Amigacoin seems a good concept and I think there is likely to be a demand for something like it in future. The "retro" computer scene has never been more alive, with new Amiga hardware projects surfacing all the time ... and also with ongoing OS projects like MorphOS and AROS that will likely continue onto new generations of cheap ARM based hardware. I think it will make a lot of sense for the Amiga community to have its own coin/token and and more so as crypto becomes increasingly mainstream. Are there any plans for future development? The website is down I have messaged the developer but not received a response as yet. From the non-response it seems like the dev of Amigacoin has left the building, although I am eager to be wrong. Is there any community support for continued development of this coin? Does anyone have ideas of what would be the best way forward? My ideas would include:* (re)establish a new Amigacoin website/announcement * Pay for someone to update the codebase and, * Switch to merge mining with Litecoin, instead of solo scrypt mining. After that we could:* start a bounty program for anyone contributing to Amigacoin and the Amiga scene in general (and there are many). * establish a Lite wallet with compatibility aimed at OWB browser or standalone app, usable in AROS/Morphos and even on classic Amiga hardware. These are just thoughts... but to me, it seems a slight on our computing heritage if we let this coin fade to nothing... Honestly, I think the dev should let us know what they want to see happen.Let me know if anyone is here! Amiga users make Mac users look like IBM users... And I was all of those

The Retro Hour podcast is a weekly retro gaming podcast from the UK that I listen to, and they have recently started accepting Bitcoin donations to support their show, which I think is pretty cool! If you are still into the Amiga then it's a great podcast to listen to. They've had some incredible guests and if you have any interest in the Amiga then you should be very interested in their show. Please, show them some love with a small Bitcoin donation. Who knows, if Amigacoin gets it's act together then maybe one day they will accept donations in Amigacoin too!

Is the dev of AGA still active or has he abandoned his project? I was thinking of a community takeover if there is no response. As an Amiga fan I would love to see this coin get back on track.

The developer (sonountaleban) did respond to me a few months ago but to my discredit I did not take time to reply back to him until today. He said that he is (or was) the only developer of AGA and closed the amigacoin.org website due to lack of funds and lack of interest from the community. He also said that source code for the project can be found here https://github.com/sonountaleban/amigacoin and https://github.com/sonountaleban/aminerI am hoping that he won't let the amigacoin efforts go to waste and will allow the community to take over the running of the site and further development of the code. Does anyone know how many coins are in circulation already?

Perhaps it's just that no one have been mining since yesterday? I got a bit of burn from someone saying they would update the Cthulhu Offerings wallet and all that came out of it was a useless wallet that doesn't sync so excuse me if I'm a bit wary about unknown wallet fixers showing up out of the blue I'll keep an eye on the progress though.

I've just added AGA to my revamped miningpool. Do realize that the current code in AGA has a diff adjustment every 1440 blocks, so it can take a while to find a block unless some serious hashingpower is used. http://aga.coincave.nl

Looks like Cryptopia is in a fork. They have a block height of 503k something while most nodes I come across seems to currently have 514287. I have notified them of the problem.
Here is a node if you're having trouble finding any. 109.201.140.97:22112

Amigacoin is a very great name for a coin. It reminds me to the good old childhood days, where everything was so easy. There were so many great games and i spent so many hours playing my amiga.

They're not on a fork, just way behind. I also sent them several messages informing them about the issue. My miningpool is also at the correct height. http://coincave.nl

My miningpool is also at the correct height. http://coincave.nlOk, that zero connections don't look good though. I tried to withdraw 10000 the other day as a test. Still haven't arrived. How about its algorithm, dev? You only mentioned about block rewards, block time, etc. By the way, neccessary information about the project did not mention in the OP. Please update it if possible.
Algorithm is scrypt, dev seems to have lost interest in the project so I don't think we can expect an update anytime soon.
