Yes, there are sites doing honest reviews, but most websites with casino ratings hardly can be trusted. What I've noticed is that they can include 3-4 really good sites in their top 10, and then put on the 2nd, or even on the first place, the shady site that paid them, and since there's no forum there, you won't see any objections.

I think mostly they post dubious sites for referral links. I do not think that such reviewers are often paid for "job". We can see paid reviews on major review sites, but their review mostly shows small problems to increase the credibility of the reviewer and the casino. A biased good attitude towards one site and listing the shortcomings of competitor sites should be on bookmaker review sites and in general all sites in the gambling industry.  Think about it yourself - so you spent time and money, organized a site with reviews and now you have to earn money somehow, or at least recoup the costs.  And this can only be done if there are sources of income.  And these sources are practically only casinos that want positive reviews and good advertising.  And here there are two options at once - to praise the one who paid, and to scold and list the shortcomings of his competitors, who did not pay.

Therefore, read the reviews of real players here in BTT and you will understand everything correctly and objectively.

Not only that but review sites (or at least most review sites that I know of) are basically scams which offer to give glowing reviews in exchange of money to some online gambling casino they have never even heard of, researched or tried out. This includes scam casinos that aren't actually casinos. Although they are a bit more careful about that due to the fact that in some cases they can be held legally accountable.

Still, either way, review sites are the worst. I would not trust them either. Some people are gullible and believe everything they read there, though. What a sad way to lose money.

Checking their reputation is a big help. It is one of the steps you need to do before making yourself play with their service. Find out what issues does their players had encountered from playing on their site. Find reviews. Look also for accusation threads with strong proofs included. 

Right now I do not have any favorite sportsbook as I don't really gamble that much in relation to sports.

in summary what you said is the actual sense of it because before your partner with any company or any platform you have to research and know their operating style because if you don't really know their operating style before going there you can be scammed or you can be rubbed and when something of such nature happened let you feel as if the platform is bad why you are the one that caught it with yourself because of you have not paying attention to check their platform before doing anything in their service

You can't blame anyone once you already experiencing things like this. It's always best to check and do your research before you use the platform. And in exchange they will be tarnishing the brand that they've spent countless of hours on just to put out some reviews for a platform that is not even half-good. I'd say that's a pretty good deal for us who are fed with these fake reviews as we will be witnessing the downfall of these brands together with the platform that they paid in order to make themselves look good.

I agree that it is somehow best to use this forum as a reference before making that first deposit on a platform because there is a huge chance that the platform that you're wanting to play into already has a review dedicated here in the gambling section (albeit the amount of mess that the section has).

I did a quick search for reviews of some of the sites listing gambling platforms and casinos on the Bitcointalk forum and couldn't find anything significant.

Sorry, but it seems that you misunderstood me a little or that I did not know how to present my idea as smoothly as it should be. What I meant is that I will be develop a thread that includes all of the gambling and casino reviews sites outside the forum.
