After Binance bought into Forbes magazine on February of this year, it appears Changpeng Zhao is buying into another valuable maintream company. This time it is Twitter, a platform where much of the venture capitalists, founders, whales and influencers of the cryptospace share their thoughts, their predictions and their speculations. It appears that with Binance's investments outside of the cryptospace, it has only one direction to go and this is going up only hehehe.



Crypto exchange giant Binance is among a dozen outside investors backing Elon Musk's $44 billion takeover of Twitter, according to a filing published on Thursday.

The amended 13-D, filed to the Securities and Exchange Commission revealed a $500 million commitment from Binance.

Twitter users using their accounts to create Binance profile is not safe, most hacks that happens aren't direct to the platform but social media, taking over peoples account on Twitter is more easier than hacking binance accounts direct, CZ can't that be stupid enough to think its a good idea.

You are exaggerating a bit, many websites/portals look much worse than CMC. For me, the most important thing is that the portal fulfills its function and does not allow any scams to advertise. Every business is about earning money, so advertising is no wonder.

It's all about business that's for sure, maybe you can link your Binance to your Twitter account and vice versa. And maybe it will only be the platform that you can used if you want to tip someone in Twitter. Then tell us how to make a better coinmarketcap, there is nothing he can do about coinmarketcap because CMC is doing what it should be doing, its a platform for crypto coins and tokens information, its not an investment platform where they can battle scammers, let's not blame CZ for what CMC is.

Well who knows? Aside from the free speech, I read that Elon also plans to open source Twitter which could become helpful in improving account security. Adding Twitter as one of the log-in option might not happen but he's most likely planning on leveraging this platform to benefit Binance in the future.

yes you're right, I'm getting pessimistic if CZ starts joining. I don't want the Coinmarketcap incident to happen again. Even though my expectations were very high when Elon Musk acquired Twitter, I think that in the future Twitter will become a spam-free social media platform. but when I read the news that CZ started to join for twitter funding, my hopes started to fade.

I am using coinmarketcap with brave so i guess i am missing all the ads but i personally thought cmc went way better after binance bought it. Rating system was fooled by fake volume all the time. "chat" experiment next of the coins however has failed horribly.

Good decision from CZ, if it's true as well that twitter will be clean and safe for all users like what elon musk said after he bought the platform. yes you're right, I'm getting pessimistic if CZ starts joining. I don't want the Coinmarketcap incident to happen again. Binance seems to keep growing and growing and is already spreading outside of the crypto space with it's investements. I am not a big fan of Binance to be honest because it is never good if one company or institution controlls to much within an environment. I also was not happy when Binance bought coinmarketcap a while ago because now this site is also not neutral anymore but just another tool for Binance to avertise for their own platform and to get new users onto their exchange. For example with all those airdrop lotteries that are going on now on coinmarketcap where only a few people win in the end but everyone has to have an Binance account in order to participate.

You are exaggerating a bit, many websites/portals look much worse than CMC. For me, the most important thing is that the portal fulfills its function and does not allow any scams to advertise. Every business is about earning money, so advertising is no wonder.

^ This is how I see CMC now thanks to my uBlockOrigin. Deleted the footer completely too. I hated everything CZ did to this website. It used to be a nice tool to track crypto prices and get information (still is if you do what I did), after CZ bought it, CMC turned into a shitcoin ad platform. Bots are spamming shitcoins in the chatbox, random video player shitcoin shill talking it is simply disgusting.

Have confirmed and that true information after social media twitter Binance tweet about join funding for Elon Musk takeover twitter, right now both site have the same mission although last several moths have bad communicating each other. But bad news after Binance announce it with bitcoin price back drop under $36,000. I don't see good news when Elon Musk takeover twitter social media and not impact directly for bitcoin can reach to higher price again and always correcting almost on this week.
