No it's not the big one! Market is indeed crashing due to the increase in interest by FED. Same is happening in India as well, after Indian central bank announced an interest increase of 40 BPS points. But such crashes are temporary.

Increase in interest rate forces a segment of investors who had invested their extra cash in stock market. Some institutions who are parking their free cash in stock market, has been pulled out as well. So a temporary crash we are seeing.

That will recover quite soon.

Im not really that a fan on believing into these kind of sentiments or fundamentals but it might be also the reason on why we are really that seeing this and its true that this isnt
something new or shocking anymore because if you've been here on this market for years then these movements are just like into those ordinary days.It could pump or dump
on to a point that you dont know on whats the reason behind of these events thats what makes this market is truly unpredictable or very random.

No idea who follows stocks but today was a horrible day in the markets. Just like last Friday.
Seems that there is less liquidity and seeing almost close to -10% drops on Large cap stocks like Amazon and Tesla seem to be the norm.

During bull markets it’s never normal to get a -10% or +10% day. However we get these days every week pretty much.

Many bulls are completely battered and calling it quits and accepting that a recession is about to follow.

I know a guy with a few million followers that were very active testing about buying the dip last year, somehow lately as the dips become deeper he has gone silent, probably keeping his last cash to flee the coups rather than catching the knife again 
Interestingly enough the number of people screaming cheap coins has also decreased quite a bit, probably out of cash after buying the last cheap coins, or maybe,.. who knows!

That's why we also have to be wise in using the moment of decline because we don't know how deep the price will go down.

$33k is probably the lowest it could become. it going to plunge down to $20k when the price dips beyond that support. analyzing the situation which could get worse, i have put my money back to stablecoin yesterday too at $38k. i could be wrong with this but it's all up to each other's decision.

DCAing is definitely not profitable in a bear market. the volatility as well these days is very different compared to market with apparent trend.

This is called as improvisation of investments which were made for the hard times. Considering global set back of financial management this was supposed to happen. On one side we have inflation peaking the highs and investors are just flogging the dead horse. In these situation peeps really need their money and most importantly they need to break even by re-entering the market at lows. I’m sure this is temporary situation with everyone just correcting the portfolios. Health breakdowns, wars, fud so many factors to consider really.

It is too far to compare 1930 to 2022 charts. It is not logical at all if anything. It is crypto and bitcoin market we are talking about here and we know bitcoin was never there in 1930. Any comparison involving the stock market at that time and now should not be taken as accurate. It will be misleading. I have checked the two charts and they do not look identical. I do not in any way see the need for that comparison.

This has always been part of the crypto market, bull and bear, now the market is probably on the bear period which many of us are already familiar with. There is no market condition that will last longer than usual, so at the end there will always be a recovery period, the only thing you need now is patient and stop looking at the price always. There is nothing anyone can do except to wait till this period will be over. It is hard to watch but we must face it as investors.

Now $36K or -47% of ATH.
It is true that traders or investors may be able to hold their bitcoin while the market is correcting in the hope that the price will bounce back and recover as quickly as possible. This isn't the first time bitcoin has had its price dump of over 47% of ATH and if I'm not mistaken then it has happened several times since 2021.

Investors certainly know how to take advantage of the current dump market and usually they will buy and hold their assets in the long term and expect a worth it return. A price dump is not the end for bitcoin, it's a natural state for an uncontrollable asset like bitcoin. We can expect a decline, but we also need to know how to take advantage of it to make a profit during price discounts.

Price of bitcoin did crash from 40k to 36k and is now holding at 36k. I guess this dump is temporary due to changes in some banking systems and nothing more to worry about. This could be a good position to buy but dont go all in right away, prices could dump below. I would personally like 30k to be reached so that my buy orders get executed and I am sure some weak hands here and there have started panic selling.

Whatever happens in the world stage, treat these as just numbers and buy/sell according to those numbers so you can remain in profit. That is the basis of making profit of this. It does not matter what is big and what is small, you have to profit off the movement.

If it was about the crash, the crash have started last year, it was on December to specific but unfortunately it continued up to this point. People shouldn't be surprised if their prediction didn't went through because it was only just a prediction anyway. It is not guaranteed but it is still early to feel bad about the price.

We aren't halfway yet in this year so maybe the price can still make a comeback and real increase can come at the last quarter of this year. In terms of the Russian and Ukraine war, I think they have contributed something on the decline of the price but it wasn't that heavy and later on, it was also the war that leads for the price to recover because there are good news that we saw later on.

This crash isn't similar to big crashes like the one that happened way back in 2018 in my opinion. Why? Because this particular crash is an organic one and BTC will most probably bounce back to the $40K range pretty soon.

Recent historical data proves my statements. However, I don't think BTC will breach the $50K barrier soon unless something major happens.

Its my first time knowing that whenever FED increase interest rates, it often have a negative effect in the market. What I only know is the Russia-Ukraine war and the inflation is the reason why markets are going down. Thanks for sharing.

Crashes are temporary I agree on that. The best thing to do right now is to stay patient and not do anything or if possible stay away from seeing the charts because it will just make you anxious and you might panic as well and make bad decisions. If you have extra money then you can buy assets at a lower price but its risky.
