each member agrees that there is nothing and any use to do with trash/dust tokens it's better to find a safe point by not accessing it or moving valuable assets in another wallet but sometimes worthless tokens can become valuable because in fact these tokens are not trash but because the amount is small make it impossible for us to sell it and then a few years later make it valuable; so don't ignore it.... because it's still potentially valuable

It could really frustrating for sure, and many of those token are completely useless. But I think you have a blame to put on yourself you may have compromised your wallet by actives like sharing on groups, forums , Apps and so on. And scammers or jokers had access to its and are sending you token for unknown reasons. It’s time you take the next account which is sieve your wallet, you can move stop making that account your frequently used account and you can create another wallet where you can carry out a more discreet actives on.

To grow in price token must be useful for people to be in demand. Now NFT very popular and a lot of new collections appear that offers new interesting products and tools like https://twitter.com/Buakaw113/status/1517463376066396160 which offers NFT from the fighting ring to the digital world.

Only time can show how usefull a token is. A lot depends on the team, promotion, technology the project offer.
Not all the projects are able to realized all planned ideas. That is why it is necessary to check the development of the project.

The most important is to continue to develop a project. Not all the projects are actively developing during the fall of the market.

I have a wallet where a lot of tokens come in for no reason, so if we come across such a thing, better ignore it and hide the token in your wallet app if it supports so that we can avoid token scammers who just want to take advantage of transaction fees or the like because it might be one the only viable solution to avoid it and you have nothing to worry about.

Indeed, it could be a trap to track your wallet. In bitcoin network, there is an attack called 'dust attack'.
The attacker send bitcoin in fractional amount, i don't know the detail though.
I think it is risky to get rid useless token if it is not necessary, it could be a trap in their smart contract code.

You probably holds the utility token of the blockchain which your wallet using. Scammers and token promoters usually airdrop useless tokens to token holder per se BNB or ETH since all our address is available publicly in the blockchain explorer under the holders. Ignoring it is really the good thing to do since it’s not visible to our wallet unless you add it’s token contract manually.

The best and safest way to deal with this kind of token,

if you don't participate in anything and you don't know the project, in order to avoid any possible attacks, best to ignore it and continue only with your known assets. scammers are trying to penetrate never to give a sign that you are entertaining those kinds of act.

You will be more safe if you will not touch anything. Stay away from any curiosity. It won't hurt if you deal with the right way.

Is there any way to stop unwanted tokens deposits in my wallet? I have used two different types of crypto wallets and I keep getting tokens I know nothing about, I read that those tokens are scammers trap and moreover I never worked for it.
Just ignore it and dont mind about it because they are shitty ones and dont expect that you could get something from it.Why would bother if you cant benefit out?

If you do know that this is where scammers do victimized people then you do know on what to do.Dont engage nor bother up yourself on something like this.

If you are really that eager on getting rid of those coins then make out transactions and spend up fees.

In fact bsc wallet that i am facing this problem because i see the presence of all the tokens which is beyond my imagination. Plus those tokens have no value and you can't sell them even if you want to. This is actually a fraudulent token they are spreading tokens to collect money from our wallet. Needless to say, this problem did not occur much when i used the ethereum wallet more.
So you should ignore this token who is unknown and just forget unless token.

I mean your address is visible to public and other people so that's a way for scammer with their shitty coins to just send whatever they want to lure people to sync your wallet to them, so they can steal your money. I mean, if you don't know where is the source of certain coins and don't remember where that is, then just forget about it and move on. It does nothing anyways if you don't do anything to these type of coins.

it's a token scammer and if you swap all your crypto assets will be lost, but if you don't do anything with these tokens your wallet is safe. This token goes to your wallet because you publish your wallet address when participating in a bounty or airdrop. a beginner is usually easily deceived by this token because this token has a great value.

even though when I entered the crypto world there was no such thing, but now I see something terrible, this new thing can scare people,
especially people who are new to the crypto world, with scammers sending tokens to other people's addresses, it is a new act of a scammer,
we have to be really careful, because otherwise your money will be stolen by sending automatically, so be careful

maybe those who are new to the crypto world will fall into the trap of scammers, because I'm sure they (scamers) are looking for victims who are beginners. by sending them tokens with attractive estimates. If you have known Cryto for a long time, it will be difficult to get into this trap because before we exchange, we will definitely see where this token comes from. I myself almost once a week get a scamer token and the price is quite attractive. The point is that if you get a strange token, you should check it first before exchanging it.

A lot of new tokens appear when cryptocurrency market rise and there is a big demand in cryptocurrency market.
But among good and prospective projects there are a lot of scams.
But during the fall of the market the demand in cryptocurrency projects is not so high.

Hey Buddy If tokens are unwanted then just do not import them that's all you can do. Must be careful do not to swap unknown tokens it can lead to big loss of your valuable assets. Well these tokens are Spams similar to Spam emails containing malware so just stay away and follow security protocols.

Is there any way to stop unwanted tokens deposits in my wallet? I have used two different types of crypto wallets and I keep getting tokens I know nothing about, I read that those tokens are scammers trap and moreover I never worked for it.

Am tired of receiving scam token, in one of my wallet am having about 45 coins in it which I don't know how they get to my wallet, have also been thinking about if there is anyway I can stop receiving those coins but I don't think is possible and most of them are scam coin which if you want to swap they will charge you gas fee and you won't be able to swap or they will have access to your wallet. So the best thing to do is after receiving the coin just leave it in your wallet and don't try to swap it.

Crypto is evolving, so scams are becoming more sophisticated as well. We can't remove those scam codes from our wallet completely, just ignore them, never prying or try to exchange them, We won't lose anything.

You should create a new wallet and transfer all important tokens to the new wallet, do not use the main wallet to participate in social media events and airdrops. I think we will limit the receipt of these dust tokens.

I don't remember if this is the same thread or not but I am sure that someone ask on how to get rid of useless token. I suggest that you shouldn't touch it and if you have some tokens or coins that are real or not scam then better transfer it to a new wallet and abandon the one you use before. There are people mostly are scammers who gather wallet addresses and send a bunch of scam tokens and when you see it you didn't even bought or got from someone you know. Just don't touch it and you can't also transfer the tokens if they locked it.
