If other user who criticized your work because they don't want you to improve or they doing that because they want you to be down or let say Abusive Criticism only thing you should do is to ignore them and don't reply any question or ask from them. But if someone criticized your work because you are not following the rules and regulations then you should accept that and improve your quality works.

We don’t know everything, after interacting with people form different geographies I find I know less of the world than I thought. Constructive criticism is necessary for positive changes to happen, a third party can easily highlight your mistakes so you can make improvements. It’s is possible to feel attacked when somebody criticize your body of work, for me I can easily tell the intention of the user is for my betterment

As you grow old on the forum, you will get to realize that the "ignore" option will serve better, especially when you borrow the constant advice of certain veterans here to grow thick skin. I won't hit the ignore button because a user criticizes me but I can effortlessly do that if a user becomes an annoying troll.
I have never placed anyone on ignore list from my newbie days till now. I personally believe that I can ignore someone even without putting the person on ignore list. I have my phone, I have my computer and I decide on whose post to reply. So, placing one on ignore list such that I can't see their posts again doesn't go well with me. I will either want to read the nonsense post or decide to scroll pass at will.

Likewise in mobile phones, I don't delete people's number. If I decide that I'll neither take or dail a particular number, I can do it. I control what I can do. The only reason I use block button is because, when the phones rings I might not know who is calling until I see the phone's screen. So it doesn't worth it to walk to your phone and discover that it's an unwanted caller.

I do not see cool reason ignoring a critics, though it's peculiar to me.

Well, while I effortlessly concede that the right and choice of action is entirely yours, and rightly so too, let me quickly ask what use it will be to you not ignoring users you know make "nonsense post" like you pointed out. I'm not cool (I guess most people too) with reading nonsense posts. Anyway, I admit that it's different strokes for different folks. Nevertheless, I prefer ignoring a user who intentionally irritates others for the fun of it to one who criticizes for the good of it. Again, I would not keep anyone's contact I know I don't need. It's pointless letting it lie fallow on my phone and take up memory space. Deleting the contact is the easiest way for me not to make someone a point to remember.

Just close the tab and forget about it  Tongue

I always like your answers. You are laconic, but your answers are always to the point.

Why worry about criticism on the Internet? Well, if someone doesn’t like the way a person writes,  both have a choice, they can just pass by. Most often, this is what most users do. But there is another popular word that applies to users who cry from criticism. This is "snowflake."

Whenever you are hurt by the words of a stranger to you, remember that now you have become just that.

I believe the users I have on ignore are not adding any value to me or the community, I think carefully and review post history before putting someone in my ignore list. If your posts are full of bounty reports and thank you replies  you are definitely going on my ignore list. Abusive language wouldn’t make me add someone to my ignore list, not yet. One may be brash but still be contributing to the forum

This word "snowflake" made me remember when I was in my teenager years, like I was clueless when people are fighting in front of me calling the other person a "snowflake". I guess that is what was meant.

I heard that word quite often even in voice chats in games as well.

A lot of work goes into planning, researching, and writing good posts. So, I can understand why newbies get all worked up about the criticism and feedback their posts may attract. I believe that each individual has a unique way of reacting to criticism. For example, some may act defensive, offended, show appreciation or just totally ignore the criticism or feedback.

Before I share my four (4) tips on how I handle criticism or feedback on Bitcointalk talk, let me echo the popular advice given to newbies in the forum. I'd quote Mr.right85 because I love how he puts it.

Be open to criticism
Every perfect system is often one that has been tested by series of criticism and when they don't break you, they make you. In your need to be better, never expect only kind words from most persons or anyone, its the first step to disappointment and brokenness. On this, I say you should grow a thick skin like THE PHARMACIST and LOVESMAYFAMILIS would say and instead of being bittered, learn to utilise and apply them to be better.

Below are my four (4) tips on how I handle criticism or feedback on Bitcointalk Forum.

1) Provide a little bit of context
I try to give additional information or offer a relatable perspective when I observe that the critic or user providing the feedback has misunderstood me.

2) Research on key points
I carry out a research on the key points raised by the critic especially when I observe that the criticism or feedback given shows that the individual has domain expertise.

3) Rewrite and Revise
If my research proves that the points raised are valid, I either rewrite or revise the topic from top to bottom. This time, I focus on the key points. After which, I upload the file to a private folder on Google drive.

4) Ignore Button
If I notice that the user is just trying to humiliate or embarrass me for no just reason I put them in my ignore list.

How do you deal with criticism on Bitcointalk forum?
The fact is that criticisms could motivate you to be a positive or negative person, the constructive and destructive criticism. For me, i never have to deal with negative criticisms because i realized that what i always receive are those constructive ones that will make me a better person in the forum. So i keep on improving myself, follow their advices, and keep gaining knowledge about crypto particularly with bitcoin because that is the focus in the forum itself.

You see how that goes to show that one man's meat, is another's poison? I, for one, won't put anyone under ignore for having only bounty posts or reports. Users like that are only out to make a living from the forum and are straight up about their intentions. I don't have any problem with that provided they're doing it legitimately. Besides, such users hardly write anything or try to cross fertilize ideas with other users except when they make complaints to their managers when they're cheated out of bounty rewards. Most times they even make that complain off forum. Users like that rarely visit any sections of the forum except that which concerns their bounties. For me, I don't even see how they become a problem to the point of ignoring them individually except one is going to put the whole board where they post under ignore.

4) Ignore Button
If I notice that the user is just trying to humiliate or embarrass me for no just reason I put them in my ignore list.

How do you deal with criticism on Bitcointalk forum?

Some of us are taking it personally they open a thread about it and mark the guy red even if there are no valid scam accusations
that is why there is an ignore button so you can move on and don't have anything to do with the guy, in my case I just ignore them we are here for healthy discussion, and we only humiliate members if they are trying to scam people.
Criticism is part of our life online and offline but I want it to be constructive criticism, not something that will destroy the person's reputation.

Acceptance is all what we need to have for all criticism we receive here because we cannot count all people here to like us because we have different perspective on certain situations on what people discuss about those certain issues. And we just treat all those as part of our growth because if we can deal up all the challenges we face especially those critical once for sure we will be more experience to handle all things especially those trolls who intend to spit and destroy our reputation here. Just make sure you do the right thing and didn't do anything to harm anyone since you will be alright in all cases if you just here with pure intentions to learn or even help new people to learn about crypto.
That's part of growing, accepting all the challenges and even negative criticisms that we have to endure so we can be more strong not to fall for our weaknesses. As long as we are following the footsteps to success without negative intention for others to fall while we are taking leaps, i guess in the end we deserve success and fortune in the crypto market. Just trust the process, as everything started from a scratch before they achieved their positions right now.

Why put an ignore button? If his annoying too much then its fine but if he has a valid arguement then try to stay up with the topic. Its good seeing two opinion collides. If somehow you feel embarass then its fine cause the other guy might have known it than you and its totally normal. We dont know everything and not all we knew are the same with them. Learn to accept some ideas from others it not bad to absorb it.

If the user got mad and tagged the user without any proof, it's an abusing trust feedback. Pretty sure he could be excluded by many DTs and his feedback will not visible as trusted anymore. Gladly this forum have ignore button to ignore the users who're only attacking someone because they're anger, but if the OP got criticized in real life, I don't know what he will do in that situation. Did he will cry and ask help from his father? lol

Be open to criticism means you wanted to learn more by using their criticism to check when you made mistakes or if ever there is a mistakes or not. There are some people who will criticize you badly which will hurt your feelings but don't let it affect you instead use it as a source of your passion for learning. There are some people who will criticize you not because of you made mistakes or errors but to help you realize that you made are wrong or you have mistakes which will bring to wiwo saying constructive criticism and offensive or abusive criticism though I would support the IGNORE button as the best choice.

Many of us interpret criticism as an attack on our own value, taking criticism personally when it is not.
It could be an attack at times because a guy once called me "stupid and foolish" for taking offence at why I disliked Bitcoin. It's disliked, not even dislike. I guess some are overbearing and attack/disrespect people at will which is not good.

This is huge community consisting of people from various backgrounds and have different view points that clashes sometimes.
Even at that, we should learn to respect each other. I believe that criticism should be constructive and be posted with wisdom where the point would be made rather than attacking someone senselessly. I was a victim of this many times but trust me, I fired back.

Learn to fact check and learn how to research on a certain topic that you can use for cross referencing to provide an accurate if not the best answer regardless of the nature of the topic. This means that you really know and have applied what you are talking about and not just some random gibberish content just to achieve certain quota. You are only entitled to give an opinion or advice as long as you can defend it morally and ethically.

And if there are members who corrected you in the middle of the discourse, then it would be best to absorb what they teach you like a sponge and never repeat the same advice you have given before.
Well said! But could you believe that some of the attackers and critics don't even know what they are saying? Could you believe that a guy was arguing with me that Ethereum is not the most actively developed blockchain because he's a hero member? How lame is that? At times, a superiority complex is the problem of some critics not the lack of knowledge of those they attack.

Was it me? LOL!

Well, if that is all the guy told you, then I wouldn't even consider it a criticism, but just plain ad hominem since he is incapable of arguing effectively. But, if it is accompanied by valid arguments, then you can accept it as the way he is expressing himself. For example, some people are more vocal in their feelings while others are more intellectual and restrained. Don't take away the other's right to express themselves in a way they feel comfortable with. The language we use to express ourselves (or our attitudes) is often a reflection of our personality and character. You don't have to be a wimp about it.

Their are two things involve when someone is criticise, It is either criticism makes you to do better by learning more or ignoring criticism  and not to pick offence.  The truth us that as far as life is concern criticism is always constant , it is something that everyone experience . Even things that are good their are people who will still criticise it, for example bitcoin.  Criticism should never be taking serious , because  anyone can choose to do it just to make you feel bad.

4) Ignore Button
If I notice that the user is just trying to humiliate or embarrass me for no just reason I put them in my ignore list.
In the four you mentioned, I think this number four is the one I use most frequently, but then, I don't actually use the ignore button, I just ignore by not replying to that user's comment or criticism, I have never, and will never use the ignore button on a user for criticizing me or my post in whatever way, no matter how wrong the user is with his or her criticism against me, i am of the believe that we all are free to air our opinions in the best way we understand the topic being discussed, and if at that particular time, that user's opinion is to criticize me, then
  • I take it, and make the necessary adjustments ~ if I discover the user is right in his or her judgment of me or my post, and most times, I do this even without replying that user.
  • I read, and ignore(without using the ignore button) , if after proper evaluation, I discover the user is arguing or criticizing me or my post out of point, sometimes I try to make the user understand by replying to him or her, but if still, the user won't, I just don't reply him or her anymore, I let it slide.

I was blogging some time ago, and I can say that these are useful methods of maintaining "social digital hygiene." There will always be aggressively dissatisfied people, but they, as samurai, have only one way, not the goal.
