Home advantage and it resultant effects on football outcome

The game of football is one of the world's's most popular sporting activities and there are various rules guiding the game of football since we are on a gambling discussion board I decided to post this here creating the thread to open discussion on your personal views on one of the football rules that have changed the way the result of football match go, the rule is HOME ADVANTAGE what is your opinion about this rule do you think the rule should be removed from football match rules and let the performance of teams be what their walk away with, some wired situation is when a club is playing a qualifying match and because club A is home and made a 1 goal score that point will represent a no goal and when the clubs Home and away play draw, the team away will be considered the winners and qualify for the next round. I think this rule should be removed and let teams play out their points rather than relying on advantage.

Your writing is not so clear OP, but if i understand you correctly, i think you are mistaking "Away goal rule" for "Home Advantage".

When a team plays at home, they have an advantage as it is expected that they have more spectators to cheer them up plus they are already conversant with the pitch of play. With that advantage, a home team is usually expected to perform better than a visiting side. This is what "Home Advantage" is to me OP.

"Away goal rule" is more closer to what i think OP is trying to describe, where an away goal will count more when two team play home and away games and there's a draw. If so, this rule has already been abandoned.

Personally, I think it's good that it was removed. There are quite a few reasons why I was against the rule, but just a couple 1) It just feels unfair that a draw over two legs can result in a winner. If a team wins the first leg 3-1, and then loses the second leg 2-0, then it's 3-3 on aggregate, and neither side should be perceived as having "won", and more importantly 2) If it's level over two legs, and the match goes to extra time - it's only the second leg that goes to extra time, not both of them... so the side that's away in the second leg just gets a huge advantage... if both teams score one goal in extra time, it means the away team "win".

No, as for the second point, this rule has never worked in this way - if extra time started, then if there is a draw, there will be only a penalty shoot-out, neither team received an advantage.

I think everyone is happy about the abolition of this rule. It was initially stupid: it was introduced because it was assumed that the away team would play more attacking football, since goals are "cost" expensive. But in reality, the home teams started playing more defensive football because of these considerations. And instead of increasing entertainment, the opposite result was obtained.

Away goal rule has already been removed in some competitions such as those of uefa starting this year 2021-2022.

now in itself I am not against this rule, but it can change the level of the game ... example a team that starts from an advantage situation thanks to the goals scored away will try to defend itself all the time of the return match ...

Even if we get to vote and protest about it, we are nowhere near close to tell FIFA president to change the rules.
Rule's are being updated whenever they feel it is necessary to change and upgrade.
You're to watch football analyse and enjoy the game, if you're not a FIFA Representative just look for something decent too do.

I only noticed away goal rule in UEFA campaigns league and it does not count again unlike before. If both clubs played the same goals and one is having more goals than the other club in away match, definitely the away club with more away goals will now still play penalty after second match extra time lead to the same goals with the opponent.
