Stake has certainly paid the cost to be the boss as they say.  Getting Drake as a spokesman was a pretty big deal.  I'm sure that had to get them exposure with a whole new crowd and probably brought a lot of folks into crypto.

KYC is something common now because of the regulation. Any site has their own terms about KYC and they may ask you later for some reasons. Almost all crypto casino apply a kyc or identity verification system, only for certain things. Examples such as being suspected of cheating etc. I play in many crypto casino, none of them ask for kyc when register. But when I'm in trouble, and suspected of abusing promotions, they ask me to verify my identity, and it's not a problem if we don't do it.

it is different from the one who ask for verification for questionable account than those who ask KYC even when creating an account .

meaning the first one is something for security or verification while the others is obligatory if you wanted to connect to those gambling site in matter that it is far different  .

Many have given their suggested or recommend legit casinos and I didn't think anyone have noticed that op is no longer active start minutes later after this thread is posted. Many of the replies are not read by op since of is not active a few minutes after this was posted after I checked the op's profile unless op is back from being inactive. Or maybe OP had read the thread using other account not unless this thread is sole created for spamming of His other accounts because why asked this question if he is not truly interested in finding one.

it is Ok to ask KYC specially if there is something not normal in our account or if there is a High amount that need to be withdrawn , but if you know yourself being fair in playing and only taking small amount of Money and suddenly being asked with KYC and closed your account then this is something that the site should answer because there are several sites here that has the same cases and they are proven to be scam sites.
so Yes it is not normal to have this activities specially in sites that has bad record.

There are dozens of negative reviews about Winz io. I have experienced similar situations. I do not suggest. They want full KYC verification for $100 attraction

If anyone (including you) didn't ready to give KYC on anytime they will ask, why should you play on the casino where KYC is mandatory? It doesn't make sense to do a kyc if your account will still be closed later on but I don't think an abuser will ever provide his kyc since that is a sure fire way for him to get punished by the law if ever the amount he stole is too big.

Not really. I've already seen complaints that some accounts gets deleted instantly without any warnings. Users only get curious on why they cant login to their accounts anymore. I think this move done by the casino is too annoying. I don't think it can take them much time to explain if what really happen on why they do that but they still didn't do it.

What? They ask it but they wont approved it? I think that sounds dumb but we don't know maybe they will only say that your kyc is not approved but the truth is they already got your details. They cannot use this later on against you.
