It is important to know what type of gambler is a person.  It greatly helps in the medication of a gambler with a gambling disorder.

Without a doubt it was an interesting read, it seems that according to this I am a conservative gambler and it does not surprise me, I like to gamble but I do not like the idea of losing more money than what I can afford to lose, so I have a set amount of time and money that I am willing to gamble in each session and if one of those limits is reached I immediately stop and then begin to do something else, I will not deny it can be difficult especially when you are having a lot of fun but I decide to stop immediately so I do not develop any kind of gambling problem.

I don't know if they have selected the correct option as most of the gamblers want to make money from gambling and they are not for fun/entertainment only.
For all those who have selected "Casual Social Gamblers", I want to ask them a question. Do you feel relaxed even if you lose in gambling? If not, then you do not fall in this category.

Does gambling for fun (and not for money) suggest indifference? It seems to me that no. Obviously if you win it gives you positive emotions and when you lose you get upset. These emotional swings give the final relaxation, everything seems logical to me. Therefore, those who chose this answer are correct even if they are disappointed by losing a bet or two.

Maybe they choose that choice randomly and are not serious about admitting what type they belong to. If so, maybe they really don't want to tell us and we can just let it be. If they really are not Casual Social Gamblers, it means that they just want to have fun from gambling and hopefully they can relax if they get a loss because losing is a common thing in gambling. Do not let your emotions control you regardless of the results you will receive later from gambling because it can draw you deeper into gambling.

It's not about who votes how, but that noormcs5 wrote that if a person gets upset after losing, then he does not fit "Casual Social Gamblers" category. In my opinion, this is an illogical argument and I explained why.

We are just humans then those mood swings could really be inevitably felt by anyone who do decide on engaging with gambling whether you are playing for entertainment or for money then it would give out on the same feels and emotions on the time you are winning or losing.Being a certain type of gambler would be definitely be depending on someones perception and treat towards it.
Some do play for the sake of making money and some do play for the sake of entertainment.

But we cant precisely tell that we are just playing for fun because later on you would really be realizing that you are really getting stressed and impulsive whenever you do experience

But I still think that in simple and obvious cases, a person is able to soberly assess his actions and his goals. I found this in line with my religion since I don't hurt my pocket and I'm not addicted .

Sorry but I'm quite confused, you said that you avoided everything related to gambling as it is forbidden in your religion but you also said you're still in line with your religion because it doesn't hurt your pocket and as long as you are not addicted to these activities. I thought that doing all sort of things that will be related to gambling is prohibited then why are you choose to engage in it?
Anyway, as long as you're not that drawn into gambling activities then I think you have nothing to worry about because you also classified yourself as a conservative gamber.

I don't mind losing.  I happen to play this Monday, and allocated 30% of my sig payment.  I played to entertain myself so basically I know I will lose all my bankroll but my challenge is how long will my bankroll last.  With that in mind I played and I enjoyed playing that lasted me for 3 hours betting in a minimum.  Then eventually my bankroll got depleted and end my session with a smile.

I generally gamble casually state regulated websites. Rates are definitely terrible and winning is not that good economy or moneywise. That is what I have learned to do the hard way.I have been playing slot machines to the point of addiction not that long ago,just some months ago up to a point where I lost a huge amount,at least huge to me.I immediately decided that I will quit this type of gambling in favor of entertainment one.I have been able to do so,I have learned a great deal of self control,now I only play 100 dollars weekly no matter lost or won money in that session.I only like to get the bonus round of the slot machine a couple of times and I am happy even if I don't win money from such sessions.This way I have been limiting myself to not spend more than 100 dollars weekly and so far it works.

I think we have experienced the same thing, addiction to slot machine gambling is very difficult to avoid considering that this game is easier in theory it does not require special strategies such as soccer gambling and the bonus prizes offered are very multiplied. If we use this stuff to determine the type of gambler, then this is too general.  I believe experts tend to group their subjects to address the problem during treatment. Thus they need to know the behavior of their patient and the reason why they are gambling.  Your categories might fall under a sub-type that determines how much money each type spends.

Well I don't really know the type of gambler that I am but I think I am a casual gambler. I gamble anytime that I like with looking at many factor of whether I have to win by all means. I don't take gambling as too serious because I have other means in which I make money. Gambling is not meant to be taken too seriously because we can lose money anything if we are too greedy or too money conscious. Gambling is supposed to be taken light and not too serious just like as many of us used to see it. Lucky comes to us anything so winning a bet is not always certain.

If you are just to gamble for entertainment purposes only, then most likely you are a casual social gambler, same with most of the gamblers here. Although i'm also not certain as to what kind of gambler i am, but the fact that i never gamble to earn a living and i'm not that greedy to make more profits, maybe i also belong to a casual social gambler. And mostly, i go out with my friends to gamble because for me, that's also part of social recreation.

Some people really take the gambling seriously because they know how possible they earn with it but of course not all the time gambling gives a good profit it is all about the luck with the risk can give by the player, and if you are a responsible gambler always manage the risk you can take such as how much and what is the limit can give, if you got a big wins take it for a call for today not taking too much risk might get towards to more losses.

I have met people like that during my life and they are no fun to be around, everyone is doing an activity to get some fun out of it and most of the time those people ruin the fun for everyone by trying to twist the rules or by arguing endlessly about something useless, and this is an incredibly dangerous attitude to have towards gambling because when they suffer a big loss they cannot let it go and they keep gambling thinking on recovering the money they have lost already, but the only thing they do is to lose more and more money in the process.
