How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks?

This kind of thing must need to become conscious first is the platform if have a good layer of security to make sure my funds are safe coming from attacks and next mostly I found a platform has a good feature of bonuses and offers a good odds for the sportsbook of course player with a higher odds is in the favour of them so why not it is ideal to do also next is have a good update for the user's wage like the slip and have an auto-update of the current game situation. One thing you have to consider is to look it in this forum if the sportsbook have some crypto related to know if it has a potential to be a good casino in the future. And yes, a little bit of common sense when doing some research and I think you would notice it just like how the review can be paid to release a fake reviews.

You just have to be very observant and learn what are the common red flags of the other scam casino as well as the green flags of a reputable casino. Then you can do the math after that.

I first of all do a detail check of the deposit and withdraw page and then go for reviews about them both on forums and social media. I also check the licence but in some case I have read that fake licence are also being posted. This forum has a dedicated board for all gambling sites so if that sportsbook has a thread here then I would check it too.

there's nothing wrong with trying a new sportsbook, just to find the gaming experience elsewhere. only use small money to try it. I often try new sportsbooks, especially the ones advertised on forums. not to chase bonuses, just want to find the most comfortable place to play to spend money.
if we look in the forums, there are several sportsbooks that we can use. Seeing reputation in forums and reviews from other members will certainly be easier. I don't play sports books anywhere else except the ones on the forums. although many websites accept fiat for us to bet on.

Usually, I look at sportsbooks track record of allegations, how they respond and address problems or accusations by users in this forum. Yes, I'm not shy over not-so-clean-of-record sportsbooks and I think it's unrealistic for a sportsbook to not have any bad allegations. From those standpoints, I can see and understand how they conduct business. If problems arises, are they going to try to buy my silence, or be willing to address it, working out the problems.

It's easy to find a good and bad sportsbook, you can always check the profile of their bitcointalk account, if they have plenty of positive feedback, they are considered a good sportsbook, and if they have bad feedback, that means they are the worst, simple as that.

We are in this forum, the easiest way to check their reputation is through their profile feedback.

first of all a site should have a license. if it possible I take a look about "privacy" and "about us" or other text (just be sure they have inserted useful information and it's not a mere copy paste from other platform).
I made a research online to verify and read scam accusations (I know that most of the site have some accusations but it's interesting understand why people are complaining).
Last but not least, I have a look on their topic in bitcointalk. If they have any promotion active or any kind of marketing.

I believe in such case we will have to follow a different approach  and rely on other criteria to determine if the sportsbook can be trusted or not. Any ideas?

Well, they need to establish a good relationship with the forum users if they want to attract any players on this forum. There is no free meal. Sometimes even that's not going to be enough.

1xBit tried to bribe/pay high sig camp payments to the forum users but they are still not liked here. So money isn't everything.

They need to be honest, do some promotions, maybe a signature camp and the rest will come easily. Of course they are not going to be successful around here if don't know anything about them no matter how good they are on other forums/communities.

Trying every sports book ourselves is difficult and risky too as you will not know in advance if the site is legit or scammy?

Instead of this, I will prefer to read the reviews about the gambling sites and sportsbooks and then decide to play at those that suit my preferences. Also, it's better to play at old trusted sites instead of brand new ones.

Don't say this sir, maybe you should consider only the largest and the biggest one, they are really trusted, and also keep an eye if site is licensed or not, in this way you can play in really safe mode.

However, I also consider that scam is always behind the corner, but anyway, follow this advice

I think player reviews are very important to judge how trusted a website is. You will find in this forum which website is trusted and user friendly, because here players discuss the good and bad aspects of different websites.. Not only in this forum, but also in various review websites you will find which website is suitable for players to play. There are a lot of websites online, this does not mean that you have to play in every website. I think it is a good option to join a website that is reliable and has built a good reputation.

Yes, even old sportsbook sometimes were new. And they had the same question. But i`m not ready to spend time and(possible) money to test any new sportsbook. I`d prefer to use known sportsbook without small bets and thinking about withdraw. And wait until this new sportsbook get trust and feedback. But it is possible that i can miss some bonuses - for someone it may be a part of strategy.

Agreed!
Getting positive reviews is not a big deal. Scammers can pay a few bucks per review and people will fill their review page, they don't care whether it is a scammer or a legit.
Therefore using forums search feature would be a good idea.
and while searching, type something like this: "website name scam" this way, you will get all the topics of the Scam Accusations of that particular website.

First, one of the ways I check online sportsbooks is through other peoples review of their services and how they operate, before joining or depositing money into any online sportsbooks, I try to search online and see what customers of that sportsbook are saying concerning them.
Though it is not advisable to trust any online casino 100 percent, so always play with as much as you can afford to lose, it is the same thing as investing in crypto, you invest what you can afford to lose.

And concerning favorite online sportsbook, there are a lot of great casinos here, I personally have alot of them that I actually don't know which is my favorite , my personal advice is that you do your research and find one that meets your standard.
