Nice little guide that is easy to understand.
It would be nice to have document translation in many different languages, and I know this can be done with g00gle translate but this is not really a perfect translation.
I would also suggest adding list of wallets that support silent payments with link for downloading them.

It seemed to me before that Silent Payments were a sort of "holy grail" for privacy, but there is one concern I have on the regulation side of things.

What if countries like the EU members introduce legislation that would require regulated entities to only interact with addresses which have a prior history, and ban unused addressed unless the owner completes an invasive KYC?

This works well for now, but I can't see them below doing that.

Considering EU is hostile against cryptocurrency privacy, it wouldn't be surprising if it happened. But i doubt it'll happen anytime soon since it would bring major inconvenience for,
1. User who just entered Bitcoin world.
2. User who use HD wallet.
3. User who just switched wallet (e.g. from mobile wallet to hardware wallet).

Although i wouldn't be surprised by blockchain analysis or risk checker service already consider address with no history have higher risk.

They can ban all they want, that doesn't stop Silent payments from working. They could just as well ban Bitcoin entirely.
