Why is this campaign paying users to publicly attack community projects? Seems sort of counter to a good advertising campaign and needs to be addressed. I’d appreciate it if the campaign manager would address the situation and resolve it as paying users who attack others with lies seems like bad practice to me.

Can you specify what you mean? I doubt very much that it is as you say, that they are paying to attack community projects. I would like to check where you get that interpretation from.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Yea I am curious too. There's nothing about wasabi to call it a community project(nothing wrong with it for obvious reasons),

Wasabi is a privacy-oriented wallet service. It's pretty much very clear. They even have job openings and will accept any contribution to their open source project(if anyone is interested https://wasabiwallet.io/contribution.html).
Paying people to sing praises and no criticism sounds more counter-productive to me.
It's clear that they want to improve and expand. That's why they welcome criticism  Smiley

He is saying Wasabi is attacking community projects, not that it is a community project itself.

Oops, my bad

Makes sense(the community project part) but still clueless about which projects are being attacked here. Gonna read previous reviews.

I downloaded the windows version. Did not notice anything heavy at all on CPU or RAM stress apart from very rare blips which occur when opening and initialising some programs.

I opted to try Wasabi without using the testnet feature and went straight to mix. As there are no funds in the empty wallet the privacy progress stands at 100% but as soon you receive funds it drops to 0% then works up towards 100%.

I created a second wallet which I did not use but it is simple to create and toggle when/if you need that style of setup. With TOR built-in to the program it gives a layer of privacy which can be increased by using a VPN as it does not affect Wasabi functionality but further enhances privacy for those wanting to feel more secure.

After I made a couple of deposits, it took around 6 hours for the first mix to occur which showed around 30% privacy progress but the full amount of the first deposit as “private”.

After allowing the program to run in the background, the mix for the second deposit took another 5 hours or so on top which then took the privacy progress to 98% and both accumulative amount transactions (minus the mix and tx fees) were showing “private”. After that I switched the device off.

That means the first mix took around 6 hours and the second around 11 hours. When checked on the blockchain there were plenty of other transactions listed which would make it either almost impossible for the average person (or extremely difficult for experienced individuals) to try to ascertain a trace.

Later when I switched on the device again and opened Wasabi it was correctly showing 98% and I let it run in the background, after several hours I noticed I realised the mix was up to 99% and another small fee was applied… this was because the setting in Wasabi was defaulted to mix when the program opened. The facility to pause the mix by pressing a button is at the bottom which was is option for those that are happy to use mixed coins stated as "private" but not yet at 100%.

Overall, I am happy with Wasabi during this experience while testing. I will definitely recommend Wasabi to others as it is open source, easy to use and it keeps the process on your own desktop avoiding online mixers and keeping the process simple.

Suggestions:

The first mix took around 6 hours, now I am aware what to expect therefore I will not be worried by seeing 0% privacy progress but for the first time it can be a little daunting for the uninitiated. Maybe modifying the UI to give sort of indicator would help ease nervous users

I would advise those unfamiliar with mixers and also Wasabi to do some online research to understand about how the process actually works. I would also advise to read the FAQ

I would advise users expecting an instant mix that it does not happen. Wasabi is ideal if you want to mix but want to have access to your mixed coins the following day for example or at least after enough time to allow the mix to occur.

I used Ubuntu 18.04 to test the Wasabi wallet. So I downloaded the .dep file from the official website and followed the instructions from their documentation page on how to verify and install it to be sure I won't make any mistake.

After verifying the signature and installing the wallet, I run it for the first time and it immediately found an old wallet on my hard drive that I totally forgot about and didn't know it exists. So instead of asking me to create a new wallet, Wasabi started loading the old wallet (this proves it maintains backward compatibility as the old file was created with the older version).
Wasabi says that the time needed for downloading and processing bitcoin network data depends on the size of my wallet. However, in my case, this process took several minutes although my wallet received a single transaction.
I also noticed when running Wasabi for the first time that my device (good specs) became slow and laggy. I didn't experience this with bitcoin core.

After the wallet finished syncing and opened up, the balance field showed something like this: "####". At first, I thought there might be something wrong like broken wallet or connection syncing issue or maybe the wallet is simply empty. Then I realized that this is one of Wasabi features (to hide the balance for privacy reasons). Instead of using "#" I suggest using asterisks "*" which I believe is more intuitive as everyone one knows asterisks are used for hidden text.

When checking the Setting tab, I found that starting coin joining for amounts above xx is enabled by default. The same for ignoring dust amounts (0.00005btc which is not dust by any means). In my opinion, such features that require deducting money from the wallet have to be disabled by default.

Finally, here is my review of WasabiWallet, tested on my win 10 PC.

I have to admit that the installation itself went faster than I expected. there is no unnecessary question through instaling.
However, for example, I would like to be able to install it in a custom directory, rather than default target like /app/roaming. there are plenty of reasons for that.

Using dark mode, at first glance everything is acceptable. however, I would have put together the menu a little better. we have additional settings and functions in several different places. I believe that it could be arranged more simply.

In receive tab, I would like to have the possibility to see my addresses. Now I only have labels, so it's a bit tiring to get to the address because it requires a few more actions.
The first address which I used to receive coins, now I can't find anywhere. Behind labels are other unused addresses.
When sending coins it will be fine if there "send all" button or something like that. it is also completely unnecessary to have a separate tab for advanced fee options, there is enough space and it will be fine if you can see which the recommended fee of which will be used.

I tried to connect them to my Trezor wallet, but he didn't manage to do that. I get the first screen on my hardware, but the option to enter a pin does not work
(Trezor one, with the latest firmware updates)

at one point something happened with the connection, although he was connected to 12 peers, the wallet was offline. My internet connection was fine at that point.

since the first wallet I created, I forgot the password. Trying to access using the seed phrase but that was not enough. the wallet itself also has a recovery password option, but it ended unsuccessfully. So I create another new one.

I send around 0.0193BTC there. I choose the Coinjoin strategy "maximize speed" and Coinjoining started 20 minutes after the deposit. Privacy progress varied from 7% up to 65% and back to 24%.

I kept the wallet running and waited for 100% privacy, but that didn't happen.
When I check my receiving address on explorer, all coins mixed very fast. (about 2 hours)
however, the wallet continued to do conjoin and after all, now I have some left in my wallet 0.00999351 BTC I believe it stopped there because by default autostart Coinjoin 0.01.
Therefore, the Coinjoin fee cost me around 0.01 BTC, because even after the end he continued to work.
There is a message that further mixing is uneconomical.

My Review
I downloaded WasabiWallet on my windows 10 device. The downloading process was smooth and quick. After installing WasabiWallet, the first thing that I noticed was the simplicity of the user interface, it was simple but not boring. The colors were not dull like other wallets I have used in the past, there seems to bring life to the wallet.

Creating my wallet was easy, I was asked to write down my recovery phrase, I noticed there was no way to copy the phrase which is a good sign that Wasabi is really about one's privacy and protection. I think the best way to store one's recovery phrase is the old fashioned paper and pen method and Wasabi agrees with me. The copy option suggests it is okay users to store their recovery phrase digitally which is bad. Kudos to WasabiWallet for not making a copy function available.

I like that the wallet has a dark mode feature. Personally I'm obsessed with the dark mode feature, I can comfortable use my WasabiWallet any time of the day without bothering my eyes. You can also have the liberty to turn on/off Tor as seen in the image.

Wasabi makes use of Tor to increase customer privacy. They also have the coinjoin feature on default. With this, you don't have to use mixer services which for me is great. You can turnoff the coinjoin in settings if you do not want to use it.

Wasabi wallet is user-friendly, the interface is neat and easy to navigate even for a beginner.  WasabiWallet is offers the perfect service - privacy and open sourced, the user is truly in control of his coins. I didn't find any bugs. I will be using WasabiWallet more in the future.
Wasabi Wallet will be a good Wallet to be used in desktop or laptop. From the interface and the features on the screen, it is more attracting. Though I have seen n0nce thread on wasabi and read the analogy (Overview).  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5405325.0 and also Ratimov scanning and skimming of the desktop version of the wallet (overview) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5286821.0
I have not used it before but is like I will try it to Know the real use of the wallet so I can make comments with confidence on the wallet. khaled0111, you said you use Ubuntu windows, is it normal as other windows? Such as windows 7, 8 and 10. Because in my desktop, I have partition the system with windows 7 and Ubuntu but since when I installed it I have not used it. So I can't really tell how it works. I also want to thank all those users that review the Wasabi Wallet for smaooth and clean uses.

You messed up something here. The "Ubuntu windows" version does not exist, even khaled did not say that he had such a thing. Ubuntu is specific Linux distribution and is not in any way related to Microsoft software.

Lmo the last I checked this is a review thread, so if you have not tested the wallet why are you commenting here and tagging others, I can see this is for merit begging as I have seen that in your history, you can have tons of merits just by being a booth sucker.

I am scanning through this thread a bit; there are some really nice and thorough reviews that answered some open questions of mine, and some are... let's say 'different'.

Here are a few examples I noticed pretty much back-to-back endorsing the wallet even though CoinJoin didn't work or they didn't try it.. Grin
Please, people, if you write an honest good review, you will get your reward from icopress, no matter if you praise the wallet or not. You don't have to pretend something is great and recommendable if you couldn't get its main feature (CoinJoin) even going or don't understand it. Not to blame you; that's on the software, the software is made for 'everyone', so it should explain everything and not leave anything unclear. These CoinJoin rounds cost a lot of money, so if I was a Wasabi user, I'd want to really know what I'm getting for my money.

...
- I couldn't use the CoinJoin function to mix coins from a hardware wallet. The instructions say that for this you need to place the keys on the computer, but I did not do it.
Conclusions: The wallet definitely deserves attention. It is easy to install and use. It has high security, ensures confidentiality and anonymity. I would recommend it for use.

...
Generally speaking the wallet seems professional with several features for privacy and for customization.
I have not tested coinjoin directly but I think this is one of the best novelty they have introduced.

...
it adds this coinjoin feature that, to be honest, I haven't used it yet but I'm eager to try it in the next days (for the purpose of this review I have transferred some satoshis but below the 0.01 BTC recommended amount, so I will wait and rely on the experience of other members until I make the next transaction).

UI and coinjoin are great pros

In the event any member could not (or did not CoinJoin), it would be difficult to take the rest of the review seriously thus making it no longer a candidate for the 0.002 BTC review reward.

There were 30 members selected by icopress to provide reviews. By reading some of the reviews, I would find it difficult to believe that all reviewers have been genuine in their reviews. The three reviews you have highlighted below are very sub-standard but thankfully there have been several detailed reviews that bring a lot of information that would be appreciated by Wasabi.

To clear things out:

I explain in my review the reasons why I didn't try coinjoin (yet), but I informed myself about this service before I wrote my post, of course. After using it last week, I can only reiterate my satisfaction with CoinJoin. You said that "These CoinJoin rounds cost a lot of money, so if I was a Wasabi user, I'd want to really know what I'm getting for my money". I anonymised 0.01676 BTC for just 0.00005 BTC in "Economic mode": that is 1$ for 335$, or a 0,3%, which is ridiculously cheap IMHO.

On the other hand, you can read in my review some flaws that must be addressed, but to me the overall valuation is very positive. In fact, I am not a candidate in their signature campaign for a week and a half and I proudly keep their signature until I find a new campaign, for free, not because I am endorsing anything for money, but because I genuinely like this project. So please, don't judge if you are not sure about your hunches.

In the event any member could not (or did not CoinJoin), it would be difficult to take the rest of the review seriously thus making it no longer a candidate for the 0.002 BTC review reward.

This is your opinion. If you read my entire review, I explain that I wouldn't repeat, as a Mac user, what others had masterfully explained before me about installation, and I thought it appropriate to limit myself to commenting on a few points that had not been addresed in previous reviews, not as a programmer, that I am not, but as the average Wasabi user that I am.

Please, stop criticizing and let's keep building together. I didn't know that this was a competition.

...

My 2 cents:
I have not used Coin joint Just because I am not interested in this kind of service even if this is available.
This was also not a request for the review...

I have tested the wallet using like another wallet (there are always interisting factors to be noted Smiley )
I have made a transaction (receive and send btc) in order to test some features that I need for my routine usage.
because its interesting make a a comparison with several differents wallets I am using (even some "old wallets" on offline laptop).
I dont See any deficiency if I have not used Coinjoin mixing Smiley the fact It was available doesnt mean that I have to use It.

I reviewed the Wasabi Wallet Version 2.0.1.3 for Windows.

I will focus on the user experience while using the wallet as an average user, and leave the technical details up to others with more expertise. The device in use is my secondary laptop with an older Intel CPU and Windows 10 OS. The software is easy to download from the official site. In my case I downloaded Windows 10+ installer from: https://www.wasabiwallet.io/#download

First Start:

After installing the software and accepting terms, you are presented with the user interface that looks very intuitive and clean, with a dark color scheme, which I really liked. This is my first time to use the Wasabi Wallet software and I didn't really know what to expect but the interface is easy to understand and provides the description in each and every function, so it won't be a burden for someone who don't really know what they're doing.

After creating a new wallet and writing down the backup seed phrase, I was now ready to proceed with the next step, which is choosing a CoinJoin strategy. Wasabi Wallet's developers have made sure that everything is explained simply so that this step is also intuitive, even though I am not familiar with the technical aspects of CoinJoin transactions. After completing this step, the wallet is now ready to use

As a first step, I funded my wallet by selecting the "receive" option, and then I went through a two-step wizard where I first had to add a label to the address. This is a bit different than other wallets I've used. Receiving coins works as expected, but this is the basic functionality of every wallet. As soon as a transaction is confirmed, the "Waiting to auto-start coinjoin" message appears. I find it a bit unsettling that auto-coinjoin is on by default, but I understand that Wasabi is designed with privacy in mind. (I will update this review when the coin mixing is complete)

Conclusion:

Based on my testing, I found Wasabi Wallet to have a number of unique features, especially CoinJoin, that make it stand out from other wallets. However, my own opinions on CoinJoin are very much non-existent because I have yet to actually use it with any of my coins. I do, however, think this is an extremely promising development in cryptocurrency privacy. All things considered, since Wasabi Wallet has different modes appropriate for different types of users, I believe it is a very good wallet even for someone who doesn't like or doesn't use CoinJoin. It's also very well designed, and integrates with hardware wallets that should make people a lot more comfortable when holding their coins. As a result, I will be using Wasabi Wallet a lot more in the future.
