Bitcointalk is a community,  therefore it has structure, and rules guiding the users. So the quarterly analysis of Data is to know the areas of weakness and to know the areas of achievement which will help users to bring things out at the end of each quarter.

There are four quarters in a year. Which are:

1. First quarter is from January to March.

2. Second quarter is from April to June

3. Third quarter is from July to September

4. Forth quarter is from October to December.

The purpose of this thread is to know the total record  achievements in the forum by quarterly. So by the end of the year it will be very easy to sum them up.

Therefore, what are the achievements of the first quarter of the year?

Format

Code:

Most Active Moderators............... username..................The mod that responses to threads, comments, other activities and always check up his or her board (s) everyday.

Number of registered newbies..................

Number of Plagiarised users..............with username..

Number of tempban..........if you know any.......... username.......

Number of permaban..........if you know any.......... username.........

Best local boards by Fillippone..........He is to mention them

Is the forum policies are active?......... Yes or No............ Brief comment

What do you think the forum has achieve and the weakness in the first quarter of the year that is not mentioned?

Please first quarter is January to March. This has  already gone so I would like moderators to provide this.

I think the forum is designed in a way to not have these (or to have them but in different places).

Temp bans and perma bans for example can be found by going here: https://bitcointalk.org/modlog.php

A thread that's labelled as educative/interesting/unique might also support spam and is very subjective.

Cryptocurrencybrainboss [...] Fullippone

I think that you renamed them, OP. You should change these names with "CryptopreneurBrainboss" and, respectively, "fillippone". Spelling people's name incorrectly may lead to have them not being notified by bots for being mentioned but, above all, may also make people feel insulted.

Most Active Moderators............... username..................DdmrDdmr

DdmrDdmr is not a moderator, as far as I know...

Last, but not least:

How do you evaluate a mod's activity? By activity points...?
And how do you evaluate who is corrective? Or most educative threads? Or best local board? What makes a local board to be the best?

Don't take me wrong, but you need proper, objective and precise KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) defined for such evaluations...

Thank you very much for pointing out the few corrections.

That has been corrected.
But the bot you mentioned is not working by my end. I have been trying it for about one month to make sure I received alert but irony is the case. So I still prefer moderators and admin to create notification bar here in the forum.

DdmrDdmr is not a moderator, as far as I know...
Done

Last, but not least:
How do you evaluate a mod's activity? By activity points...?
The mods that response to threads, comments and always check up his or her board (s) everyday.

And how do you evaluate who is corrective?
That should be personal point of view. The above names are from my point of view. Personally, I have seen Lovesmayfamilis in beginners & help. Correcting newbies in their threads and also encouraging newbies not to give up from the forum. And also CryptopreneurBrainboss has corrected a lot of newbies in the forum mostly in the local board and english boards.
So I will want everyone to list theirs for the final sum up. The persons that make corrections and encourage newbies always. Please bring yours.

Or most educative threads?

The threads you learn something most and most exciting threads.

Or best local board? What makes a local board to be the best?

This column is meant for Fillippone's threads. Help me translate my best posts in your Local Board
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230761.0 from this thread he can select the most impressive translation from the local boards

Don't take me wrong, but you need proper, objective and precise KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) defined for such evaluations...
Yes. But the OP is for all the users in the forum. If anyone has data he or she should provide it base on the format provided.

Welcome! But there's more Smiley

But the bot you mentioned is not working by my end. I have been trying it for about one month to make sure I received alert but IRONY is  the case. So I still prefer Moderators and admin create notification bar here in the forum.

Better talk to bot's developer. Probably you're doing something wrong. Excepting that, no mod, nor the admin will create a notification bar for you.

And how do you evaluate who is corrective?
That should be PERSONAL point of view. [...]
So I will want everyone to list thier for the final sum up. The persons that make corrections and encourage newbies always. Please bring yours.

So there is no KPI involved, just subjectivity. OK, I understand now.

Or most educative threads?
The threads you learn something most and most exciting Threads.

I believe that here you also imply just subjectivity and no KPI, right?

Or best local board? What makes a local board to be the best?
This column is meant for Fillippone's Threads. Help me translate my best posts in your Local Board
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230761.0 from this thread he can select the most impressive translation from the local boards

I am sorry, but I see absolutely no connection between the quality of translations made by some users for fillippone's topics and having a local board named "the best" based on that. For example, a local board may have a very low activity and yet, a user active in that board, to make a flawless translation for fillippone's topic(s). How would that make the respective board to be "the best"?

And what made you choose those translations to be the criterion for having a board to be "the best"? I am sorry, I do not understand. Furthermore: have you ever asked fillippone if he would agree with such decision? I highly doubt that he would agree, as he would see also no connection between a good translation and naming a local board as "the best".

And what does this "the best" actually mean? The best from what point of view? How do you define "the best"?

OP, you should be a bit more rational or logic, if you like to do a statistic like this. You need clear criteria for your fields.

Besides that, if you want to be taken seriously, you also need to spell the words correctly. Your topic and posts are full of typos and grammar errors (you use capital letters for some words, when it's not the case; you use double spaces sometimes between words; you spell wrong users' names; you spell wrong various words; you do not write dots (".") at the end of sentences; you use incorrectly the quote system etc.).

These are some examples:

1. Wrong use of quote system: in your reply to me you tried to quote me, but a part of my reply was quoted, while the other was not.

2. Double space (between "is" and "the") and incorrect use to capital letter (for "Moderators" -- this term could be written with low caps "m"):

I have been trying it for about one month to make sure I received alert but IRONY is  the case. So I still prefer Moderators and admin

3. Incorrect use of capital letters ("Mods", "Thread" and "Board") + missing logic at the beginning of the sentence:

The Mod's that is response to Threads, comments and always check up his or her Board (s) everyday.

Probably, here you wanted to write "Mods' evaluation is based on they way they respond inside threads, on their comments and on their activity inside their boards".

But the way you wrote the first part of the sentence makes no sense in English - "The Mod's that is response to Threads". What does that mean?

4. Spelling error:
So I will want everyone to list thier for the final sum up

The word is "their", not "thier"

Number of pamban..........if you know any.......... username.........

Perhaps you wanted to write "permaban"?

Number of temban..........if you know any.......... username.......

Perhaps you wanted to write "tempban"?

Number of Plagiarised users..............with username..

Perhaps you wanted to write "plagiarist users"?

Is the forum policies are active?......... Yes or No............ Brief comment

What does "Is the forum policies are active?" mean in English? This sentence makes no sense.

I would like modirators to provide this.

Modirators...?

The most educative Threads?................... username... with link.. ogNasty

His username is OgNasty, not ogNasty...

Second Quarter.... loading

Here you used four dots, instead of three. The punctuation symbol "..." has only three dots.

Look, OP: again, don't take me wrong. But when you write a topic or a post, you should also re-read it prior submitting the post. Check your writing for proofreading; correct the typos; correct the various errors you may encounter. Never write a bunch of words and then immediately click on "Post", without checking first what you just wrote.

And when you are using the "Preview" function, you can see that the text editor underlines (with a red line) the words which are spelled incorrectly. Correct those ones, at least. Or use another text editor, with dictionary set to English.

Writing the way you do looks just like a mess, no matter if you even have a good idea. And, if you want to have the chance to be taken seriously or into consideration, you should present, at least, a correct text. If you'd read a book full of spelling errors, what would you think / do? Wouldn't you say "Who is the underclassman which wrote this junk?", then throw it away? What I want to say is that, if you write like that there are high chances that users will also not even read your posts. Who would lose time for reading some gibberish?

I understand that you may not be an English native (if you are, the situation is even worst, as you are supposed to know your own language); many users from here are not English natives as well. But they make efforts to have correct writings. At least to use the text editor from "Preview" function... You may never have a text typo-free. But, at least, if you have just a few and minor ones, you can show that you tried, at least, to write a good and correct text.

There's actually no way in SMF to view which moderator deleted a particular topic, but the record of deleted posts is available in the modlog. It's mixed with bans though, so maybe you need to cross-reference with some auxillary tool that separates them (does LoyceV have a tool for that?)

I don't understand what OP is trying to do here at all.  This thread is just bizarre and confusing.  Take this for example:

So the quarterly analysis of Data is to know the areas of weakness and to know the areas of achievement which will help users to bring things out at the end of each quarter.
The part in bold just does not compute.  There's never been a need for anything OP is suggesting, and it's perplexing to me as to why a relative newcomer would propose all of this crap.

There are four quarters in a year. Which are:
Whew.  If you hadn't written them out, I would have had no idea which months were in each 12-month calendar year.  OP, just stop with this merit phishing.

Lolz.. you know quite well everyone is looking for avenue to make something exceptional from others. So op tried to put something different from the community, without organizing them in order. From the beginning of op composition to the end is confusing and annoying. So let us bear with op and say it's part of learning....lol.

Whew.  If you hadn't written them out, I would have had no idea which months were in each 12-month calendar year.  OP, just stop with this merit phishing.
When you divide one (1) year into two, is six (6) months, while per annual is twelve (12) months.. then op continue to split the months per quarter in order to have ambiguous thread.. from my perspective it's improper. It's better to create a short thread with proper understanding and nice view, than creating a thread that's not supportive.

I'm not a "modirator". You're literally linking to my topic, which shows where to find the data you're looking for. If you're trying to earn Merit this way, you're failing miserably. Why do you call banned users an achivement anyway?

I don't understand what OP is trying to do here at all.
I'll take a guess: he needs 8 Merit to become Full Member.

Lol, now it figures... Somehow I missed this detail. Probably he needed to make further explanations, about how each month is divided in weeks, how weeks are divided in days, how days are divided in hours (and so on), in order to obtain the 8 merits. But like that, explaining just how the year is divided in quarters, it's not 8-merits-worthy at all.

I think we're fine with the public voting in the yearly awards, while they aren't entirely accurate they do bring something to the community, and also motivate users to get better. No need for quarterly achievements.

I guess if you want to see the best threads or what not you can check the merit statistics which show the most recent highly merited threads, and also replies. That's probably the only way we could measure it, and even then that's subjective.

The mods that response to threads, comments and always check up his or her board (s) everyday.
This isn't a very good indicator of moderators that are active in terms of how much work they're doing behind the scenes. Honestly, some of the moderators aren't very active in posting, but they're kicking arse behind the scenes. So, these recognitions, and awards are always rather biased to those that are posting regularly in the public eye. The reality is most moderators are doing a ton of work, and only theymos really knows the numbers behind it.

I am very sorry for creating this thread. I was trying to divide the forum achievements by quarterly for easy understanding from the following format.

The most educative threads?...................The ones you learn something more

Even "The Waste Land" nothing is wasted. People learned things from it

I brought this thread for public opinion for data collection for quarterly publication of information and to know how many users were banned, the total number of registered newbies in each quarter, and other things but the thread is seen to be caricature.

Some accused me of hunting merit with the thread. But I want to thank God that upon all the rubish, there is sense in it.
