I think the answer lies in the fact that special skills are not required to participate in the bounty, such as for example for trading. And as I wrote earlier, no initial capital is required either. It is possible that for someone receiving $ 10-20 is a decisive factor for participating in the bounty. If it's the usual bounty and airdrop, they're all correct that it's a waste of time and it's not worth it anymore. There are rare projects that distribute airdrops to their participants not by just the typical filling up of forms and posting POA.

The majority of these bounties and airdrops are worthless, even those reputable managers who manage them have no escape, they got not paid as well.

But it also depends on their contract, if they're paid with a better crypto to manage them then there's an assured payment for the manager. If they'll also receive the same token as payment, higher chance that they'll waste time.

But by doing such tasks like contributing to their tests, helping them in validation and other technical stuff and that's no marketing on their end. Some are worth it to join but I don't have interests on them.

That's what I have seen that many folks really do spend time for those projects but it's difficult to determine if it will be a good one or not.

These people are encouraging participants to help promote their projects in exchange to some amounts as they have promised to pay them after but guess what? It was just a broken promise and it won't just break their heart and wasted their time but also ruins the reputation of the market which discourages investors to put money in here.

The reputation of bounty market has been already stained and many of them are low chance in having a successful flight and that's why they're just trying it and everytime they fail, they'll do it again with another project.

To learn trading is also the best choice but just to remind you of the risk of it. Some have been having a good journey in this but some also have not and suffer losses. If you think this is suitable for you and you are comfortable doing this, then I say go for it.

You don't need to start huge capital in trading, I suggest starting with a small amount of $100 is good enough.

I'm not so sure about that. Can you give at least one example where you got good money at the end of the month from a bounty or airdrop? I may be wrong, but it seems like a complete waste of time. It seems more likely that you will make a couple of dollars from any other given task than from doing a bounty for some shitcoins. And if you get only a couple of dollars that's no good, the reward does not come close to replacing the effort that you need to put in for this to be a worthwhile activity.

That's not income. It's pennies. In some parts of the word, those pennies can make a significant difference due to the general poverty of the region. It's sad, but that's the way it is.

That's charity. Even airdrops are no longer airdrops because you are selling your ID and your identity for those pennies. That's data that will be collected, leaked, or sold elsewhere. Then your successful cryptocurrency endeavors can come back and bite you in the ass.

Well, we don't have the same experience bro, and many others could verify how terrible is the bounties now and much more for the airdrops. I don't know which bounty you have been joining as most of the hunters says they are just wasting their time joining them. May some give rewards and are still able to sell them in the market but as seen, many of these bounties turn into scams. And the truth is that it gets worse, you'll be lucky to have this program that will give you valuable coins/tokens as most of them are shitcoins.

You're guess is true. Most of the bounties are scam and you can only find a few legit bounties. If you wish to join again then the chance of joining a scam bounty is 99% since 99% of those bounties are scam. Some country is that the bounty reward is just a small amount where some countries are not small. I joined a bounty before and I got $140 which is okay if converted to our fiat currency. In my opinion, it is a waste of time but if you wish to join then it's up for you to decide.

Bounties now are mostly scam, even if they really pay you it's not worth it compare to the time that you will do promoting those bounties.

As for airdrops, it's like betting on a lottery. There are airdrops that is worthless today then suddenly next month or year its token value suddenly pumps.

Doing those two are not profitable now unlike before, you just need to be active on their community then you'll reap great rewards.

How this can be called an airdrop when you have to try and spend money on their sites? The true airdrop is you're only need to give your address in order to receive the distribution, nothing more. Most of airdrop now required to follow, like, share, shills, and give our personal information in order to eligible for the airdrop. That's not an airdrop anymore, but a bounty task.

To be honest, it makes way more sense to me that you actually have to do something in order to get the tokens, instead just giving tokens without any requirement other than giving your address. I know that approach was very popular during 2017 ICO craze, but the way I see it, only the absolute shitcoin project would give tokens for nothing in return.

That's what people are doing nowadays, they trade on all those DEX that haven't had airdrop yet, hoping that one day there will be one, like Uniswap had. I have a friend who made pretty decent amount of money that way. Its not easy though as you often have to use some obscure exchange on not so popular blockchain and that is usually pain in the ass.

2016-2017 was the prime time of bounties and airdrops, that was also the time of ICO projects. Quite to say they are more reliable that these new sets of projects like Metaverses and NFTs, plus DeFI and many others.

I agree, 2016 is the year I sign up for this forum and it was great back then there were so many airdrops and airdrops are very much different from what we have today you just pm your address to the developer and you will receive yours no need to do task
or anything to do, this is also the year where there are good projects, rugpull and scamming scheme is unheard of because we have good developers who are serious about their projects.

It was really to remember those days, it is totally different from what I have experienced this time from the bounties and airdrops as most of them are useless and added no value to the market. I'd found this as a big concern since many people had fallen into such broken promises.

There are a lot of risks now on bounties and airdrops you are not guaranteed if the project will turn out good you can only hope, it's like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are going to get.

I have been doing bounties and Airdrops back in 2017 but I think I was too late to enter them since once I started doing them

To be honest I'd rather prefer the then bounties of the oast years compared to the ones we have now all because they are not reliable to a certain level well convincing enough, we've got lots of people making it through bounties before as the rate of how its been use for scam is very low unlike present, but if i may suggest to you OP why going for bounties, the best reason is well know to you, the reason why most avoid bounties and airdrops is because the rate of scam in it is very high but can be a fast means for profit realization and the opposite as well.
