I myself also think not to leave the market even though it is bearish. because I don't want to lose the opportunity to buy at a lower price. with the DCA method. so I need to continue to monitor the market regularly so I don't miss a good opportunity to buy gradually. and also to maintain my portfolio so as not to suffer further losses if the market seems to be going down deeper.

And indeed fraud is becoming more common in new projects that emerge. so I myself chose not to enter the presale on a new project during a bear market like now. because the risk is too high.

The bear market is not really the correct moment to take unnecessary risks, it is true some coins will go up in value even during a bear market, but since they are an exception rather than the rule then it is simply not worth to take a risk right now and invest in them.

It is way better to take the safest path which is to invest in bitcoin and simply hold your coins, once the bull market appears again then you can begin to wonder if you want to take greater risks and invest in some altcoins, however it seems the day we will see another bull market is still distant so it is better to not even think about it for the moment.

It all depends upon the projects you have invested. If you have invested in good projects with utility then it will rally during the next rally, if not it will eventually die off like we used to see in the past. There were projects that had all the hype during the last rally and then during the bear market most of the projects died off and some that were still surviving had to do something in order to gain the momentum during the last years rally.

The bear market is a very critical time in Crypto-currency, it’s a time where many enthusiast has to make critical and decisive decision that could make or break them, a more recent example is Luna, I have a friend who bought Luna during the dip because his favorite Crypto-currency influencer who lost huge money bought more even Terra Luna, and later on my friend would end up regretting that decision that’s what the bear market can cause it’s a period of confusion and also believe in the sense that many see it as an entry point and confusion in the sense that they don’t know which coin to go for.

During a bear phase of the market it is not advisable to invest in new ico that will almost all be bankrupt but in my opinion it is advisable to devote yourself to trading with which you can make a profit even when the market goes down with scalping

During a bear market, almost every new project is going to fail immediately.
The funds required for the startup to begin will not be there, investors will not fill the presales, and scams will rule.

You cannot expect for the market to be good to you if you don’t see it’s real value and that what are more valuables are the big opportunities we start to see at the bear market. Although a lot have been fearing when bearish season attacks the market because there will be possible losses and less opportunities to become profitable, but that’s not the right way how our mindset should be. Instead, let’s get rid of losses if possible and always take advantage whatever opportunities this bearish market brings.

I would probably panic if I had never experienced a bear market before, but because I have experienced bear markets several times. In my opinion,
what happened in 2018 is still the worst, so when there is a bear market in 2022, I'm not worried at all. Because I know that a bear market is
only temporary, therefore we don't need to worry about the current bear market. In fact, I view the bear market from the positive side, meaning that
the bear market is indeed an opportunity for us to buy coins at low prices.

Moreover, what you say about Bitcoin is absolutely true, compared to altcoins, Bitcoin is the safest to buy during a bear market. Because Bitcoin is

When bear market occur many investors are thinking negatively. They dont want the value of their coins to see decreasing because it makes them to panic and sell at loss. Then when the price started to become bullish again thats when they will start to buy again not knowing the past bear market is the good timing to buy establish coins. Some of us prefer to engage ourselves once the bear market is over and not seeing the positive side of the bearish market. Because thats a good time to fill our bags, dont just look on the negative side because there's always good in every situation like the title of op, depending on how we approach it.

Even though we have analyzed the project, we do not necessarily find the right project and will actually provide high profits when listing. In my opinion bear market is a waste of time. Because in the time of bear market, most of the new projects are failed. Promoters promote these projects for a long time and get nothing in the end.
However, many investors are taking the bear market as an opportunity and making a profit from it.

Investing in the big market capitalization altcoins at around bearish is like the best decision out there, considering the fact that these kind of altcoins gonna be recovering in no time if the bullish finally coming.
instead, investing in a newly emerging project could be a massive disaster, after all the quality might differ a lot.
So basically, it's just better investing in a altcoin that's already quite famous than just betting your money in an altcoin that's just emerging, but I guess the latter could definitely gives higher return of investment.

Without a doubt this is not really the moment to begin to invest in risky projects which have a very low chance of succeeding, however many traders came to the market with that idea in mind and it is not going to be easy for them to change their goals even during the current circumstances, which means those people will lose a massive amount of money because they are using the most risky strategy they can at the worst possible time.

Fundamentally, this should be the prior importance.  Utility, development, and community, these three hold the major factor in a success of a project.


To those who think and look at the bear market in a pessimist way, it may be a waste of time because they are too blind to see the opportunity hidden in those price crashes.  They tend to put their energy on whining rather than looking for the possible benefits of discounted sales.  So yeah I agree with the title, depending on how a person approach the bear market, it can be a waste of time or a season of opportunity.

All is about our perspective and point of view. Pessimistic people will think this is the end of crypto, we should sell and leave crypto.
But the Opportunistic people will always take any opportunity even in this bear market. They buy and accumulates during this phase, and patiently wait for crypto hype again in few years later.

It is good in both ways, bear market and bull market have different role in crypto and they are vital in terms of balancing the market. It's not always a win win for all of us. It is not a wasteful time for me even though my holding is not in good shape, it is time to buy and hold because I think bull market is coming by next 2-3 months I guess.
