Newbie! I've learnt to always start somewhere!

The popular concept of "think big, start small" is widely known to a whole lot of people but it is rarely applied to our daily activities and decisions. Sometimes we want to have it all, we want to gather all the details, informations, funds, energy and resources needed before we consider initiating an activity which sometimes does not work because we cannot have it all, and that right time we are waiting for might not come. I have always thought Cryptocurrency is a complex subject meant for a specialized set of people who are intellectual, smart, financially buoyant, very careful and so on. Considering it was a thought that flips through my mind but I end up discarding it almost all the time, I wanted to have all the needed information and knowledge before making an attempt, but then recently, i was enlightened that if I do not change my mentality about waiting for the right time by gathering all the information, which is called procrastination, I might end up not starting at all or getting anyway near achieving anything..

Since the passion to learn was there, the moment I started reading about Cryptocurrency, how it evolved and how it is been controlled and its trading system, my eyes got opened to the opportunities I had kept waiting for so long because of my preconceived notion about it. Start from somewhere, the journey of a thousand miles begin with just a step, before you know it, the chain of knowledge you gather becomes longer and stronger, it is not too late to begin.

This is the story of some of the present renowned Cryptocurrency experts, and it is same with me and many other beginners. I've realized that we cannot reach a higher standard than we set for ourselves, so let's set our mark high and step by step though it be by painful effort, sacrifice, denial, we will ascend the whole length of the ladder of progress, let nothing hinder us.

The  journey of a thousand miles they say, starts with a first step. Apart from cryptocurrency trading, the is applicable to other businesses in which certain persons fill they need to attain certain measures, capital, or higher knowlege before starting and before they know it time has overtaken them.

While others decided to start small even with little or no knowledge but out of determination and conviction towards such business and with time they became masterpiece in the line  while those waiting to achieve much before starting are still in the waiting line.

There's no right time specifically to start up a business, anytime is the right time, what's needed is the right mindset and so many fail to understand this. Cryptocurrency is not that rigid to understand and trade in, for as far as you have decided the road map for knowlege about it will definitely open for you through others experience and personal experiences along the way.

We cannot deny the fact that crypto is a wide field, it is also technical. This applies to especially those who see crypto as more than buying low and selling high. But to buy, hodl and sell people, crypto is not a difficult thing.
Starting small is the answer. Starting is better than procrastinating, no matter how small you started. Crypto is not something you understand from the outside, you will need to join the bandwagon and then continue to grow in the system with practice and experience.
In anything you do, there is always a starting point.

We can reach what we aim for in just a matter of time. Yet, we can't achieve that also if we don't work hard or we if we just feel it easy.
To keep thinking that crypto investment is risky, we dare not to rush as it only ends up in a disaster. I could remember few months back I was a newbie also, with with time I level up. In life you just have to start from somewhere, and stay determined in what you doing and also stay patient. You will always get there, so don’t give up and stay determined.

Everyone starts from newbie until what you are now. Don't ever think that we didn't experience bad times before we achieve what we have right now. Of course, you have to work hard and be smart about it so that you'll be able to contribute in the forum by helping others through the threads you made and guiding someone else who doesn't know what he's into. Crypto is wide and it's not just about one token, coin or altcoin so you should be knowledge in field that you know best or interested.

Something is unclear in your post. When you say "start somewhere" what exactly does it mean? Are you talking about investing in cryptocurrencies and choosing something random and jumping in so that you have started somewhere or are you talking about the technology and starting to learn more about it?

I have a feeling that you are talking about the first one (investment) and I have to tell you that for years a lot people did that and lost a lot of money. They start reading stuff on the internet about altcoins and how to invest and make money and because 99% of them are garbage the newcomers become very confused and end up either giving up or deciding to jump in blindly so that they have "started somewhere". Obviously that leads to disaster.

If your first learning us about investment maybe you need to go back to learning basics first. Investment is high risk and its not really advisable for first timers cause youll lose a lot of money without any knowledge on proper trading. I myself suffered a lot in the past and even sometime I didnt able to convert my losses into profits cause it was never easy. But somehow I am learning to the process slowly and dont rush it cause it will only resulted to worse,  always be patience.

The golden rule is to look for something unique, that solves a problem in a perfect way and that society needs, this will create a high demand for that project and the high demand will equal the money sooner or later (if the conditions are exploited perfectly)

And the opposite of this rule in the models that promise you a quick profit.

I think this post is all about all the newbies, who is being hesitant to explore cryptocurrency in the beginning and waiting for the right time, reasons could be a lack of knowledge about the same, having not enough information, or wanting some more time to explore more about cryptocurrency, could be waiting for the right time to start chasing the dream what he/she has dreamt for since time demands the same.

I do believe that waiting for the right time to start off with your dreams will never happen unless and until we gather all our courage and give our best shot to achieve the goal we have desired and then we can have a clear path to follow or to guide you to chase your dreams.

I so much have interest in this saying because if many businesses and start-ups had taken this into consideration they might not have ended folding up or performing below expectations, the motive behind every project or business start-up is very paramount and cannot be overlooked, as a newbie its not all about starting but lasting or maintaining the statusquo and every newbie both on the forum and other platforms out there should key into learning first because lack of knowledge will cost alot that would have been avoided if the knowledge is there.

The worst thing that can happen to a human being is procrastination. Procrastination has destroyed dreams and vision. There's no special time for investment. Invest when you ought to, don't seek any one permission. There is an open door to the opportunity given to us in the cryptosphere, the way you utilized your investment strategy will give you the result. Those more experienced don't need much advice, however, beginners certainly have lots to learn and are always looking for new insights. Learning the basics can help the newbie get ahead. It's a true saying the procastination is a grave where ideas are buried. Most of the time we make excuses of about not having enough information, no much money, the I deal isn't enough, forgetting that when we start with a baby step we grow eventually into adulthood.

But we don't see these excuses as procastination instead we tell ourselves that when we start everyone will notice, but with time we never start that business or dream.

This is a wake up call for everyone just start where you are and eventually every other thing will fall in place.

Apart from the fact that I'm a worry-wart, I also have Doctorate degree in procrastination. I always question my decision (to the gross level) to start something, I look out to the perfect time to start, I worry about the outcome, all these always give birth to over thinking things,which subsequently leads to procrastination.
It was the same when I registered on this forum, it took me weeks before I finally summon the will to make my first post. Here I am now, almost at the 3rd rank of the forum. Starting from somewhere is just the key, every other thing will align along the way, but folding hands and waiting for the right time will only limit your chance to explore your purpose.

The other important step that is absolutely necessary before starting anything is making sure that you are not in over your head. It is always better to start small. There's actually very little opportunities in cryptocurrency. There's a ton of scams and chaotic pump and dump markets, but not a lot of things that are actually useful for society. It's also very hard to find a job that pays in cryptocurrency or get into mining.

It may look like people who are into crypto are making a lot of money, but what you don't hear is all the stories how people lose a lot of money.

Focus on learning about Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is an actually useful project that wasn't created just to enrich the developers.

I think most at times, people fail to see the secret to what they want is all around them, they ha e failed to observe their surroundings.
Looking at once surrounding a lot of limitations, and if one can solve them or one at a time, then one can generate good and enough money to invest. Solving the electrical power supply issues in Africa won't be an easy one but doing this will go a long way for whoever develops something to supply power and get funds in return for that! Since the government are too lazy and wicked too care!

OP, you're right. Interest in crypto technologies awakens in everyone in different ways. Someone was interested in Bitcoin immediately when it appeared, and someone has only now learned about it. Another thing that is important here is that it is important that any way we come to our interests sooner or later. No wonder, many advise: "Do not impose your interests on anyone, just tell them, and then people will draw their own conclusions whether they need this information or not."
But the expression that the road will be mastered by the one walking is valuable because we are convinced that if we collect knowledge drop by drop, we will eventually win. It is important not to rush and to move on only after understanding the first steps. Thus, we avoid the mistakes that people make when they study something superficially.
