Of course the success of the project depends on the market analysis and how you perceive the market and make the moves out of it.
But there are so many good pieces of advices shared by the members here. I have read them and they are wonderful - hope OP has learnt something out of it.

shilling by influencer be old marketing activity from developers team, they must have breakthrough to attract investors buy their token. maybe trading competition and also content creation contest that explain about their utility and product will be good way to attract investors from exchanges or outside exchanges.

I think the seriousness of the project in working on the project is the main factor. Because when the project is serious about working on their project according to the roadmap, everyone will be interested and the community will also come together and be very happy to invest here. Unfortunately, there are very few serious projects because currently only utility coins can dominate the market such as BNB and ETH.

before joining any project you have to analysis about it attentively cause most of new projects are lunching in crypto market with old bullshit ideas with old common whitepaper, only for earn money. So read their concept first. Then see their team member, search about them and check link carefully if they are fruad or not. Then check development and community support. try to understand, if they really want to do something in this field or they aiming disappeared after tokensale.

One thing I've noticed most I'm many crypto projects is hype. The ability to hype your project will attract more investors to buy such project for a long time. Also utility and features is also an important factors with marketing plans and budgets.

It's also less effective, friend, traders will also think repeatedly to enter a new coin trading competition, it's too risky. So far I still haven't seen any marketing strategy, different developers of each project use almost the same marketing. It's just about my opinion that I'm not into marketing as a success factor for a new token project, I feel the success factor starts to show when entering the exchange, because that's where the team will really work to keep their token on the exchange.

There are many factors that can contribute to the success of crypto project.
Lets see one of the success crypto project, binance for example. Binance coin have solid project and team on the start.
Marketing strategy also contribute in the factor too, because people won't know about the project without a proper marketing strategy.

Being genuine and good teams are not enough to have a great project to even survive on this market condition. Good community, not a scammer team. More of the scam projects are coming in and the scam projects are always trying to use another scheme to get those investors money. It's really difficult to even invest on new projects unless you do really know what is going on there.
