BNB or ETH ?

You should have made a poll on this if you really wanted to get the number. But if I were to choose, I would choose Ethereum over Binance 100%. Ethereum has made a lot of original contributions to the crypto space. It has actually made cryptocurrency more than just a currency. It has widened the crypto market a lot, pushed its limits and borders much farther. As for Binance, for me it was just a crypto exchange created solely to make money. And then they thought of joining the bandwagon for the rest of their projects.

Polls will only get bots voting and false impression anyway.

I started using BNB or BSC Dapps myself but I know full well that if things come down to it,,, Binance devs have got zero on Ethereum devs. I know the delays are making everyone upset for ETH 2.0 but I remember people getting pissed with Bitcoin devs as well for the same reason (slow and stubborn). Look where Bitcoin is now though. Powerful, strong, secure, and still the best chain out there.

Ethereum will also be that in years to come, strong secure and the best dapp chain.

We all see Ethereum and BNB are the good competitor for bitcoin.
But we must talk about realistic, Bitcoin is remaining the king and also the biggest.

They are not directly competing Bitcoin in terms of blockchain technology path they are going maybe in the marketcap they are really a competitor of Bitcoin but this topic is not even related to Bitcoin so don't do off topic post.

BNB is user friendly due to its cheap fee and fast transaction. The only disadvantage I can see on BSC was it is too centralized which CZ can do what he wants on it's own blockchain so the fate of the project is at the hands of CZ while ETH is the most decentralised and safe blockchain aside from Bitcoin. The answer on this thread depends on user perspective.

After seeing the destruction of the Luna coin, my confidence in coins other than Bitcoin and Ethereum has diminished. So between these two coins I prefer ETH. Because over the years, ETH has gained confidence in people's minds. No other coin has so far been able to remove ETH from its position. This is a trusted and tested coin.

Why is that so? is Bitcoin not well known in everyone's mind now?
Even before the existence of ETH in the crypto space, Bitcoin was already growing slowly and still survives today in the market at a very good value.

for myself my belief in Bitcoin and Ethereum is still the same,

When I'm asked to choose a coin between Ethereum and BNB coin, i will choose Ethereum because Ethereum is like second Ethereum in the system of cryptocurrency generally, BNB have good record and good volatility but Ethereum is like bitcoin second and have similar rising point of bitcoin, and if i should ask for recommendations i will directly recommend Ethereum because of it's popularity

I would hold BNB over Ethereum but I would hold CNDL over BNB. I think it has more upside and a lot less baggage considering that Binance could be hacked or regulated and those problems could bring down the entire BNB chain.

At the moment, using the BSC network, so BNB, is much cheaper than the cost of transfers on the Ethereum platform.
This may change in the future when ETH 2.0 comes in, but at the moment the choice is simple and it's BNB.

ETH 2.0 is around of conner with ETA PoS around August or September. So I said right now, ETH has more chance to increase its price than BNB in the future. Don't get me wrong, I like both ETH and BNB too and of course, know how much the transaction fee cost between ETH and BNB. But for the short-term potential of high profit, ETH is better than BNB right now.

Both cryptocurrencies have a chance for a very large price increase in the future.
I am waiting with excitement for the ETH 2.0 to be released, but until we see how it works in practice, we do not know how high the transaction fees will be. At the moment, BNB has much lower fees and if that doesn't change, this race will be win by the BSC network.

ETH and BNB are altcoins with very high market caps and they are at the top of the altcoins so there is no need to choose either one because they are both the best in altcoins and each of these coins has a blockchain network that is interconnected so there is no reason to leave either coin although in terms of cost of course I prefer to use BNB because the cost is very cheap compared to Ethereum and if it is for investment then I will choose both.

I have not seen any recent poll these days in the altcoin section. But are there really bots voting? As far as I can remember the last poll I participated was either in the speculation section or gambling section. But the votes are few that's why I think there were no votes coming from bots. They don't profit from it anyway.

Ethereum has always been the strongest altcoin. They have nothing else to prove. In fact almost all hypes in crypto started on the Ethereum blockchain. But the room for development for them is still big. So there is still growth happening in the project.

Well I say bots but I guess I just mean multis or spammers I think the real polls with votes only happen in threads that are aggressively monitored or moderated,,, the rest I would not even trust the results as they would only show the belief of a few people with plenty of accounts. So yes, whichever case not reliable results.

Ethereum does have something else to prove in my mind, that it can be a better DAO than the DAO it was meant to be right in the beginning. That will be something eternal to prove

Even though the market is still bearish at the moment, it's nothing to worry about whether it's BNB or Ethereum.

I'm also curious about the ethereum upgrade in terms of transaction fees, is it possible to be cheaper than BSC. Ethereum is going from Pow to PoS, people are saying that PoS can make transaction fee cheaper and also make transaction faster, I do not believe this until the ethereum 2.0 is completed and the fee is truly reduced. I am only thinking of a scenerio in which ethereum 2.0 is completed and the transaction fee on ethereum network may be reduced but not very reduced to what people are thinking. I believe BSC and Tron will ha e much cheaper transaction fee.

Binance will be more favorable than ethereum because the gas fees of binance is too low for long term investors to make a huge amount of money compare to ethereum gas fees which is too high for investors to make a good profit . Now that the price of crypto has reduced more in the market , it will be better to invest more money on binance than ethereum because binance price can increase higher at anytime to allow people to make a good profit from their investment.

If it was a long term investment then fees won't really matter. You can go with eth or projects that are based on this network but if its about regularly trading then you can bust your pocket if you are only trading smaller amounts but if you are a big trader then it is still fine to pick eth and anything related with it. Eth do also have the potential to pump more if we are talking about long term, more than bnb.

I can get a little of both. But if I had to choose one of them, I would say Ethereum. Because Ethereum attracts more developers. There are more projects created on Ethereum. So, my first choice would be Ethereum... And, CZ is behind Binance Coin. That's why it's such a powerful coin. In addition, its relationship with the real sector is very strong. BNB Coin receives a share for coin burn from every transaction made on Binance. Yes, both are good, but my preference is Ethereum.

Just look around you. So many coins are under binance networks, that means it was not ethereum that attract more developers but it was binance, sorry mate. If only eth didn't experience a problem in its fee, it will still retain its popularity and demand but don't worry as there is still hope left for ethereum. Eth 2.0 is still not over.

I do agree with you too. I see that OP never specifies on what grounds is he basing the option to choose. I believe both are great Alt coins when it comes to Investment purposes and both have contributed to the Crypto ecosystem, BNB is a native coin to the Biggest crypto exchange Binance and Eth is unarguably the biggest decentralized crypto network, they both have their pros and are both good Alts IMHO.

I do agree with you too. I see that OP never specifies on what grounds is he basing the option to choose. Good point and that's something to note down. Both assets have their pros. It's up to the investors and supporters

to choose if which coin they see the potential to earn, though it's also possible to keep both projects and
wait if things will favor your position. No one can really conclude but to sum it up, both projects are good
for short and long investment.

I believe we can not compare both in terms of potential or which is better. Both are long-term coins for me. BNB or ETH both are the real gems of the crypto market if you are planning to buy I believe you can choose any of them or can hold both. These are like blue-chip shares of the crypto market.
