I do know who purchased it (though that is not something I will ever share- so please don't ask), but I told them to let me check with someone who FOR SURE has Cas paper wallet that's real (something received from Mike directly). I unfortunately haven't heard back form them.
What I do remember is someone telling me that this is not what they actually looked like. Perhaps Mike made several "style's" of paper wallets. Not sure.
This is what I know. It would be nice if Caldwell would help chime in for certain things time to time, but I doubt that's ever going to happen. I mean I get it, and both don't. The one thing about Mike that REALLY grinds my gears is not helping Krogo and I with the Fake Cas thread (one that is pretty "famous" at this point, has been featured in a multitude of bitcoin articles of world wide publications etc. Not being willing to add that thread to
https://www.casascius.com/ is bs. Mike also , on his old blog, said that he found a really well made fake Cas 25, but the photo is now a dead link and when I DM'd him (from an account of mine he followed ) to inquire about it/explained the importance of it..was met with silence.
I also find it weird that Mike was one of the few physical coin makers interviewed for the Physical Bitcoin Encyclopedia yet there was missing/incomplete and incorrect information , such as mintage numbers. I have a hunch that Mike made Cas stuff we've never seen or was never released publicly.. perhaps paper wallets is one of those.
