Why not? don't you even learn from what happened with sand and mana? These projects were coming during the bearish trend that happened around 2018 but last year both were giving investors very big return.
That needs the time to develop the product and it can't be done in a short time.

That needs years for mana to develop its metaverse but at the end of the story you would be see how many oldest investors who have been farming huge money from this project.

Metaverse is a very broad term and it is not restricted to cryptocurrency. It has more than a gaming world and is more broadly like VR etc.

Even if you don't connect cryptocurrency with Metaverse, financial incentives with Metaverse, it is still a very young industry and need more time to develop and grow.

Beta phase or official launch and run, it must have good finance and motivation behind. Motivation is something people are ready to explore, to play without financial incentives. Finance means the economy should be strong and sustainable.

VR, arts, graphics are only components on top of Metaverse, not foundations.

Metaverse only started their good run here in crypto market and they are far from over so for sure those good projects can survive this bear market and in the next two years, they will become more expensive. So its good to have some metaverse token now, they will rise again and in time you can see more good projects to continue coming because many will start to adopt Metaverse again.

You can't just think that those projects built in hyped as metaverse will survive in the long run. If we could imagine what happen to some ICO and Defi projects, they went close to dying several months after their launch. Thus, if you are going to make an investment in crypto better not to choose them. During this bear season, old projects like BTC, ETH, and BNB (and some of the leading altcoins) are to be called reliable projects that we know will be able to survive the dip. It was just a slim chance for new and hyped projects just like Metahero.

The metaverse had the necessary hyped to a great build up, the early stages of the metaverse project or utilities saw good attention and good services, but right now I believe the metaverse sector is fast being destroyed by so many projects creating their own metaverse, although what you hold and how long is your decision but where I think would be difficult is how to select a real metaverse project that isn’t going to fail or even worse a scam.

The hype might slowed down by the bear market but I think it will eventually come back once the recovery started. Too early to say that Metaverse is dead because we haven’t seen yet their true potential and they can really offer more innovative project for us. The future is still good for them, bigger projects will come and that could be a turning point of this bear market, I can still see Metaverse project as a good alternatives.

Some will stay alive while some of them will go many years from now. I can't be wrong with this as I can compare them in the past projects as only a reliable project will be able to stay and be recognized by the investors while the other just be rejected and lose their value.
ICO, IEO, Def, and NFT, many of them are absolutely out of the market already, and this will also happen to metaverse projects.

If we want market insurance, then we never have to choose these metaverses. Their future isn't bright enough to see based on their performance and the feedback.

Just a waste of time, we don't need to take it seriously. We need to focus on more massive Bitcoin adoption and don't let ourselves miss the train quickly. metaverse will only be a wishful thinking that can not be felt by all parties. So it would be a waste of time to have that kind of belief in the metaverse. It took more than 10 years to make Metaverse more friendly and effectively accessible.

yes logically it may take a very long time but we all don't know exactly what will happen in the future, I mean maybe in 2 or 3 years there will be a genius who can invent something to make the metaverse grow fast.

I agreed with the momentum of metaverse hasn't reached its potential, there still a long way to go for metaverse in general to develop further.
It's just matter of trend I guess, once the trend is changing and bullish is coming we could see metaverse project could be reviving themselves.

It is still new and we are yet to see a fully developed metaverse project. There are many projects that are building their games and if you are looking at the token price then there wont be that much after the market collapse but just look for the project roadmap and the team behind the project and take your decision as there are a few promising projects in the space that delivered with big NFT signings and hopefully they will deliver with the metaverse as well.

You already said it yourself, the hype is still there so meaning may investors are still going to flock and invest on them whether we are in a bear market.

So for now, I would say chances are they are to survived. But its survival rate does not depend on themselves, it depends on whether we will see another hype in the future. If something new comes along they obviously, some investors might get out of metaverse and then go on the latest craze. That's how everything works in crypto unfortunately.

In some speculations and news that I read Metaverse is a more modern future technology, which is still trying to grow up, some metaverse blockchain projects will also continue to come like tokens in general with various uses. So the future of metaverse in crypto is not certain to be a big in the future, because other innovations may come and become another trend in this crypto space, unless all of the biggest companies in this world join metaverse project maybe it's going to be huge.

Bearish market slowed down crypto projects a lot, including the metaverses. Before the crash you could see news talking about metaverse everywhere and in a so intensive way that it became annoying at some point. But now, those news simply disappeared from the trending topics. Without money coming into crypto universe, developers lose motivation to keep working on the same rhythm. Anyway, I don't think there were or there are great and revolutionary projects in progress. Metaverses presented so far rely more on hype and speculation than on quality and user experience.

I have been actively using sandbox and decentraland metaverse and as far as i can see that if there are not lots of people actively using it as well. It looks like the metaverse project trend is not over because I think the technology is still developing. This may be just the beginning and technology is still figuring out which way to go in the future. But it looks like this will change the interface's appearance to interact socially. We have now started to switch to using technology to interact. There are probably many more projects under the metaverse that will be launched this year and next year so the trend will continue even if there is a decline and a new trend replaces it.

It looks like the metaverse project trend is not over because I think the technology is still developing. This may be just the beginning and technology is still figuring out which way to go in the future. But it looks like this will change the interface's appearance to interact socially. We have now started to switch to using technology to interact. There are probably many more projects under the metaverse that will be launched this year and next year so the trend will continue even if there is a decline and a new trend replaces it.
