Would you rather buy a house to live in or rent an apartment to invest in bitcoin  Since bitcoin is experiencing bear what decision will you take make use of the season or let it pass.

Houses and lots are eventually going to be more expensive as years passed. So, I guess that's kinda hard decision to make. However, If you're not settled with a family yet and still single then I guess you have a higher risk appetite for renting out an apartment and investment the rest to Bitcoin than those people who is married and have children, because the best investment you get for your family is a comfortable house.

Obviously it will be different for sure when we are married or not because when we haven't it seems we tend to be more daring in taking risks because we only think about ourselves,
indeed maybe this is a good time for us to take advantage of investing in Bitcoin,
it's not an easy thing to decide like that but to be wise it's better to adjust the priorities first

You should put 50% in bitcoin and the other half should be about the apartment or houses. As others say, don't put all the eggs in one basket, so it is better to spread them. This is also what I will do if I ever have enough money to invest in some land. This is just my suggestion. You really need to do your highest priority first, as you said, because that is the reason to choose what you will be investing in. Bitcoin is really risky, but it could make you a millionaire if ever the price goes to the moon.

I believe buying a house is rather a liability than an asset, as the valuation of a house is bound to decrease with time. This is not the case of bitcoin. SO for me if i get an opportunity to invest in bitcoin rather than buying a house, I will invest in bitcoin, The only exception is when o=property I am buying is bound to increase with time sunstantially enough that it seem lucarative.

I would personally prefer buying a house to renting so I would have something to invest in. I will prioritize the comfortability that a house could provide for me and my family. There are actually other ways to invest. It would be better to earn and save enough allocation for Bitcoin investment than to risk the chance of having a fully paid home. We have different perspectives and priorities but I guess the answers would depend on our personal preferences.

Dude, you've been here since 2016.  If you're truly the original owner of your account, you must have seen hundreds of threads like this one.  And it's why I put the entire Bitcoin Discussion section on ignore--threads with titles that ask for an opinion on an either-or choice are easy for shitposters to reply to, which is why they proliferate and drown out the meaningful threads.  It's nutty.

In the end, the members who create bitcoin vs. X threads probably aren't even interested in other people's thoughts, because I rarely see them post again in their threads.  These are also unnecessary, because do you think anybody cares what anyone else thinks about one investment over another?  I sure as hell don't.

I forgot to mention: buying a house as a rental property can be a really smart move, especially when rents and/or real estate prices are rising.  It's not exactly passive income, because you still have to be a landlord and deal with all the problems your tenants face, but they're still income generators.  Bitcoin isn't.  And yet, if I had enough money to buy a house, I wouldn't.  I might not buy bitcoin with all of the money, but I'd certainly buy a substantial amount.
Unfortunately, there are too many spammers and account changing in the crypto world. People are writing on bitcointalk just for writings sake and that is a big problem. I love signature campaigns and I love that we are still an active forum even after 10 years and there are some amazing people who are sharing amazing stuff.

I cannot name them all but you can see people who are getting a ton of merit and you are seeing how great they are doing. However, reality is that we are not really filled with those people at most, those are few people, whereas these type of accounts are the majority of the forum these days because of all the bounty campaigns.

Maybe I won't risk this too much because in reality anything can still go wrong in the future. We can't really verify that in the future the bitcoin price will be higher than the previous ATH. There may be hope, but we can't be sure.

If I were you, then buying a house would be the best way to go first than investing in high risk assets like bitcoin. You can buy a house and the rest you invest in bitcoins and it is much better than you have to rent an apartment in the hope that you will get a big profit in the next 1 to 2 years from your investment. So far I have 3 investment assets that may benefit me. First 25% in crypto, 35% in gold and the rest in land. In the long run I think these three investment assets will benefit me, so there is no need to force yourself to 100% invest in certain assets such as gold, bitcoin, or others.

I saw here different answers to questions raised by RockBell. How many people - so many different opinions can be heard. There is nothing surprising in this, because depending on the circumstances, everyone will have their own choice. I dare to assume that each of you will give completely opposite answers at different periods of your life, because priorities can change a lot over time. What was relevant yesterday may lose its significance and influence on decision-making today.

I am inclined to believe that it is impossible to give a definite answer to these questions.

The choice between buying a house and renting an apartment + investing in bitcoin is like choosing between fear and greed, stability and risks. What feeling will prevail, such a decision will be chosen.

Depends on what a person does really need on which there are some who do choose on investing options without having that house that would be bought but instead they would go for rent
but if we do really mind that practically then i would say having one or for yourself is much more wiser.Yes, you do need to sacrifice for some years before you could totally paid it up
in full which there are things which cant really be done but we know that if ever things goes as plan then there's no such thing to be late in terms of long term investment.
You might not able to ride up on earlier opportunities but doesnt mean that you cant engage with it.

For me personally, the better investment is obviously Bitcoin. But thats just my thought on the matter. I am not giving anyone investment advice.

A house is also an investment. Less risky during good times and very risky during bad times. But it is a long term investment and obviously better than renting a house or apartment and throwing money down the drain.

Bitcoin is a shorter term investment but if I had the money it will definitely go towards Bitcoin. The house just isn't as safe, since it is a physical thing that needs to be kept clean and always needs fixing. The returns will be smaller as well, depending on where you live.

The answer lies in your current status. Are you living with your parents, right now? If that's so and you have no other obligation, that's what I'll do if I'm not a family person as of the moment.
But if I'm a father and have a lot of responsibilities, I'll secure them a house and still will invest in bitcoin through dollar cost averaging. No need to sacrifice my comfort living just because I want to invest because I can do both of them but in a slow manner.

You are right but if you are living with your family and staying on an apartment then you would be surely be thinking on having your own house so that you would be cutting off those expenses that you've been paying for rent and here goes for another problem that needs to be solved where you do need to invest at the same time on which you could able to sustain yourself not only for your daily living but also in other means.
Some might really be thinking on having their own house but their finances arent really making them to do so which is something that really puts up us on a hard situation.

the best decision is that we have to have a house as a witness where we will paint the history of life with our family, and investing in the current market is very profitable in the long term but of course it must be with safe money not selling one of what we have like a house

To make our future life better, the thing we can do is to dare to take risks, namely investing in cryptocurrencies, high profit opportunities make anyone have the opportunity to change the economy, the most important thing after investing is of course being patient and not panicking.

I am a married person so my choice would be to have a stable home before thinking about investing. Bitcoin is a volatile investment, I cannot bet the safety of my wife and kids on bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a long term investment and even you will lose short term if you hold bitcoin so I will only invest when I have enough savings and the investment will not affect my family's daily life.

The best decision to make in my opinion that i will build my own house that is enough for me and the rest money i would invest on bitcoin hence we are now in  bear market seasons. With that I can save more rent fees and having a easy life without pressure and focusing on what i invested on bitcoin.

That's less in monthly obligation if you have your own house but, that would really require a huge chunk from your entire life savings and portfolio if you're about to purchase a house.
So, it does depend on the situation that you're facing. Think of it that you shall suffer right now but in the future, you'll be having the best days and easy days of your life when you're settled or be the opposite.

Buying a house is a life time investment that coming generations will always benefit from it, I will buy a house, I know I'll still get money to invest in bitcoin. It always available for one to invest at anytime,  some people if they missed the opportunity of buying a house when they have money, they may likely meet such opportunity I'm life again, it is better to secure the future first.

Would you rather buy a house to live in or rent an apartment to invest in bitcoin  Since bitcoin is experiencing bear what decision will you take make use of the season or let it pass.

That's right!. Most of us go to work, invest to make money and the first thing we will think about when we have money is to buy a house for ourselves. We buy houses not only for ourselves but also for our children and future generations. While it is not a profitable asset like bitcoin, it will stand the test of time and guarantee the future.

It's never too late to invest in bitcoin, the opportunity is always there. So secure your family's future first and then think about investing.

for me a house is the main need, but on the other hand investment is also a priority. therefore I will choose both by placing the portion of the allocation of funds mostly for homes, and partly for investing in cryptocurrencies, because nowadays it is easy to apply for housing loans as long as we do not have problems with banking. By choosing both, haven't we already diversified our assets, thus minimizing risk and we are comfortable living in a private home, so we can work optimally

I believe buying a house is rather a liability than an asset, as the valuation of a house is bound to decrease with time.
I don't  think buying a house or landed property will lose value after some time. In my city landed property and house appreciates price every year, a house that was sold for $18,000 5 years ago can be resell again for  $26,000-30,000 currently. This is the best physical investment that will always hard value from time to time.
