The main value of meme coins is that it has no value) It should be remembered that the main goal of meme coins is to get a quick profit for its organizers by pump & dump. But at the same time, not every meme coin can be subject to a pump & dump cycle, since this requires a large investor or a public person capable of providing this.

Based on the name itself, you shouldn't expect anything from it because it's just going to make you feel worthless once you get in. Mostly, people who invest in it are ready to lose it all and it's going to be considered as a "very risky move" that would make you question every thing that you have. Knowing that you are not going to be correct all the time during selection of the coins that you will have. Hopefully, you would get the right one, but that's still going to be tricky.

The value that it gets is always going to be based on what people decides it should have. When it sky rockets because it becomes viral and with that in mind, it's going to go down for soon enough. So decide whether you want a quick buck or maybe feel the heat or something.

Anyone can disagree with this but I think a meme is a meme that has value especially to entertain something. We're in a bear market and if you see goblin town art, it represents meme and that's where value may be derived from, it was minted for free and it has 5 eth floor now. Isn't that laughable, isn't that meme? Tell me if that wouldn't have any intrinsic value. Yeah, we're too attached to the intangible value in this space (financial value).

Don't fret if they do skyrocket, most of these meme coins will gone, maybe 95% of it. It has short term valuation in this space, just don't get caught up in it.

Hype,my friend,hype. That word pretty much helps most of crypto projects. Dogecoin,for example,got hyped into a utility coin,so yes hype has its merits too since it propels a particular coin or token into the attention of the high and mighty like Elon Musk

In cryptocurrency I think hype is very easy to create, some short-term events create high price increase opportunities such as listing exchange, mainnet, partner, burn etc. But burn is the most preferred, besides that the reason why coin memes are so popular is that the price is cheap when it goes up small from fair trading, the profit is more.

Most people hold meme coins because they thought it was being a meme that is popular enough to attract more gullible people into buying it at a higher price. Based on your questions, I think you must familiarize the crypto market first regarding how it works, and behave because if you already know how this industry works, you can easily get an idea, of why even the meme coins prices have been skyrocketed besides it has no real-world uses cases that can drive a future demand of its token.

Anyway back to your question, In reality, I believe that the meme coins are just driven by hype and FOMO, and it's all temporal thats why it will not last long, But on the other circumstances If the meme coin has been back by a large community including whales, I think it's been another story, but it doesn't mean that the project is all good and have potential, don't forget that the meme coins still a meme coin and it will remain as it is no matter how high the price they are already achieved.

Those meme coins are skyrocketing because of the fake hype that is being created by the developers and the supporters.
Everybody wants to make a quick profit out of those meme coins and thus the hype around them.
In the long run all of those meme coins will get dumped and basically there's no intrinsic value to them.

It is nice that you can distinguish between price and value, the price of meme coins is high just because people like to speculate with them, and since that is the case the only utility of those coins is for a bunch of traders to outsmart another group of traders and earn money that way, however in terms of value those coins are worth zero, and anything with a value of zero will have its price eventually reach that value as well, so stay away from those coins as they are not worth your time.

meme coins only rely on hype and fomo for a moment, they can reach the highest price of 2-10x even more but will disappear and fade after their hype is gone, so if you are going to enter the meme coin.  just get 25% profit from the initial capital, don't be too high set profit because you can regret

Are you sure you've looked into the popular meme coins? There are a few that have good utility for example Shiba Inu and Doge dash, and I want to remind you that projects with good utilities do fail as well, for example Luna, if we are talking about gamble then everything crypto is a gamble.

It's all gambling, nothing is 100% safe in crypto. But investing in meme projects is more risky when you try to invest in potential projects. What happened to Luna was actually quite unexpected and no one could have predicted it but the death of most memecoins is something almost everyone knows in advance.

And the community was raised by the hype and FOMO. many more people who are invited because of the hype, will come to the community and make the meme coins skyrocketing. Meme coins are a highly speculative investment, so many investors are jumping in hoping that their investment will grow 100x to 1000x in a short span of time.  With this kind of hype, demand flocks in increasing the price of the coins.  We all know the price or value of any coin is strongly driven by the law of supply and demand.  Following the logic of the stated law, the more people get excited over the Meme Coin the more funds come in thus creating a surging trend in the meme market.  In a speculative investment, the real value of the coins and even their use case is neglected.

Their prices will sky rocket as they are easily hyped by those big whales or those high profile individuals like Elon Musk, but when the hype is gone, their prices will eventually drop again and some won't even recover at all. This happens because they have no real utility cases in the market and that there is no community that would need them for long, in short they are only useless coins that's why they find it hard to survive particularly when there is bear market.

meme coin for the most of part has no real underlying value, it's just this meme coin are being heavily used for manipulation, they main reason most of meme coin could go against the current trend of bearish is because manipulation itself.
moreover meme coin for the most of part also heavily driven by trend, like elon's shill and the likes.
so in short, it's just a coin with no real market, it's all just a game created by the ones that manipulated the market of these meme coin, it's better if you just invest in some ordinary coin since they have real underlying value.

If you don't see any real values, where do you think these money came from and who do you think are those people willing to buy a lot of these? Of course those people who are really hyped up for these coins just because it is a meme.
