Never. Dogecoin won't beat BTC simply because it's a "shitcoin". It's only a Bitcoin clone with a few minor tweaks. With inflation "baked" into the protocol, how would you expect DOGE to surpass the original cryptocurrency anytime soon? The only thing that will happen within the short term is that Dogecoin's price will rise to all the way to the moon. Set yourself forward to the future, and DOGE will be less valuable than what it is right now. People should stop following Elon Musk and instead focus on crypto's utility. Otherwise, greed will lead the crypto industry towards a "dark path". No one can predict the future, so we can only hope for the best. Just my opinion

This is very true. I don't really recommend buying DOGE since it is just a manipulative meme coin and there is a possibility that Elon Musk holds a lot of DOGE than any whales. There is no one who can beat Bitcoin since it is the first-ever cryptocurrency which is no one can control it even the government except by providing false news to take down the BTC price.

Taking advantage of the market will really get you profit. Buying DOGE while in dip will get you a profit in the future and if Elon Musk tweets about it again.

It is a memecoin which it would really be staying up that way and one of the factors that would disqualified it which it does have that big supply and i dont actually see its utility which is mostly been used on gambling.

People can't expect a "meme coin" to overcome the original cryptocurrency which started it all. It can't even be taken seriously because of the inflation "baked" into the protocol. Dogecoin's original creators/founders even said that the coin was meant to be a joke. Unless there's a reduction in supply and the project comes up with something truly innovative, I don't see it going anywhere soon. There are far better cryptocurrencies on the market with a proven track record of development and innovation.

I'd say both Bitcoin and Ethereum are better than Dogecoin itself for many obvious reasons. How far will the "meme coin" go will greatly depend on mainstream adoption. It may never overcome BTC, but it might stay with us for quite a long time. After all, it's one of the oldest cryptocurrencies in existence. Who knows what the future holds for DOGE and the entire crypto/Blockchain industry? Just my thoughts

Let alone meme coins like Dogecoin becoming new BTC, even ETH which is the best altcoin is unlikely to become new BTC. In fact, there have been
lots of new projects created to replace BTC, but all of them ended up failing. Because Bitcoin is too strong to beat, so Bitcoin is like a mother
to other cryptocurrencies. No matter how big Elon Musk's influence is, it's impossible for Dogecoin to overtake Bitcoin,  even I'm not sure Elon Musk is

If I personally see the two as coins that are very different in class so it is not worth comparing even though in general they are both cryptocurrencies, but on the other hand like wanting to compete with Bitcoin, I think that is something that Dogecoin will not happen at all though So far Dogecoin is not a bad coin in the crypto space either.

Couldn't agree more with you, mate. Elon Musk is only taking advantage of Dogecoin by pumping it across social media platforms. He doesn't care about the cryptocurrency itself as long as his pockets are filled with money. Most people are foolish enough to think crypto is all about Elon Musk, when in fact, it is not. Anything that Elon Musk says can either positively or negatively affect Dogecoin's price on the market.

I'm waiting for the day when Elon Musk gets bored of Dogecoin so that people can move on to other things. DOGE may be the oldest "meme coin" in existence, but that doesn't mean it's meant to go sky-high in price. It was developed as a joke and it will stay that way forever. I don't think that everything Elonmusk has done will be fulfilled, right now the doge is down and he can't do anything to lift the doge, so if it's in a situation like this, Elonmusk can't do anything even though twitter is with him at the moment.

This kind of comparison does not seem logical at all. A meme coin can never take the place of BTC. Currently Elon Musk is the top businessman in the world who constantly finding new business. There is no reference where he is the owner of Doge coin. Trader and investors just assumed that he may be the owner. So in this situation we can not claim it. If he tries, he can take its position much higher. He can also create utility tokens from Meme tokens. However, it is not clear whether there are any such thoughts at the moment.

In this case there is a striking difference between the two. bitcoin has become a trusted coin, which in its role is a reference for market movements, while doge is clearly big in name due to manipulation and until now many of the holders are disappointed because of previous events. it is indeed difficult to replace bitcoin, even ethereum I think is very difficult.

And it is the best cryptocurrency to invest in and in it has proven its worth by doing every other cryptocurrency.
