Abandon the wallet and download another, just move the tokens that are yours and leave behind the fake tokens, those responsible want you to move or try to sell the fake tokens it's a trap, since I've switched from coinomi wallet to Trust wallet I've not seen those fake tokens again.

Creating another address and moving valuable tokens wont help, because as soon as new address starts to get transaction, scam projects will automatically start to send you crap again. They see movement on the address - they send their crap there.

Leaving junked address and creating each time a new address for one transaction and abandoning it seems to me the only possible way right now to stop observing crap tokens in your portfolio.

they know our wallet address maybe from posted publicly by ourselves, so of course they can send any token to our wallet address, Importantly we shouldn't try to exchange or sell coins sent by unscrupulous people, if we do could be a scammer know our private key and we could lose what we have,

can be called it is a dusting attack.
although i've never gotten a token like that but one of my friends has been a victim of the token dusting attack. he lost all his valuable assets worth $40k and he feels very disappointed with the stupid thing he has done.
but that can all be used as a lesson for all of us, it is better to avoid tokens that we never know and never store valuable assets in a wallet that is used to participate in airdrops, it is better to store it in a special wallet. because usually dusting attacks get your private public address from airdrop participation.
i hope this kind of thing doesn't happen again to all of us
So this is what I do, I distinguish a special wallet and a wallet that I usually use to participate in airdrops or something to avoid the kind of things we discussed earlier. There are many ways actually, but I've seen people take this kind of thing for granted. I'm a member of several groups discussing airdrops, and it's not uncommon for them to question unknown tokens. So this could be one way to avoid spam tokens as discussed.

This is due to the fact that your wallet address is public, and many con artists want to obtain it in order to send tokens that will be used to induce users to sell their wallet or move their funds to another wallet. It will be better if you can switch from your old wallet to a new wallet, but if your participation in several airdrops is very large, there is a potential that scammers would send your wallet fraudulent tokens once more.

Always have to do it. We should distinguish wallets for participating in airdrop or bounty campaigns and main wallets for storing key assets. It is not recommended to use the main wallet to participate in free token spins or to connect to any strange websites using the main wallet. The wallet participating in the airdrop must say that I have a dozen of them, I never use the same wallet many times and if any assets are valuable and decide to keep for a long time, I will switch to the main wallet.

Garbage tokens are always there and appear if there are transactions, they seem to use bots to find out active wallets, of course this is because of the very cheap transaction costs, most of which are BSC or Matic networks, while for the ERC20 net I have never received a token that I am not know.

Exactly, once a wallet is active irrespective if they are public or not, those bots will send useless tokens, different chains has it pros and cons too

Never move spam tokens in your wallet, if you don't want to lose all your tokens, because it can also drain your money for a single transaction and it's full of risk if you move it or throw it away, because you are worried that your secret key could be recorded by someone who irresponsible, so my advice is to just leave the token in your wallet, at least it doesn't hurt you..

From my experience it mostly happens whenever you tried to trade your token in that wallet maybe if you swap token before or after the end of the trading you end up seeing unwanted token in the wallet, at this point do not panic and don't you ever try to swap such token most of them are phishing token trying to empty your wallet if you initiate swap. Just ignore them and go your way.

I do get tokens and I have nothing against them and I understand the value. However, I always feel the need to sell them pretty quickly to be honest.

It's just for me, I have long hold position in Bitcoin and I feel pretty strongly about it. I totally understand people have different stands but I like being heavy in BTC. I have some alt-coins but mainly I only buy BTC.

It can be said that there is no way to prevent those scam tokens, the only way is that we should ignore them, never try to touch them even once. This is a fairly common form of fraud today, not new, but still many people fall into their trap. As long as we ignore them and don't touch them, they can never harm us.

What are you saying, don't know if I misunderstood your answer or not, but your answer is completely unrelated to OP's question.

i just want everyone to be more careful when new tokens come in to always look for information via the web or youtube channel. sometimes the token dusting attack has been shared in several media so that there are no more victims.

Based on my experience active arbitrage and trade on BSC network can't ignore with many time receiving new spam and scam token in my wallet, few minutes after sending coin suddenly I received new token deposit in my wallet. I don't think happened with bounty campaign hunter or airdrop follower only but all transaction made sending and receiving some token you will get credit with scam token later. Usually easy for receiving scam token when make transaction swap on BSC and Polygon network, usually when I use ethereum network for sending and receiving coins less have credit with spam token in my wallet.

I don't checked about how much expensive or not with scam token receiving in my wallet because first time checking with holder address looks not realistic and some time BSC network can detected with dusting token received.

Trying to allure you with fake tokens that you don't even know where it came.

Never to touch or do any transactions, as it will open doors for them to hack your wallet and if you do have coins or valuable
assets all will be gone in just split of seconds, they will be able to transfer everyhing out. Be vigilant with every movement that you are dealing with your wallet.

best course of action is just to ignore it, there's really nothing much you can do with these spammy tokens in general, they exists just as nuisance and nothing more. moreover I think there's features in wallet that you could use to deactivate and ignore these tokens in general so you wouldn't see it in your sights and consider they don't even there.

No need to worry about getting rid of tokens that we don't want, like you said we can just ignore them and pretend they never existed.
Because sometimes our wallet addresses can be known by many people when following the bounty, therefore there are always unwanted tokens
that enter our wallets with bad intentions of course. But if we feel disturbed because of the many unwanted tokens in our wallet. We can activate
the hide feature which is usually found in some wallets, if there is no hide feature, maybe another step is to move the projects we want to our main
wallet whose address we don't share with anyone. That's why I always have several wallets with different uses. Usually exchanges wallets are used
to store projects for trading, then some online wallets to accept bounty payments. And for my main wallet to store projects for the long term,
I usually use hardware wallets which have proven to be safe for storing the projects I really want.

Yes, leaving the token in your wallets saves you from two things.

First, you are not exploiting of wallet hack as in some cases you lose all your funds if you send some scam tokens to another address or connect your metamask with some scam exchange. Secondly, it saves you tx fee in case those useless tokens are on the Ethereum exchange.

I have some alt-coins but mainly I only buy BTC.

to be honest, most of the people who got those useless coins were BSC wallet users. however, I also have a lot of such coins in my trust wallet, and when they appear, it's annoying. I'm one of those people who want the coins to disappear from my personal wallet, but I realize that it doesn't need to be done, and it doesn't need to be ignored, because there is a possibility that they will continue to send new useless coins
I have also seen that there are more such scam tokens in BSC wallet. But I don't try to make any kind of transfer in those tokens. There is no effective way to stop them. As long as we should avoid those tokens there will be no problem. Moreover, we will understand our self which tokens we were not supposed to get but have arrived. This can be said to be annoying for users.

Several kinds of dusting or scam token in my wallet received when swap and sending coins in Polygon network, I made once or twice transaction only after receiving token in Polygon Network than I swap at Anyswap dapp exchange market, without few minutes later after transaction completed suddenly I received this several kinds of scam token. I don't active use this wallet because have coins left from long time and swap after have higher price. I think all network have indicate with many kinds scam token, keep watch out when receiving new token and check at dextool to know about how much liquidity volume transaction.

Once the token get's deposited in your wallet, there's no way you can transfer them or remove them. If you try any of this, then a scammer will have access to your wallet. I have made a post few months ago. The problem i am facing is whenever i try to deposit ETH on my wallet, that automatically gets send to a wallet which is obviously scammer's wallet. There's a lot of transaction on that account in the same way.
So to avoid this, you can do 2 things.
First, you can keep your assets in your Exchange platform. But this one carries risk.
Second one is to transfer your token in an Exchange site and withdraw your assets from there to a brand-new wallet. This way, even with the last hacked wallet's transaction hash, scammers won't be able to track your new wallet.

There is nothing we can do with useless tokens, if we are disturbed by the token, it is better to make a new wallet to store assets, the waste token is deliberately sent randomly based on recorded transactions, and in my opinion as long as we don't care then this is no problem.
