Hi all... First post

I have a goldshell lb1 and I am trying to load the driver on windows 10. However Windows 10 keeps
telling me it has a better driver and prevents me from loading the one from Goldshell (and the one that works).

Have any of you faced the same frustration ?
How did you fix ?

Thx

I have tried disabling the signature and checks for older versions.
The wizard ALWAYS says:

... Didnt install,, it was not better than the software you currently have installed.
Even after i uninstall it.

Also, if I try to run the Driver exe while in safe mode, it errors.

Can you try following this tutorial?

I remember that I had to do something like this to install the Radeon Blockchain driver a long time ago.

Have you tried removing the drivers with DDU (you can download it from TechPowerUp) and tried installing the Goldshell driver as administrator?

Turning automatic Windows drive update off is always a good thing. I have to many experiences with it messing with my my drivers for some specific hardware not working anymore.

Great idea but, I couldnt find a way to delete the driver causing issues.
Windows thinks      STMicroelectronics Virtual Com Port     is better than the Goldshell driver.

Unless I missed something, I cant see how to use DDU to remove the ST.... driver.

Have tried contacting Goldshell and asked them about the issue you have with their driver or asked RedPandaMining as he has some Goldshell miners/asics.
