Bear Market Can Be A Waste Of Time or Useful Depending on How We Approach It

All is about our perspective and point of view. Pessimistic people will think this is the end of crypto, we should sell and leave crypto.
But the Opportunistic people will always take any opportunity even in this bear market. They buy and accumulates during this phase, and patiently wait for crypto hype again in few years later.

In this case, there are 3 options for behavior in a bear market:
you buy coins at a reduced price;
you are fixing a loss;
you continue to hold coins, waiting for the price to recover.
And only the first option is preferable in a bear market, but it is only for those who have sold their coins at a high price in a timely manner.

Besides the new cryptocurrencies, from my perspective, I'd look more at cryptocurrencies that hold utility, keep developing and have a serious community.

Fundamentally, this should be the prior importance.  Utility, development, and community, these three hold the major factor in a success of a project.


To those who think and look at the bear market in a pessimist way, it may be a waste of time because they are too blind to see the opportunity hidden in those price crashes.  They tend to put their energy on whining rather than looking for the possible benefits of discounted sales.  So yeah I agree with the title, depending on how a person approach the bear market, it can be a waste of time or a season of opportunity.

So many, people see this negative as in the first place they don't understand how the crypto market works. But I'm not going to blame them either as there are 3 kinds of people around

 - neutral/undecided
 - negative mindset

But from what I see, many people belong to the negative mindset. I could still remember many people saying Bitcoin is a scam. And no way they will see crypto in a positive view...

Yes its called washing out the weak hands and fake projects... beat you down get you used to a new high and then beat you down again until you can't take anymore.... then and only then will we start to climb back up. Have a bear market plan it'll be a tough cold winter. I had a plan and let emotions get in the way, I pulled my money out Dec 31st and set buy orders at 1750, but sitting on the side for the bull trap to 3500 got me antsy so I bought back in at 2600... then it hit my target so I bought again... and then I bought at 1030... I could have had twice the amount of ETH but oh well I'm DCA all year with disposable income.

Everyone is reluctant to invest in the bearish market, which means most of the new projects do not cover their pre-sale money. As a result, the project is more likely to be ruined. If a good project comes at this time, if they have the financial capacity and come up with an innovative  product that have real use case, those projects will never be died. Even if they fail to collect their pre sell money.

Most of the time crypto market is influenced by hype so it is better to waif for the next signal.

Since that we are in the stage of bear market season, accumulating coins in different exchange is one of the best methods for this matter.
Therefore, putting eggs in different baskets is best for this thing.  At least with this we have a lot reserve for the future savings. So, I don't agree that bear market is a waste of time instead this is a good opportunity to everyone, despite that we had our own choice and understanding for this things.

Firstly, people that leave the market just because it is bear season never really knows or understand why they came into the market in the first place because, Bear markets are when you have the opportunity to buy at a low and if they don't understand this, then I don't get it.
Not every new project will fail immediately in the Bear market. We have seen projects that launched in the bear season and still made it through, I believe if the Devs truly knows what they have and are offering and chose to launch during the bear market, they must have done all due diligence and most that fall are usually scam projects anyway.

Some individuals are just lucky as they lack the knowledge to understand the market but maybe are among those who do or are just good at guessing because we have seen stories of nobody making it big in the market due to decision they took when everyone was against such decision. An example is those that invested in dogecoin and Shiba Inu. These people weren't that knowledgeable about the market they're investing in but just decided to carryout that investment and today they're profiting huge.
Profiting from the market has no timeframe as if you make use of your opportunity well, you can profit from both season of the market. But for newbies use the bear time to study and understand projects and the market very well so you can make use of that knowledge in the bull market to profit.
