Let's say when there is a large protest against the things that have a great threat to our environment and some one who is influential enough will have to decline the acceptance of Bitcoin because of the Bitcoin mining power that excessively consumes every year? Just like what Elon and Tesla did when they refuse to accept Bitcoin  as a form of awareness for everyone on the effect of Bitcoin mining in our environment.

The environmental impact of PoW as a process, particularly with bitcoin, will certainly impact the mainstream adoption of crypto... we need look no further than Tesla suspending bitcoin as a purchase method due to the energy expenditure of PoW. Even if energy for bitcoin mining was 100% renewable, companies and governments will still be concerned about its perceived association with climate change. PoS coins (soon to include ETH) should benefit, but whether this positive will overcome the negative for the industry as a whole is perhaps less certain.

No one would care about environment, until it will be impossible to walk without gas masks. Even then, people would be lazy do care, as it will be easier to change filter or air balloon.

I do believe that climate change is one of the biggest global issues, and also one that is not being taken seriously enough. So pushing for eco-friendly sources of energy, motivating people to use public transportation instead of buying cars, and not buy huge houses for a couple of people, as well as motivating them to eat more plant-based food even if they're meat eaters are all relevant things. But it's all not that simple, when it comes to practice. For example, in my country there's a very nice law for green energy that obliges the country to ensure that all of it is bought, even though the price is much higher than for not so green energy. But the biggest provider of the green energy is also the biggest owner of the most polluting plants in my country. I'm sure there are other weird things like that in other countries as well, that show the complexities of tackling the climate change. As for Bitcoin, I think it miners should not be blamed more than any other high consumers of energy, and the legislation should treat them equally, pushing for green energy instead of banning activities that require big amounts of energy.

That small protest goes viral, and many people now are already aware about the current situation and most probably this is a wake up call, so I think it can make waves but still its better to have a more crowd to wake up the government as well and do their action as early as possible, this should be addressed the right way.

Bitcoin investors are indeed into the profit only, they didn’t even care about the cost of the mining especially on the electricity simply because that’s a miner concerns and they are just buying and selling, that doesn’t effect the price of Bitcoin after all, at least not yet.

It can easily go viral because of the technology that we have now. I think this is also the reason why some parts of the US are said to undergo a btc mining ban. Why do you want more crowd and why do you want the government to make an action? Do you really want the ban to happen? You're supposed to support btc and not support the ban because you are here and you are taking the benefits of using a bitcoin. If that happens that btc mining is banned, it will affect btc.

I think it can make the network weaker and the news itself will cause for someone to worried which can lead them to sell their precious btc's.

Of course I agree to make a rebuttal to those who are skeptical about bitcoin. Compared to bitcoin, I agree more that mining gold and other natural minerals has seriously damaged the environment that when the perception of the environmental damage caused by bitcoin is expressed, they forget about other big things.

Renewable energy has been discussed quite often, so I think it suffices to say that bitcoin is an eco-friendly asset.

when the initial FUD about bitcoin became one of the reasons for the damaged environment to appear, the price of bitcoin automatically crashes, this shows that the FUD about the environment has an influence on bitcoin.  but for now its influence is very minimal because Bitcoin is not proven to be the biggest cause of environmental and climate damage.  environmentalists are wrong if they say bitcoin is a serious environmental destroyer.

For the past two years the world only focuses on covid, now they focus on Russia-Ukraine war and the ecomic aftermath. Topics like national security and rising inflation are much more important for the reelection campaigns that saving the environment. It feels like that politicians still still don't take the topic serious, even if we can already notice the negative effects all around the world. In my opinion we should give more power to the scientist to save the environment, we can't keep living like this.

Most people in government only think about the chairs they sit in, and how to stay in those chairs for as long as possible! Most governments think of climate change and ecology only on paper and while collecting votes, and in fact, nothing or very little is being done about it!
But they are not the only ones to blame, it could be said that by our "inaction" we are helping to keep the situation the same! Big changes are needed, but it seems that there is no readiness to start with big changes! In addition to readiness, we probably lack awareness! Worst of all is that the problem is growing from year to year, this is what we leave to future generations!

But the skeptics still use this excuse to attack but I don't really have a problem with it because indeed as you said there is a lot of mining that is more destructive than bitcoin and indeed a lot of the greenhouse effect is making this hotter.

This is true! Many politicians only think about their purse. What problems will concern these people? They have only one problem - how to sit for a long time at their workplace. And all the political problems they care about only because their personal money can suffer. I do not believe that political parties are worried about the problems of peace and ecology. These problems can be solved quickly, but this has not been done so far and there's always a reason for it.

the current problem, bitcoin mining requires a large amount of electrical energy, while the electrical energy currently uses non-renewable materials, so that it will gradually destroy nature, due to continuous mining of natural resources. I remember there was a previous post linking climate change to the effects of BTC mining due to the immense energy that it costs. But this was quickly resolved and addressed that such does not entirely affect the climate. While heat was produced by tons of mining rigs, these are all strategically and geographically placed into locations where the heat would be offset by the natural climate of the location (e.g. before in Russia, miners would place their mining rigs in mountains, etc.).

I also doubt that the climate would necessarily effect the prices of BTC in the market. To be honest, this is the last thing that I would think of in the event of climate change as I would prioritize my safety first.

What's the relationship between the climate change and Bitcoin?. None right?. Unless if those scientist accept Bitcoin for a purpose they wanted to do like a movement for example which they need money from people who will donate for the sake of their rally or their project to save the planet earth. If those scientist accept Bitcoin then it may bring good impact but if they are only rebelling then the news won't affect Bitcoin at all.
