Cheating with Hunters in the name of Bounty Campaign.

The market has been going bad for the last few months and there has been a lot of cheating with Bounty Hunters in the name of Bounty campaign.  Below are the names of some of the bounties and the evidence is given:

Fox Campaign has advertised 5 scam projects in the last two months and Bounty Hunters have apologized for the scam after 2-3-4 weeks and end of work.


Also Aladdin Campaign Shared 2 Scam projects, but they did not announced anything about it. Aladdin Campaign has already been Red Trusted  for UKAN Plagiarized Whitepaper,
And again Shared Bounty with New account.


What we can do in this situation is to do bounty hunter. I know, The job of bounty managers is to promote bounty.  I don't blame the bounty managers but is it right to give 4-5 consecutive Scam bounty’s?

What can you do in this situation? The moderators can't help you with the fact that hunters regularly complain about bounty scams.

You misunderstand the purpose of the forum. This is a forum for communication and discussion of bitcoin, in addition to other alternative coins.

Therefore, everything is in the hands of hunters. If you don't want to cheat, skip the bounty section. Of course, we are sorry for your losses and the time spent, but apart from regrets, you will not get anything.

Bitcointalk does not moderate any scam bounty or signature campaign, and it has been discussed numerous times that such moderation is a complete waste of time.

If there's anything that newbies should do, it should be to invest their time in learning about bitcoin in general rather than wasting their time with another newbie bounty manager or much better avoid bounties at all.

Op it's very obvious that you can ignore any bounty campaign you denote it's scam project, in normal sense those newly launched bounty campaign are not meant for forum to determine if they will exist or not, because they are advertising their project which no one knows if it's genuine or scam. In support of every other person's suggestion, bitcointalk is specifically meant for extensive contribution of cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin in quote and sub branches of bitcoin as lovesmayfamilis has said above. So will like you to pick note. And if really you want to agitate for this file against fighting of scam bounty projects in meta section or reputation and gather your opinion from other community users.

RashidulIR, as others have already said, this forum is primarily created for crypto lovers, as a place to discuss and meet like-minded people.
This forum is a great place to inform about the crypto in general, to ask questions, and generally a good place to start for beginners.
Of course, not all members are well-meaning, but it is not realistic for forum administrators and moderators to personally check every proposed paid project on the forum.
Members themselves should keep an eye on and check out such projects as bounty campaigns and be aware that any such project is risky.
If you discover any attempt to deceive forum members, you should simply report it to a specific place on the forum and thus help others. This is how the forum works.

What exactly are you expecting moderators to do in situations like these? It seems like you have misunderstood what this platform is for and why it even exists in the first place. This is a platform for discussion and exchange of opinions, and the main duty of the moderator is to moderate such discussions and make sure that a user follows the forum rules.

If you want to stop scam projects from being promoted, it would be better to urge bounty hunters not to apply for such campaigns. Obviously, this will never happen since the vast majority of bounty hunters do not give a damn about anything at all before joining a campaign.

Newbies do not know this and do not understand that the forum has nothing to do with scams, they should not oblige to moderate projects here, it's really up to us and not on them to educate ourselves and be good at tracing good and bad actors in the Cryptocurrency market, our responsibility is to ourselves not to get scammed and to educate and share what we know about projects how good and how bad are these projects.

The only way to protect yourself from such things is to not participate in them. I know someone will say that it is easy for me to share such advice because I am a Legendary member who has no need to participate in such things, but I have never participated in it - even when the chances of scams were lower and earnings higher than today.

I remember somewhere else here a reputable bounty manager admitted on his post that he stopped managing bounty campaigns because almost all of the bounty campaigns he handled are scams.  Good bounty managers not only care about who will promote the bounty but there should also be a balance between the project and the forum.  It seems like they are still looking at the quality of members who have joined the project than the quantity of the bounty hunters.

So what did you expect from those bounty managers that mentioned you above?  They even don't have enough reputation, so it does matter to them if they will promote scam projects as long as someone paid them and they will generate profit. 

If you have joined a scam project once, stop bounty hunting if that is the same bounty manager.

I respect everyone advices. There are many like me who have part-time job bounty hunting, joining Airdrop and making videos on YouTube. We have no other job and we have depend on the money we earn from it, so it is frustrating for us that we get scammed even after doing the right thing. Please do some rules about Bounty. This will be my appeal. If I say something wrong, everyone please forgive, I'm still Newbie. I'm trying to learn something new from here and from Cryptocurrency. Thanks.

I don't understand any of the above, because it's written in bounty hunter English.  Bhenglish.

The job of bounty hunters is to remain suckers for life and keep scraping the bottom of the barrel until there's nothing left but splinters of wood.  And bounty managers?  They couldn't give a fuck who's cheating even if they could tell--even if it's reported to them. 

I looked at that Apple Pie bounty that OP linked to, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what the thing is supposed to be about.  What surprised me, however, is how many social media sites these bounties are paying to get their spam onto.  It's no wonder if you filter any crypto results on Youtube by upload date, all you get are non-English videos that are all the same and all scammy as hell.  Some are in English, but the rest is the same.  Don't even get me started about crypto content on YT, because it's atrocious.

OP, suck it up.  If you suspect cheating, report it to the bounty manager.  This forum isn't going to lift a finger to stop scam projects, and unfortunately that's just the way it is.

The forum does not moderate scams or set rules for bounty/signature campaigns and this is not something you should hope for today or in the future. I suggest you change your attitude towards how you use the forum, because you need to put knowledge first, and only then can you look for ways to earn something in much safer and fairer ways than bounty campaigns.

If you have certain skills (such as making YT videos) you can always offer your services to forum members in Services.

Your words have touched my heart. I'm trying to learn a little about YouTuber and Cryptocurrency, like Trading. There have love and blessings from the heart for you. This issue of hunters been helpless with scamming projects is becoming one too many and I don't think it's creating a good image for the forum. Thank you, that's what I meant, but I didn't put it bluntly, and you say it in like my mind. I think in order to maintain the beauty of this beautiful forum, the parties need to pay attention to these aspects. In fact, we are newcomers who do not know which is the Scam Project and which is the Real Project, for which we are deceived again and again. This should not be put on the shoulders of moderators or more experienced people on this forum. Much depends on you. Take a look at your e-wallets. How much did you earn? Ask yourself, what do I have to lose by advertising for those who do not consider my work respected? And these are the organizers who will not pay you in the future. You, agreeing to advertise them, agree that all bounty hunters are just pawns who mean nothing to the organizers of the fraud.

Yes, even as much as we know and believe that much depends on OP to know what is right for them; we should also know that sometimes the experiences one passes through may not always be pleasant. It's that experience I'm calling on the moderators and admins of this forum to help buffer newbies and inexperienced users like OP with. I engaged in bounties too in the past (I'm sure you also did) and then got burnt several times before I learnt my lesson. If we had the forum moderating scams I'm not sure I would've got burnt before learning my lesson. Now that I've moved away from bounties, there are other greenhorns who are obviously moving to it. There's never a shortage of inexperienced people there. Hunters unknowing supply to scam projects can be cut short if there's moderation. That's the point I'm making.

There is a lot of information on the forum on how not to get caught in scam projects. A first look and checking all the red flags might give some idea of the project. But even this does not guarantee that the project will not turn out to be a scam in the future.

What would you suggest for moderators? Even so, they cannot predict in advance whether the bounty will pay in the future or not.

That's why I advised the OP to stay on the forum but pursue an education, and later, as a privilege, he could earn some extra money.

But you must understand that what you are proposing is simply not possible.

I try as much as I can not to keep a defeatist mindset and outlook on things. In the real sense of the word, impossibility doesn't actually exist. It depends on who is handling the issue. Let me quickly draw your attention to something I (I'm sure several other members didn't know too) never knew could be done here – A user could've their username changed. I know a user who has had his moniker changed; not even once but twice. Before now I would've said that was impossible. So, on the issue at hand, once mods set their act on doing it; it's done.

There are even some who will appropriately tell you to show them how to fish from the onset and never to even give them a single fish. In my perspective, teaching them how to fish here would be to help screen out or/and ban outright scams for them (newbies) so they can navigate the waters without the criminal sharks.

Well, for starters, one would've expected that the widely reported 1xbit signature campaign alleged to be a scam site would've been looked into by mods and admins and if found culpable; yanked off.
