The future of metaverse in crypto space

I think there would be a good future of some metaverse projects which are strong enough on technical basis as you mentioned that mostly metaverse projects are on beta stage so we can only wait for the official launch of those metaverse projects after that the quality of the projects will determine its future progress for now it's hard to say that all metaverse based projects are going to survive but I believe the metaverse projects which will have strong structure will have higher chances to make unstoppable progress.

It doesn't seem like it's dying so far really. There's still a bunch of people pushing for the metaverse and the idea of it's development together with various NFT programs and the use of blockchain and crypto together. There'd probably be a lot more projects who would hop on the trend train and possibly develop the system more (hopefully anw). I just hope it doesn't fall off towards only being empty hype and not really developing anything (since honestly, metaverse has always been a thing, look at minecraft).

Both Metaverse and NFTs are overhyped trash. Stay with the real altcoins with traditional PoW and PoS schemes which have been proven since the crypto crash in 2018 and all the buzzword ICO fart into nothing. Maybe venture out with DeFi but don't put too much into it.

No doubt in it that metaverse is going to be the future of mobile phone technology, things seems to be surprising when we compare past technology ideas with new ones, in that time smartphones were at top, smart lcd, etc, not digital currency will be the main currency of digital world and their will be a digital verse where we can meet, play, trade, etc with full anonymously, things are going to be very easy in near future

Metaverse can be categorized as a new innovation that has not yet exist for years in the crypto. The metaverse trends have been starting when meta was announcing to develop the virtual world that let people to connect between one to the each other through the virtual dimension.

The potential is very good for long term. You know about crypto and how long bitcoin can growth from zero to the almost 70k as its ATH?

It needs more than a decade to make it happen and so the same thing with metaverse.

Isn't this around for more than a decade now?  Even before Bitcoin was created the idea behind metaverse is already existing on the internet.   I don't really think the idea of metaverse is an innovation since it has been existing for years now.  I think metaverse is just a new term for online role-playing.

I believe that metaverse hype isn't over since many metaverse projects haven't completed yet, 99% of them are on BETA phase, what do you think? If project like Metahero survive through bear market it will be big in future, profitability wise, so what do you think about metaverse future.

Not because many projects are unfinished, the hype will not be over.  From your point of view, if the project will finish in 20 years then the hype will stay for 20 years?  I don't think the market works that way.

Well i actually think that the big hype wave for metaverse projects is definitely over. It began to fade away even before the bear market hit in my opinion but now it is completely over in my opinion. That being said, i don't think that it is a bad thing that the big hype about the metaverse is over because hype in the crypto space normally just means that suddenly a lot of copycat projects appear that are just trying to hop on the hype train in order to earn some easy money. Good metaverse projects will definitely survive this bear market.

The metaverse has just started and it needs more time to grow. I would say that it will take it's own time and until then we cannot really say if the metaverse will actually be so good or not.
Currently though, metaverse is just a buzz word and there are no real usage for it as of now.
So the current cryptocurrencies related to metaverse will have a tough time to grow in the long term.
It may spike up in the short term but as time goes, only the ones with real usage will pave the way for metaverse related cryptocurrencies.

I see that the Metahero project has started to be actively shilled on the forum, and this, as you know, is a bad sign. The bad sign lies in the low quality of the project and weak investment attractiveness, because I have never seen a top project that would use such methods of promotion. Judging by the way they actively buy up virtual plots in meta universes, this industry has every chance to develop further both before and after halving. But as for the Metahero project, it is unlikely to make it to the next halving

If projects from the metaverse can survive through the bear market and continue to be able to launch projects under the metaverse, maybe the metaverse trend can pick up again. But unfortunately, with the current bear market, developers have to think again about releasing their projects. Metaverse projects are like previous projects incorporated in ICOs and others. So it's likely that the metaverse project will continue for a few more years.

Why hold metaverse projects until the halving season? What is the relationship between metaverse projects and halving? Halving only affects bitcoin and therefore, only bitcoin can be holded until the 2024&2025 halving season.

Metaverse projects are hype projects and the longer you hold them, the more likely it is that the hype at it will pass and you will remain a cheaper asset. It is also doubly risky to hold it during a bearish trend in the crypto market.

Another possibility is that the world is not quite ready for metaverse projects yet and everything that happens with it is just a rehearsal. It may happen that current metaverse projects cease to exist (as was the case with dot-com bubble) , and those projects that will change the world and be relevant in the future will appear later.

You're right, NFT and the metaverse I guess are rudimentary concepts, but the bear market arrived sooner before they could perfect the concept. After the bear market ended, it seems that crypto's main focus will be on raising the NFT hype and metaverse again so that it becomes the perfect concept.

Both of them will not work or at least get enough support behind them. Even back when the market was in bull mode, NFTs failed to lift off and establish themselves. Metaverse on the other hand also suffers the same fate because they bring nothing to the crypto space. Even after this bear end, they might enjoy some raise thanks to market back to bull mode but I doubt they will lift off for real.
