Hi I am new to this and have invested in FX-chain and a month later I am trying to withdraw money and there is a issue paying into my TAP account.
FX are asking for money up front for chargers to release the money and then asking me to send them more money to release a blocked amount coming into my wallet?
Has anyone else been scammed by FX-Chain?

I don't know what the FX-Chain thing is — but the way you describe it, it sounds like a typical scam. They're pretty much just asking you to send more money so they can siphon as much money as they can from you before they just run away with the funds. Sorry bud.

Not on Coinmarketcap

I checked Trustpilot review which may not give accurate information sometimes but not in this case. Only one person that rate the site on Trustpilot.

https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/fx-chain.com

I will advice you not to use this site because it is like scam. The way you described it, I will not think about it two times to conclude that the site is a scam.

What good report? From Trustpilot, the link I posted above? It is only just one review that you called good report, it can be the owner of the site that has the review. Avoid that exchange to avoid you not to be scammd.

Many of these platforms were built to last for a while and then move on with people's money after they've met their goals. You must learn about cryptocurrencies and conduct extensive research into the types of projects to invest in as well as the exchanges you will use to purchase your crypto assets if you are new to crypto trading and investment. There are reputable exchanges where one can feel safe when trading. Exchanges like Binance and Kucoin have a great reputation, and it is recommended that you choose one of them.

I sound like a broken record by now — but when using any service that's going to require you to deposit money (inside and outside the cryptocurrency space), always stick to the well-known and reputable ones.

Don't send them any more money. Asking you to send money so that you can withdraw your money is a very common scam. There is no reason why they can't deduct a withdrawal fee from the withdrawal.

They may give you some complicated reasons, but don't just accept their reasons without verifying them. Post them here.

The profit I have earned on Algo trading and special trades has been very good but the problem has been withdrawing the funds  Sad

They tell you the profits have been good only because they want you to give them more money. There are no profits.

Thanks for your help everyone, looks like I have been scammed for £25,000!!!! Is there any way I can get this back?

When I asked about deducting fees from my account as opposed to me paying them upfront I got the following reply

"The fees cannot be deducted from your account as the funds are being held in a segregated accounts"

I presume this is all part of the scam! They did pay me back 250USD a few weeks ago, I wanted to make sure I could make a withdrawal before I put more money in.

Because the Crypto transfer is getting blocked and apparently now returned they are sending me a international bank transfer today which can take 3 days, I have asked for proof from the bank that should come this morning.

They are still answering the phones and e-mails so at some point I guess it will all go quiet

Report it to the authorities. It's very likely that it will amount to nothing, but you really have nothing to lose by trying.

Also, probably report this to the likes of Binance and such. Maybe you get lucky and the scammers end up sending the funds over to major exchanges like Binance. Don't get your hopes up though.

There are common sites you can use for trading like Binance, OKX, Coinbase and many like that, it is good to do a research about an exchange before you will send your coins to an address given to you by the exchange, they will not refund you any money, it will just in a way you can deposit byit can not withdraw.

I will advice you to consult your lawyer for help, but do not think you can recover back you money, the probability is low, if you pay in bitcoin or altcoin, it may not be traceable and the money is just gone. But if you have money for investigation, you can report to your lawyer.

Avoid not to be scammed twice, you may see some recovery services online that they will say they can help you, they only want to scam you too.

I looked through their crypto selling pitch on the site, claiming to make 95% average weekly returns. What can go wrong sending money over to them …

They’ve got at least one site with close resemblance:
Quote
https[colon]//fxbullion[dot]com/
Different name, yet the crypto algo sections miraculously match and list the same three testimonials (the ones from a "Dantist", a Promoter and a Bussiness man).

Normally it’s easier to find at least a handful of cloned sites with slight variations, although I’ve only managed to come across the above referenced site. The modus operandi is unfortunately well known, where by you are asked to pay further sums in order to retrieve your funds, using some half-baked excuse about taxes or fees. Obviously, if you pay, you’ll engross the loss even further.

FX are asking for money up front for chargers to release the money and then asking me to send them more money to release a blocked amount coming into my wallet?
This will continue forever unless you just give up and accept that you have been scammed.  They will likely continue to find reasons even after the second payment to ask for even more money due to further 'complications'.  The only true complication is the scam you will get into and the loss you will have to take after getting scammed.

FX-Chain sounds so much like any of these latest scam 'Exchanges'.  Random DM's or Telegram messages telling you how much money you can make from a small investment on their Exchange.  Next time look for a reputable website to send money to, not a random one.

Damn! Losing £25.000 sucks no matter what your financial situation is. What I would like to know is how did you even come across that FX Chain (whatever that is supposed to be)? I would recommend you reconsider your online activities that led you to start sending money to those scammers and be exposed to such scam opportunities.

I tried to do a Google search on FX Chain and the results show audio software.
Searching for "FX blockchain" suggest a project called Function X. But that's not it, is it? That token is listed and is trading on several exchanges.

For a website to ask you to deposit money in order to "unlock" your money is usually a scam and they'll never give out your original deposit,so its better to cut your losses and move on stop thorwing more money at them

May be so they give you a false image of trustworthiness.  They have nothing to lose.  You do.  They already won once by scamming you out.

I have to admit, this website looks slick, clean and legit at the very first glance.  But it is nowadays easy and pretty cheap to pay for websites that look slick enough and provide a fancy, pleasant UI.  I personally can not find anything about this FX Chain however, but I do suspect it is a complete scam.

I also wonder how did you end up investing this much money in a website nobody has heard about before.  Did you get a DM from a fancy Asian girl who told you about this FX Chain by any chance?

No more explanation needed, this is a good example of scam projects that use same idea to wake up the greed in humans, you make those money daily till you reach a payment threshold and the next thing is to ask investors to send money for the account to released, including the fund 🤦‍♀️.
