If that is the case, I'll try to avoid as much risk as I can. I rather save that money and look for multiple charities out there that might probably help regarding the financial problem that I'm currently facing right now. I'm sure there will be some foundation out there that could probably take action and pay all the medical expenses because that's just how they are. At least you've done your best to save your father without risking the money you only have. Investing in the current situation of the market only makes things worse because as of now we are in the middle of a bearish market where we expect to gain profit only if we hold our crypto assets for the long term.

The dilemma here was he needs to triple the money in able to pay for the surgery cost and not choose whether to pay 50K or invest. If I where the one on this fck up situation, I will not risk anymore the 50K since life is at stake here while investing in crypto is very dangerous. It's very hard to trade the money that badly needed by someone because your decision will always influence by pressure which prone to mistakes however you can invest the money on lending/staking that will provide passive income to help cut the bills while the remaining balance from the surgery will be coming from a loan in the bank.

It will relate to the psychological condition of a person by carrying the burden of making money from investments that we do not know when will give us profits. Earning money is easy as long as we are not lazy type of people, So if I am in that scenario I won't hesitate to give that amount of money to spend it to my Father's surgery, Money can be earn anytime but life is once in a lifetime and once death come's to us it can't be return. Therefore, I won't risk the life of my Father in this situation.
