I'm currently revising the old trusted altcoins and came to a conclusion that LTC is an undervalued asset class. Litecoin is not viable anymore for this time. Bunch of new tokens in the market more scalable compared with litecoin. We didn't even need litecoin anymore. That's only speculators who are still believing if the litecoin has a chance to become another silver again. I see no reason to buy this coin rather than speculating about the pump that can comeanytime. I personally think  if litecoin is not a silver again and this will never reach top 5 again. The era for the old coin already ended.
You need to open with the new tokens that came to the market.

We are moving forward and the technology is innovating, what can Litecoin possibly give that the other new tokens with better functionality and mechanism can give, Litecoin's glory days are over but its good to see that it is still at the top 20 and there are still many online companies using it, the only possible way to get into the top again is getting pump like Dogecoin maybe by Elon or some other big personality in the Crypto community.

IMO, and Honestly speaking I'm not convinced anymore that Litecoin will regain its former status as the silver standard next to Bitcoin because if we examine closely the crypto market lately there are a lot of new Blockchains with competitive coins armed by multiple use cases and backed by a strong community of users and investors thats why I believe Litecoin was already behind in the race especially more on "technical aspect" thats why for me, it was not really an undervalued coin. so I guess we must ride with the flow so that we are not tied up with the past.

I don't think there will be a place in the top 5 positions of CMC for LTC because I see LTC winning is no longer worth investing in long term but if you want to play in the short term I think you can still make a profit

Not only LTC, but also DASH, XMR the first top coins that I think it is very difficult for them to go back to their heyday. Cryptocurrencies are always innovating and elimination is harsh, new projects will always perform better and grow than old ones.

While we will no longer see hype around them, they are still being traded and used. If bitcoin is seen as a safe haven during a bear market then I think older coins like LTC can also be seen as a haven during this bear season.

No, I don't think so. Also sold my LTC like a over a year ago.
There's no turning back now, we have seen new projects and learned more how crypto could be so stretchable in different fields.
I'd invest in blockchain or exchange, a little old but it's still in the trend.
But if you want to be in the real brand new things, the gaming industry could be a good investment. With the mountain of gamers now it will be easy to pump it as long as it's a good game.

I never thought for LTC with a better place now because at this time there are many competitors that LTC must beat in order to get a better place in CMC, because to get into the top 5 cryptocurrencies in CMC is not an easy matter for any cryptocurrency except for cryptocurrencies that already have a lot of enthusiasts with very large volumes and that doesn't only apply to old altcoins.

Litecoin undervalued? Any price above $0 is overvalued for things like Litecoin, Dogecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV and every other fork or copy of bitcoin. Not that I'm disagreed with hard forking, but whoever began all of those coins had no intention to promote censorship-resistance and financial sovereignty whatsoever. Presumably, he did it for fun, or to make a quick buck in a smart way.

Fortunately, we've escaped from this "digital silver" gibberish, please don't bring it back. If only the problem with scaling could be resolved with solving blocks more frequently, that is in litecoin.

it thing its actually as sleeping giant in crypto market, looks from outside have no developtment progress at all but if we looking this chain technology alot potency could improved here. maybe first with lightning network and followed by another breakthrough or maybe build own smart contract platform  , litecoin could be on top 5 cmc later. honestly its better than other chain but unfortunately popularity still under top 5 cmc.

There is always a chance that someone will make a pump at the LTC price, but I'm afraid this project is a thing of the past. For at least two years I have not seen any development going on around this project. It seems the community is also shrinking every month and week. Sometimes I still use Litecoin to make cheap transfers, but it seems that the low fee is becoming the only usefulness of this coin. It is unlikely to be enough to bring the coin back to the top 5 on Coinmarketcap.

Even if I think that LTC has potential, it does not matter to the public who are putting bets on shitcoins and NFTs. For them quick and easy gains are more important that the legacy or technology behind something.

The only old trusted coin you need to buy is bitcoin. Rest of them have mostly gone down in the last few years. Still if you have some LTC left lingering in your wallets, keep those for a last stand selloff.

Beyond that I dont see anything big happening with LTC unless something big in terms of development happens in their labs. For trading, it is good for pumping and dumping by investors, most of whom are found in the r/LTCmarkets channel, makes it look like a group of wankers.

LTC should not return to the top 5. We need utility token rather than a coin that called itself as a silver in the crypto while it has no utility usage. This coin is over rated. Bitcoin was gold and yeah i do agree with it but calling this as a silver in the crypto is a non sense thing. I prefer to call this as a garbage coin instead of legit coin. The holders got nothing from holding this coin. What a useless coin. People are using this as payment system while mostly of the new tokens in the market can be used as payment system as well.
Look at how balenciaga was accepting so many new crypto as payment system. this is over valued coin.

LTC already deserves its current ranking and position considering the fact that there are many altcoins that are just better and deserving of the higher ranks.
frankly the market of cryptocurrencies are being dominated by the smart contract platform I just see no chance of any other coin that aren't smart contract platform in dominating the market again.
even all these altcoins are already efficient enough that it could be used for some complicated things like blockchain gaming that requires intensive and powerful platform.

I think Litecoin has potential but not that huge when ETH and other good project isn't around.  I think Litecoin had already passed its prime, unless someone is willing to pump it hard, we cannot see the old good days of Litecoin.

No one knows if it would really be able to regain that spot in talks about LTC.Its true that we do really have that cycle but knowing that demand would be always be the main key then its really hard to make out

presumptions for a certain coin to climb up the ranks without seeing that demand that i've been talking into which it is really that hard to make out those kind of predictions but well, there's always a chance
but dont anticipate because it all matters on communities recognition on which project they would be mainly be supporting and which is not.

It will be hard for LTC to come back on an Top 5 position but one thing is for sure, LTC will stay and it will pump as well along with other altcoins. If you think LTC is undervalued right now then buy some because when the market recovers for sure LTC will also recover. If there’s more good updates with LTC then new ATH might happen, it’s just a matter of time before we see that, LTC remains active though and that’s a good sign.

In my opinion, no. LTC lost its former popularity and now other projects with developing ecosystems like Solana, Polkadot, Avalanche, etc. are collecting billions. Stablecoin sector is actively develops too, there are 2 projects in top 10 already. When was the last serious update of Litecoin? I do not keep track of its development and I don't see news about it that often. Maybe something will happen when Litecoin has a new version of the blockchain, but the competition is still tough.
