Let the Conference League Cup be the only cup Chelsea will have at hand this season because it's been long since Chelsea won a league trophy to their trophy collections.

Maresca really has to give his best to make sure Chelsea wins the Conference League cup because since Todd Boehly took over Chelsea, no trophy has Chelsea won. This is an opportunity for them since the team looks more formidable in the conference league than the Premier League

It a big win for Chelsea today, honestly they played poorly but at the end it the win that matter and that exactly what they did. The overall performance was really bad, for sure chelsea where in total control though out the match but they didn’t played as expected, the build up was slow, and they barely even created chances. Goals from recce James and Enzo Fernandez helped secure the win.

For sure Chelsea are favorites in winning this tournament, a win at Denmark today mark a huge step in their qualification for the next round. Chelsea will of course win the second leg at Stamford bridge next week. Betis and fiorentina who looks like huge rivals for Chelsea in this competition are unable to win today. Chelsea really need to do better next week.

Chelsea is still the main favorite to win. Im glad that now in the playoffs Chelsea started playing with some main players and to show that they are serious in winning this tournament. Not all players started some did from the bench,if im not mistaken this is the first time Palmer played in this tournament aswell. They got a good win and a big advantage for next game at home

Generally, all teams involved in this competition will try to give their best to win the trophy, but in the end only 1 team has the right to climb to the podium. I think it's very relative, depending on what competition they play in. Chelsea are in the Conference League, so there is no way they can expect something that is impossible to win. This trophy is also very important for them because it is almost impossible to win the EPL title.

We all know that Chelsea is the favorite to win the Europa Conference League trophy, and the only thing that can stop Chelsea is if they decide to perform poor, Chelsea played against Copenhagen and won the match with 2 goals which gave Chelsea a good advantage in winning the next match and qualify for another stage of Europa Conference League competition, Chelsea has not lose any match in this league and I believe they can handle the pressure and win every game they played in the competition.

Chelsea is winning matches but I want us to also notice that Chelsea has started meeting strong opponents, Copenhagen almost equalized today but Chelsea defended well to make sure they win the game, Chelsea should be serious in this competition because this is the only Trophy that they can win this season and if they mess up and allow any team to defeat them that is all for them this season.

The chances of them winning it are very high but then again, there are other competitors who would make it round of 8 and so the Blues may see more stronger opposition and they could lose it when they least expect too.
 For now I'm focused on what Man UTD are doing in the Europa because they too are a team few expected to get to this point judging by their performance of late. You know, it will be a big talk if two English clubs who aren't doing so well in their domestic leagues end up taking their respective cups. If they can actually win the Conference league this season it will be a good addition to their trophy cabinet and will help boost the morale of the players and instill the winning mentality in them. It always a big advantage to get a win away from home in an home/away fixture, Chelsea are ahead already and favorite in Winning the second league too since they will be playing it at Stamford bridge. Honestly yesterday wasn’t the best performance from Chelsea, they played slowly, their was no intensity in their play but a win is all that matters at the end. I would say the first half was poor because of the Academy boys they started with.

A better second half and they were able to score 2 good goals, a long range effort from the skipper recce James and a good technical goal from Enzo Fernandez. Winning this tournament will change the mentality of most Chelsea players, a lot of young players in the squad, so winning trophies will help very much in their development.

Yes, Chelsea performance was great yesterday in the game and maximize their opportunity to score goals when they created the chances in the game, they are successful in the first league but since they will host Copenhagen in the second leg they are going to have the advantage to qualify to round of 8 if they get the victory they deserve. Chelsea still need to be strong in second leg so they can defeat Copenhagen who will be coming with full force to see if they can grab a win since Chelsea defeated them in their home ground so Chelsea shouldn't underestimate them this time because anything cen happen in the match but they having a better chance to qualify ahead of them since they win the first leg.

This UEFA conference League is having attention this season just because Chelsea is part of the teams playing in the competition, I don’t see any other team to compete with Chelsea because they have been the best so far in the competition and they are the team with highest number of world class players and they are the only top well recognized team in the competition.

If Chelsea didn’t win the title, then I will blame Enzo Marrsca because in my opinion, he have all it will take to win this tournament since they are above almost all the teams.
However, anything can happen because we have seen how inconsistent they are, they conceded first today which became a threat for them u till they leveled up and secure the win. I think Marescq needs to take this competition serious because it is likely the only trophy they can win easily this season.

Chelsea have conceded goals in this tournament but the most important thing is that they still go on to win the game by large goal margins and yesterday's game was like they just wanted to get acquainted to their opponents. Do not be surprised if you'd see lots of goals in the return leg at the Stamford bridge.
You're right, it will be a shame if Maresca doesn't go on to win this competition but at the same time I won't blame him if he doesn't because this would be like the first time he's taking a big club like Chelsea to win a competition like the Europa conference league since the only clubs he has succeeded in carrying trophies with are Man City u21 and Leicester City.

I don't think there was anything great there. It was like one of the laziest performances I have seen in Chelsea.    They must be grateful for scoring 2 goals with 0.37 xG man.

But I'm still thinking like Chelsea will get that trophy home. Because just how many other teams are there that can put up a real fight against them in the Conference League? It is nearly 0 - only Fiorentina and Betis.

By the way Fiorentina and Betis both couldn't even get wins against much weaker opponents yesterday.

they want to win, certainly. you know that at the start of the conference league, they made use of players that where more like the team B of the team and managed to win all their games to this level. at this point, they are not taking chances and are using almost all her key players in the competition. palmer that isn't a regular conference league boy is now getting started in the team which tells you they have a clear plan for this league.

English teams like Liverpool and Manchester city that are at least sure that they had something for fight for in other league games like the champions league and the premier where careless to let some minor leagues go off their grip but for Chelsea that only have this as the likely one they can easily win, you don't expect them to be causal with it.

same issue they are facing across league is what they are still facing at the conference league, still struggling to keep clean sheet in almost all her games. look at a game they were comfortably winning two Nil down and then the expected still happened, they gave out an open header and almost allowed her opponent to get themselves all level at the dying minute. if they can't work on keeping clean sheet or scoring more goals so regardless of the goal, they concede, they can still be above, the second league might present something shocking for them

Though they couldn't get a win from their opponents to give them the advantage when they go for the second leg in Portugal, they still played confidently.
 Also, has anyone noticed that Anthony since moving to Betis has become so key to the club that it's as if when he's absent, the club can't function properly?
He was able to provide an assist for the first goal and didn't stop there, constantly adding pressure on the Vitoria Guimares team that I wasn't surprised he got a card. If ever it happens that in the course of the competition Chelsea meet them( Betis) I wonder if the Blues would be able to sail through as they have been in the past times.

Yeah many people do notice it, when Antony joined Real Betis, he makes the team awake, both combination Antony + Isco really make Real Betis become so different. Unfortunately they can't beat Vitoria de Guimaraes, I think they lose because the goalkeeper, they didn't use their main goalkeeper which is Adrian.

If Real Betis will meet Chelsea in the future, it will be a great match and reunion for Antony.

Fiorentina lost 3-2 to Panathinaikos, I thought they would win this match but they lost. I see Fiorentina as the other biggest favorite for the cup.
They still have a chance to advance to the next round. I think they will win at home.

Panathiniaikos managed to get the result they wanted in the first leg.The hosts took the advantage with a 3-2 win over their strong rivals Fiorentina and will advance if they draw in the rematch.A tough away game awaits them, as Fiorentina will certainly have the potential to win at home.
Real Betis, on the other hand, drew at home against Vitoria Guimaraes.I expected Betis to win this game because their opponent is no match for them, so they should have won, but I can't say that they made it difficult for them to get through as they have the potential to beat them on the road.

We saw last match of UEFA Conference League in which Chelsea football team did 2 goals in this match and Copenhagen football team could do only 1 goal in this match. And that team won two matches back to back and that will give confidence to the team for the next matches. James was the person who did first goal of the match and he did goal at the start of second half and he did goal at 46 minutes of the match and after thiscwe saw goal from another person of that team. Now , Fernandez did second goal of the match and he did this goal at 65 minutes of the match.Pereira was the person who did last goal of the match but before this goal, match was totally in the side of Chelsea football team and that team won the match one sidely.

Molde defeated Legia Warsaw at home with goals in the first half.Although Legia Warsaw scored 2 goals in 20 minutes in the second half, they couldn't find a goal to draw this away game.Molde took the advantage but the round is not certain for them.
Chelsea, on the other hand, managed to defeat Copenhagen away.With this away win, we can say that Chelsea is almost guaranteed to pass the round.I think Chelsea will not be defeated at home and therefore we can say that they will be the side that will pass the round.

Chelsea on paper does look like the favorite to win it, but the problem is the team is inconsistent when it comes to winning,  and with the Premier league getting to its last stretch I think the team will want to put all its resources towards getting a good finish in the Premier League otherwise I wouldn't write them to be favourites!

Jagiellonia managed to defeat Cercle Brugge at home.Cercle brugge has been out of form in recent weeks and didn't give the expected performance in this match as well.We can say that they lost control of the game especially after they were down to 10 men in the 59th minute.The home team made good use of their opponent's 10 men and got an advantageous score against their opponent.
Rapid Wien, on the other hand, drew with their opponent with a last minute goal.Banja Luka is a team in form in the league but they struggled to win this match.Rapid Wien is of course a strong team but they had to win this match here if they wanted to go through the round.Rapid Wien came back with what they wanted.

After leading twice, Real Betis also failed to maintain their lead twice. When the second half started, Real Betis managed to score a quick goal right in the 48th minute or three minutes after the second half started. But unfortunately in just 3 minutes through a goal scored by J. Mendes, Guimares managed to equalize which made the score 1-1. and when Isco managed to bring the lead back for Real Betis, again only 6 minutes later the score had to be tied again. Seeing the performance of Real Betis in the match, I hope in the second match, they can improve their performance especially the next match is an away match.

Meanwhile regarding Fiorentina, the aggregate of 3-2 is a fairly thin aggregate, so I think the opportunity to be able to turn things around is still possible, especially in the next match Fiorentina will appear as the host.
