According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Top world coins says half oz 15 gram. But it looks big. Is it mixed with another metal. Or are my eyes deceiving me

unless there is a smaller version out there - it is 1 oz https://www.apmex.com/product/232305/2021-niue-1-oz-silver-my-first-capital-proofhmm - let me edit this. going to the link above, it claims the coin is indeed 1 oz however, in one of the images there is an image of the card that accompanies the coin - and it states it is a 40mm 1/2 oz .999 silver coin Mine is slabbed but I have roughly measured it to be 40mm this seems pretty large for a 1/2 ounce coin did the maker do both a 1 oz and a 1/2 oz coin? and the coa image is simply incorrect?

I'm pretty sure there is only 1 size- 1/2 oz and metal is Ag- fine silver (0.999). All the COA's I've come across seem to at the least have the following in common- 1/2 oz, Ag 0.999, and 40mm diameter. The coin didn't seem overtly or abnormally thin but just a little thinner than a coin of similar diameter with a 1 oz weight. My guess would be they traded 1/2 oz for selective gilding. OP updated with PCGS coin info link.

The Apmex link says the coin is 1 oz, 40mm. The top world says 1/2 oz, 40mm, and 15 grams. They look identical and possibly the the websites messed something up. The top world coin is also $15 cheaper. Either way its a great looking coin..

but whether it is a 1/2 oz or a 1 oz coin and whether its pure silver or a plated alloy - affects the price - regardless of looks - and that is more for the sites selling these openly vs here on the forums, though it has some effect here as well.
1/2 oz or silver plated alloy coin is far different than 1 oz coin
