Is it possible to have an option to not receive the payment for the week and just accumulate until the network fee is better? We can't still use the funds in this current state while the transaction fee on both our sides is high if we will gonna spend it now.

We will think about that, problem is at this point things could get worse before they get better. FOMO is always strong in crypto and it is difficult to predict when the transactions would get better. Still we can talk about biweekly payments or even monthly payments if that is something vast majority of participants wouldn't have a problem with.

I have no issue with either bi-weekly or monthly payment in this crazy period. I will not move my bitcoins after receiving it from the team and see its value drops a lot after spending transaction fee. So moving it monthly looks to be fine, personally.

It's not about me but I think maybe some of others might need it weekly and the team can consider about spending payment in stable coin during these days. When things are cool down, we can return to Bitcoin. I don't vote for this option that is only my idea. If others like it, they must vote for it.

Still no confirmations for our last payment. That particular transaction is made as RBF so we can push it if it becomes necessary. With fees this high we don't think any of you would actually spend campaign money immediately so we are not doing it just yet.

If you are a part of the campaign and you need the funds immediately for any reason, just shoot me a PM and we will make sure it confirms. Your anonymity will be guaranteed and nobody but me and cryptofrka will know who requested it. It is your money and you have every right to get it on time but on the other hand these are somewhat special circumstances.  

At this moment I am just watching mempool and thinking about how we should handle it in the future if the situation remains the same or escalates even further.

@buwaytress special note for you, I can see that some blocks even included transactions with fees as low as 35 sats per bytes while 300 sats got dropped so I guess some kind of accelerators still work. If you happen to come across some free solutions let me know

I am okay to hold payments too. I see no point in wasting fees now, particularly when we also will not spend any of it in this condition. I trust the campaign managers and owners, no issue. Would a credit to Livecasino account work for some people who might want to gamble it all anyway haha?

@Trofo am certainly on the lookout... It could be those were paid accelerators... Made when fees were half of the rate today. Also, could be CPFP payments, will need to look into them myself too.

We are actively working on a solution, it's really hard to find a working one though. We'll keep you updated and ask for your patience in these weird moments.

The easy fix is paying high fees, and you are entitled to your money. But make sure that the pressure is on us as well and the companies don't like to spend hundreds of dollars on fees. If we keep paying them, they might start pausing the campaigns or even reconsider having them at all - and that's in nobody's interest.

Just my opinion trough sending Bitcoin with higher fees transaction

Binance pay for what, what should an exchange has to do with this? Nothing. Who can believe in the proof of payment? Only Binance. There is nothing better like making use of onchain transaction and using txid as proof of payment.

An altcoin address can be requested for in case of time like this. Campaign managers can pay in altcoins during memory pool congestion which is an alternative. When the mempool is better and not congested as it it now, campaign manager can continue to pay in altcoins is what I think.

@cryptofrka, it is left to you people to decide, but we have seen something like that before, not that you are paying in altcoin, but because of how the mempool is just congested for now. There are also lenders that are on bitcoin lending board that are also lending stable coins which are definitely altcoins and their thread has not been moved to altcoin board because they lend people bitcoin. If altcoin payment is convenient for you now, why not use it. Not that you are using it actually, when the mempool is back to normal, you use bitcoin again.

I may not be right, but this is just the way I think about it. But the mempool is getting better unlike when it increased to 600 sat/vbyte, now below 200 sat/vbyte.

In everything you do, I am okay with it. You are the best campaign managers. If bitcoin is always used for payment, I am good with it.

The down part is no one can foretell, when such a crazy congestion phase would come around.
