Op, it's a big question whether historical events are predestined. And while sure, some big events have a lot of prior buildup and many causes, so they are very likely to have been unaviodable, many things can be changed by human behavior. For example, Bill Gates and leading scientists warned that the likeliest global threat is a pandemic, and urged the countries to prepare and ensure a fast response. But politicians usually take evidence and such predictions fairly skeptically, and don't want to deal with anything hypothetical. After all, maybe it'll happen during someone else's time on office, so they should deal with that. A nuclear war is not unavoidable. It's a risk that's there, and sometimes there are escalations, but it's still not likely to happen. And if there's a global full-scale nuclear war, the impact will be so high that Bitcoin will be the last of people's concerns.
