Can we separate discussing about Bitcoin and altcoins?

What you've said above about Bitcoin as an investment is correct since from the historical, Bitcoin price will always increase even we're faced so many dump due to fake news and so on. Using Bitcoin for trading doesn't always work with your past experience since the market could go otherwise.

Now talking about altcoins, it's wrong for both investment and trading because there's a low chance altcoins price will always increase, more over it could become a dead coin and you will rekt.

It is not that simple, you could use your trading experience of 'yesterday' in your trading 'today' and still lose, you could even lose more than you did the previous day, the market is unpredictable and you cannot predict or guess what is going to happen. Trading is difficult, better one avoids it, but if you cannot always be ready to endure losses. Investment is much better, you can either use dollar cost averaging to buy bitcoin periodically, or you can buy a lump sum and hold it.

Of course we can say that some of our decisions are based on expectations that again stem from some of our previous experiences or the experiences of some other people, but the future is always uncertain no matter how much experience we have and no matter what we know about something.

I think it is wrong that most consider investing in Bitcoin only as a way to one day reach their magical exit point and profit, and not as what it was actually created for. Therefore, I think that each individual should have his role when it comes to the future, because if we let the big ones become the main players, there is no doubt that they will destroy everything they can get their hands on just for the sake of greater profit.

Bitcoin is not just a matter of making as much profit as possible, it is something much bigger - but it may only be understood by those who use it as a currency at least from time to time.

Because we all know that we are dealing with such an unpredictable market, so no one can predict correctly what will be the future outcome. Although we aim big out from trading or investing in crypto, but we should not expect too much from them as they can go into opposite direction and leave us frustrated.

Some of my gains were also unexpected knowing my limited knowledge on trading. I understand the fact that losing is inevitable on crypto and I had done that many times over and got some really bad decisions why not sold why not hold. Its seem its in fact depend on our greed calculator how are we gonna get profit and get rekt at the same time.

Pretty simple if we look at the past 5 years. Every single altcoin has lost a significant part of its price against bitcoin with no exceptions. That means none of them are ever good for "investment" when you have a choice between bitcoin and altcoins.
A more detailed look at the altcoin market shows that they are only good for short term high risk trading since they only get pumped and dumped.

With so many altcoins now being created every year in the crypto space, it is really hard to determine which is a good investment. For me, speculation make a great factor that it will pump in the future but it doesn't guarantee that it is a long term investment and will not rekt you. That is what I've learn with the LUNA and UST issue, I haven't bought it but my friends did and that time they keep saying it has good fundamentals but look what happened now.

Your expectations can be high because you want to make a profit which is your main aim in investing or starting a trade, but it does not change the outcome of what the market will bring for the day, any crypto trader or investor will always be optimistic that whatever they invest will turn out well having done all the analysis and gone through the history of the coins they want to trade, when they encounter losses, they never stop expecting good returns.

It is very correct that experience is needed in this space to do well, but how about those who just joined, is no experience enough for them to get discouraged after reading something like this?

We should also be able to point out that though personal experience may sometimes give the best lessons, it is more advicable if you can learn from the experience of others in this field if you have none rather than waiting and only wanting to learn from your own experience, you may never recover.

I think most crypto users at the beginning lost money, but they earned lessons that have been inspiring to learn more and take action.
