It’s true.All the people was stuck with the current market situation.Luna was trusted coin for long,people had their huge amount of the dollars in the Luna.Maybe the people who had their Luna will cash out and invested in the bitcoin for the massive profit in a short period.The most important one of the traders have to hold their Luna,till it back his value into the old value.

Well if you are for the long term then BTC is still the best way to go.

And that's why it's hard to trust this stable coins, because we have seen what it can do the the market, including BTC. So everything is on the red because of what Luna did or suffered in the last couple of days. This scenario has been laid out though years ago against stable coin and now we have realized that it can easily be manipulated, depeg and then affect the market in general in a bad way.

Do Kwon was an egotistical asshole and this just serves him some instant karma imho. The LUNA ecosystem was always designed to fail like this given that in a depeg situation, the arbitrage mechanism essentially means that LUNA gets dumped on the market -> LUNA decreases in price -> further decreasing confidence that UST can stabilise.

Absolutely insane situation, but hopefully a lesson learned.

The supposed stablecoin are now facing its biggest drop and no doubt for this since the team failed on this one and they become more like a Ponzi scheme investment. This is very unfortunate to those who bought at the peak price and hold, I don’t know if LUNA can still be trusted by the investors or it will remain on this price level for now better to get out of LUNA and invest somewhere else. The manipulator for this coin is very powerful, I wonder what’s next for this project.

I lose money as well but not my whole savings because investments should not work like this, you don’t go all in because even Bitcoin can drop what more the altcoins?

I didn’t see this coming for LUNA, this is worst and imagine its time frame for the drop, just 72hrs and you already hit the bottom of the bottom, that’s alarming. The price may rise again but I think it will be more volatile, and it might not rise that much again, we’ll see. Just continue to monitor and if you are still holding, try to be more patient.

That's the other crypto that I'm saying where you can invest. It's the indicator and mover of the market so whenever bitcoin goes down, all of them follows but bitcoin will never go to zero or at least 98% of losses although it's truly volatile.

it is really sad to hear that , you have to take important decision with your investment in crypto market now, should you continue or stopped it. but we have to know crypto market not only about luna we still have another currency with high reputation and safety. maybe taking ethereum or bitcoin as main investment will have different condition.

First, sorry to hear you loss.  You should have invested only what you can afford to lose.  Investing in a unestablished crypto market is like gambling  so you should have prepared yourself for a massive loss when you invested in this kind of cryptocurrency.

It is a no brainer that investing in Bitcoin is one of the better idea.  Now that the BTC market price is crashing, window for investment opportunity opens.  If you have patience, investing in Bitcoin at this current market is the best move.

I am really sorry for your loss, as without a doubt it does not matter who you are such a loss is catastrophic for anyone, however it is because of this that the more experimented members of the forum advise people to only hold bitcoin for the long term.

If you want to trade altcoins and you are prepared to take the risk then that is fine, but you need to be willing to sell at the first sign that there is something wrong, after all there were signs that there was something wrong with LUNA since April, so people had more than a month to sell their coins and avoid being part of this disaster that has ruined the lives of many, as they were completely invested in the success of this coin and now they have lost everything.

It is a blood bath for all coins, but luna is bleeding even more, I am sorry for your lose but it's how crypto works. I don't know if Do Kwon could make his recovery plan a success and will be supported by his company investors to make luna stable , maybe he is just slowing the dumping process that's why he is constantly tweeting to luna holders. I don't know if that could even help them get up, some says that even he manage to get the funds, it won't be enough to the current immense sell off.

It is sad to lose some of your saving but at least you learn from it and will be knowledgeable on your next investment. After all, investing bis like a gambling where you are not sure if the project you are investing will grow or not (the same as what happened to LUNA. If you are planning to invest for long term then I will recommend investing in Bitcoin. I'm sure you know that Bitcoin could also decrease and last time I heard it's down to 5% and up again and down.

This is a crazy trend in the past days and no one sees that its going to happen which resulted to millions of money being liquidated in the market, I know its hard to see your portfolio like that but you have to move on and do better next time, its possible to see LUNA pump again and go back to its price, they need first to solve the issues and maybe have a better chance to pump again. Many lose their money on this, but then again you need to analyze now so you can know your next move.

If you have tried to invest your life savings in luna and you might have read whole of explanation about what algoritmic stable token was. It's your fault investing in the algoritmic stable token that backed by volatile asset like bitcoin. It doesn't make sense to see that happens. You may ask yourself why were you doing it in the past. Bunch of people are loosing their life savings due to this dump. The bad scenario is when the price needs years to recover from the bottom again.

the right choice if you invest bitcoin not in other coins if even other coins I think the coin is eth and BNB not on other stable coins
because if you invest in BTC the possibility of your money back and always worth is on the coin

BTC may be down today, but the probability of going up its prices is always there.
So for the OP, he can very well invest in BTC today while it is down, at least recover your losses from your other investments once the market is going green again.

Stable token is not risky as long as you were picking the right one that can keep its value. If you are picking the wrong stable token that used weird mechanism other than use fiat to backed it and the result will always be the same like that, i suggest you to avoid the stable token like this.

It's really sad, I also have some of my funds in UST and staked in Achor. I lost too much too from my deposit, it really hurts because you can earn 20% in a year but you lost more than 20% in just a short period of time. You should've stopped loss there, cut loss and move on. This is the worst loss I made in my whole life too.
But it's just money, we should not do things that will put us in danger, we can make them back again.

This happened so fast, I never expected what happened to Luna today, I, we, Luna investors have lost so much money in all of our portfolios. It's a sad situation, honestly our mentality is at stake here. I'm having a hard time thinking at the moment, I might try to win myself over first to decide something.
