I'm shocked, I didn't find any thread about Libertadores  
So it's my duty to create one to this incredible cup, this is the most important championship of South America
The winner is qualified to FIFA Club World Cup, and most of times will play against the champion of UEFA Champions League

Let's try to predict the winner of this year, I'll make a poll with the most favorite teams, the 4th round will start, we are in the middle of group stage

My favorite team is Corinthians, but this years I'm not confident enough to think about the first place, maybe quarter-finals is more plausible

Anyone here from South America or have a team of heart in here?

Hehehe, Libertadores really have a different atmosphere than other championships

Boca Juniors won the 2000, 2001 and 2007 championship, with Riquelme playing like master, and you are probably talking about Martín Palermo, his partner and an awesome striker

I agree with you, the most strongest teams are brazilians right now, specially Palmeiras, Flamengo and Atletico MG, but there's an important factor to consider all other countries, the home factor
I watched the last match of Corinthians vs Boca Juniors, and the argentinian team is not good as used to be, but it's hard to beat it on La Bombonera, and this can apllies to more teams, like you said for Deportivo Táchira for example, the fans are something else

I can answer you because the last south american who won Fifa World Cup is Corinthians, my team  
In 2012 Corinthians won the match versus Chelsea in Japan
Look at the Chelsea team in 2012 (Petr Cech, Ivanovic, David Luiz, Cahill and Ashley Cole, Ramires, Frank Lampard, Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, Victor Moses e Fernando Torres)

Corinthians is really going through a bad phase in several championships this year.
Corinthinas is really having problems with the relationship between players and tactics and even between the players themselves.
It seems that Corinthinas no longer has that desire to score goals, something is missing.
