Most people that panic don't do their homework about bitcoin. Remember bitcoin plunged to 3k in 2020 after rising to an ATH of 20k in 2017. Only the wise traders will understand that it's never too late to hold a single satoshi. Because, the market is meant for everyone to benefit from. I don't see the price of bitcoin pegged to dollar as a treat when it drops or increases. Enjoy the dip while it last, soon same people will regret why they didn't buy now and end up buying bitcoin when it hits 50k.

There are some people who seem to forget very quickly. I was just thinking about the year 2020, when the price of bitcoin dropped by 50% at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic. Those who missed the opportunity later complained that they should have invested at the time. The same people are probably now complaining that prices have dropped. They do not realize they are once again missing out on an opportunity.

I joined here in 2017 exactly when ATH happened and then fell in 2018 with the bitcoin fear and greed index level of only a few percent and this proved a lot of newcomers -my friends- who sold it and I myself survived and the bear market continues to fall and fall so it took a long time for the bull market to come back and now it's not like 2018 and so different that I assume it won't be long

$32k means 50% down from all time high. It is a point of double bottom too. Therefore, I think that Bitcoin will bounce back strongly from $32k.

2018 bitcoin fell from 20k$ to 3k$, compared to the current 50% drop which may not be the final bottom. I think bitcoin will continue to fall and maybe go below $30k.

But I don't expect Bitcoin to turn back to bullish. It won't return its trend quickly and we won't see a V shape rally from $32k to $69k. There will be a long time for accumulation in months before the market will be warmed up again before 2024 halving.

Because people now are uncertainty about what will happen with Bitcoin, up or down, fall more or rally strongly. From uncertainty, they will response from panic to FOMO with Bitcoin bounce. I expect to see big green and big red candles in next few days around $32k.

Surely the market needs to accumulate for a long time before it can rise again, should not expect a bounce at this time. IMO, Bitcoin will rise again and a new bull season will happen with the next Bitcoin Halving.

Is somebody here in the forum who is panicking right now?? Hmm maybe those newbies who just joined crypto for a few weeks to months. Maybe its their first time to see crypto moved like this thus, they are panicking. Media? That's normal for them to react like that either the crypto is bearish or bullish.

Its an opportunity for the others to buy Bitcoin now that it is at its lowest price. Yes there are some investors who are waiting for the price to go even lower because of how the market is moving right now but for me, I think this is a good time to buy not only Bitcoin but other top altcoins as well. Just be ready whenever it goes down even lower than your buying price. We have given another opportunity to buy crypto at a lower price and yet there are others who are still waiting to go even lower..

Best time? There is no such thing as best time when it comes to buying because anything can happen. You are expecting for the market to go down lower but it didn't happen and vice versa. If you really want to buy now then buy now. The risk is lower and you can get higher rewards.

We won't know it while the market is still down, but these institutional investors may disclose that they bought this dip few months from now. Some are silently for sure accumulating bitcoin stash as this is a very good level to get your satoshis. Because sooner or later, as we see btc going up again, we will hear a lot of regrets that they haven't bought when it was 30k.

My thoughts are turning into "Bitcoin 4-year cycle conspiracy" direction. We are in 2018 right now, when Bitcoin price went from $20k to $4k. I believe there is nothing to catch in Bitcoin this year, if you are holder. Just wait for next year and better concentrate on own fiat financial stability until the end of this year, as it looks like to be tough. The trust in crypto has greatly shaken during last 24 hours, as stable coins turned out to be not that stable after all.

The market is cyclical anyway and if this consolidation takes about a year, it is a good time to buy bitcoin regularly

This has been discussed many times and yet some people still don't apply the cost averaging method because nobody knows the bottom price of Btc. If you keep on watching the price to go lower than let's say $30k or $25k and eventually it did not happen, then you can't imagine how much opportunity you have missed. When you gradually buy everytime Bitcoin dip is the most safest thing to do not to miss the lower price coz finding a good entry point is always difficult.

Real people who are interested and willing to buy bitcoin buys at any giving time, if bitcoin goes dip they use it as an opportunity to buy more. the best time is the time you feel is right base on how much you are investing, how long you plan to hodl , what levels you plan to take profits. this will help you to make a concrete decision on when to buy. currently there is panic and majority feels that bitcoin can still go lower which is a good opportunity to buy lower if it happens. if you plan your investment very well you can buy at different levels.

Bitcoin is getting lower drastically in the past few days and still dipping currently. People who are looking to buy at lower price, this is the time for it. But nevertheless it can be bought at anytime and kept for later when the price goes up again to sale.

Everybody will expect that the worst is yet to come. This is what the market is telling that and we all should be prepared for that. The diamond hands as they say will remain and those that will panic has to look for a reentry once again.

Nah. This is not new but they already have this attitude ever since the btc world began but I don't think that there's more people that wait for the dip because I believe that there are more hodlers than the sellers. If there are the majority is wishing and waiting, that would only be the pump, nothing more nothing less. And are there anyone that panics? I cannot feel it anywhere, though there are only a few news or updates about the price but that was normal.

Cryptos are about money so it's important to monitor it's price very often. No one knows what is the bottom but this time is a perfect time to buy. If the price turns back to bull then congrats as you can earn some but sorry for those who didn't buy.

For every seller there's a buyer. Saying that people are afraid to buy now is pretty naive. It's just that in the recent days we had volume that exceeds the number of buy orders.

Think of it like this: there are companies that buy on regular basis. There are investors who dollar cost average and buy weekly or monthly, but all of them have certain limits. Say they all combined take out 1k BTC from an exchange per week. There are also people waiting for an opportunity like traders and they can technically put orders to catch the bottom for another 1k BTC. Then, suddenly 3k btc come in from some Wall Street fund that got liquidated on Amazon or Netflix and has to cover the balance with other things and they happen to have bitcoin so they dump it. The buyers cannot handle it now, even though they'd be able to do it given a few more weeks. That's why price falls, but it doesn't mean that it's at the panic level. It just gets thrown out of balance and needs time to get it back.

I agree that the sudden drop does matter a lot but it could be from the big names as well. Like hedge funds who used bitcoin as a reserve currency because they believed it would go up, saw that FED was giving good rates and took their money out, it is not an impossible thing and may have happened in the recent weeks.

This is why I believe that the going up will happen but it will not be as easy. We just need to wait for it, and there are tons of people who will keep on buying more and more and they will not stop no matter what the price is, I hope that those people end up becoming the majority again but we need a hype to add more people on that list.
