The first gas station to accept Bitcoin in my region

This is so looking beautiful,  seeing this alone can trigger me to buy petrol when I don't really need it. Am excited getting to see how bitcoin is expending to do with business like this. Am very convinced me that in short time, all this won't be common to people again, it will be adopted as a tradition to many businesses.

I don't think the adoption will be easy as you say, I wonder how many customers have made payments in bitcoins at Op station so far. If the numbers are up to 20, I will be very impressed cause I used to think it will be difficult for Bitcoiners to spend their bitcoins buying gas. You seem very enthusiastic about it, which is a good sign that we have people who are willing to spend their bitcoins for everyday services.

But this initiative is already a great start to introduce crypto to consumers.

I doubt many would use bitcoins to make a purchase unless they are given an incentive to buy with bitcoins like a discount. Everyone loves to buy cheap, I think giving discount prices or gifts to customers paying in Bitcoin will be the deal breaker.  Lightning network would be best to use, transactions are faster and cheaper. You wouldn't want customers waiting five minutes for their transaction to be confirmed.

^ This should be implemented when an establishment like this gas station will accept BTC because it needs fast transactions like 1-2 minutes.
Unlike those coffee shops or restaurants that there is a reason for them to wait like an hour or more than 30 minutes because while waiting they will enjoy their food. Gas stations should be quick transactions and LN should be necessary to apply. However, I want to congratulate them and their country because they are open-minded now on BTC, I hope my country do the same in your country.

Yes you are right, if there will be some store or some establishment that will offer a bitcoin payment for every transaction that you will make, I rather use fiat, we all know that these coins are volatile, maybe use usdt instead? or usdc the less likely coins to change the price everyday. I rather hold this bitcoin for investment and trading and use fiat for everyday use.

Initiating bitcoin payment is the first step to campaigning about bitcoin and a good boast to improving bitcoin adoption. We hope to see more adoption, next is to study closely the response to the bitcoin payment option using a good data analysis tool this could stand as a powerful research to preferring better ways of sensitizing more audience on bitcoin as an alternative payment option and how to go about owning bitcoin in the first place.

Also, they need to check how are the sales going on after the implementation of bitcoin payment ?

It's a nice initiative, this is another dimensions of uplifting your gas plant in terms of investment via bitcoin, it's rall to see a gas plant across the nation that funds bills with cryptocurrency and more especially bitcoin. Actually this will give rise for expansion of bitcoin values and adoption within the geographical region... I applaud you for your station management initiative.

Only if the companies realise that customers use cryptos regularly they will be accepted by other companies. The problem however with gas prices is that they are exceptionally high right now. The Russia Ukraine war will keep pushing energy prices upwards, resulting in new levels of inflation. In a high inflation environment I would recommend to use fiat money rather than crypto money. Also bitcoins are really cheap right now, I would not sell mine at 30,000 USD.

using both in payment is the best obsession, because when the price is as it is today maybe for small holders is the most important thing but for those who incidentally are big holders using a little means nothing

I thought Nigeria banned the decentralized cryptocurrencies because they already launched e-naira also announced people to change their savings into their cbdc as soon as possible then how it really possible to accept Bitcoin in the fuel station?

Well, Cryptocurrency is actually not Banned in Nigeria it is just the financial institutions that are restricted from allowing crypto trading but thousands of Nigerians still trade cryptocurrencies daily and a major crypto exchange like Binance has been sponsoring major TV programs in the country, however, it is a good step seeing a thing like this happening to bring more exposure to Bitcoin in the country.

Thumbs up, dude! That's the right way to go – spread it everywhere we go! This is part of the reason I like youngsters (not old men) getting to run affairs heavily populated by the young. For instance example, the polity. Young people understand this modern happenings. Old men seldomly know how to grapple with new techs. Your innovation is in order. I hope you know that Bitcoin was only restricted by banks which was a memo from the Central banks and never ban totally. Peer-to-peer is allow which is the reason why Binance and other cryptocurrency exchanges are still in operation. Don't think like an pessimistic person but rather in less than no time, the government will allows individual deposits and withdrawal through different banks.

This is just the beginning of opting into payment through Bitcoin and I know I will drop more updates about it soon or later. People are getting to know more about Bitcoin and the awareness is growing gradually.

Bitcoin is a digital currency that is decentralized for peer-to-peer transactions. I see Bitcoin has a normal currency just like fiat that is used for daily transactions of goods and services. I am a lover of Bitcoin and I am very passionate about it even though it is volatile but also a good investment for long term holders. There is great opportunity for holders to benefit as the market fluctuate from one price to another.

As the new elected manager of my gas station, I have successfully initiate the use of Bitcoin as an alternative payment to help advocate and promote the use of great digital currency called  BTC. I am a Bitcoin lover and I intend to encourage the use in my local region so customers can pay and get to know about it. I see Bitcoin as both investment and a currency and the company can make more if we hold it in respective of the market conditions.

I know how challenging it can be to introduce an option for payment in Bitcoin, but with time customers may prefer it to fiat in respective of the network fee. It was never easy for me to convince the board about having an option for payment in Bitcoin, and I am happy for the enormous knowledge I was able to gather here and those that advised me on making this a success.
