I had 0.00018 btc in my privet btc wallet And i send 0.00006 btc to someone and fee was 0.00002 btc and total cost was 0.00008. now it shows my balance in wallet 0.0001 btc without any issue but on blockchain.com explore it shows 0.00000. What is the issue ? something related to Utxo model? my bitcoin wallet is new one and my friend sent me 0.00018 btc for first time to that wallet . please explain me if it is something about utxo model....

It is possible that the wallet has sent the rest of the coins to one of your "change addresses". These are addresses of yours inside a wallet which receive the remainder of the total UTXO coins.

Bitcoin transactions work by spending inputs, so sine you have only 1 input, it spent the .00018 BTC as a single input, and sent the rest to a change adddress.

A blockchain explorer can be useful for monitoring a transaction, but do not use it to monitor the balance in your wallet. Your wallet uses multiple addresses and a blockchain explorer is not aware of that.

If you expect your wallet to have 0.0001 BTC and it says that it has 0.0001 BTC, then it probably does.

UTXO stands for Unspent Transaction ("TX") Output, which means as soon as the UTXO is spent, it is no longer a UTXO, we call it a spent transaction output.

So your 0.00018BTC UTXO has been spent, and the transaction in which you spent it has created two more UTXOs: One of them is the 0.00006BTC coin that you sent to the other address, the second UTXO is the 0.0001BTC which your wallet has sent to a special address inside your wallet (as I mentioned, this is called a change address) and can be viewed if your wallet allows you to view change addresses.

Would you mind telling us the name of the wallet software you are using?

its not a system where its just
bc1qaddress12345 (0.00018) -> bc1qfriend (0.00006)
                                                fee (0.00002)
its not where it calculates that 0.0001 should remain on bc1qaddress12345
its like a bank note. you cant rip one in half to only spend half. you have to spend the whole bank note and get change in return, in the form of a different smaller bank note going back to you ~usualy to another hand you have
held out to grab the change with..

the wallet is not just 1 address. a wallet is a store of many keys for many addresses
look at the block explorer at the payment you made. and look at the address where the 0.0001 went to

it should look like
bc1qaddress12345 (0.00018) -> bc1qfriend (0.00006)
                                                bc1qchange (0.0001)

this bc1qchange(not the exact lettering im just using a demo description) address SHOULD also belong to your wallet which is why your wallet is displaying it still has 0.0001

the utxo model is the 'unspent(u) transaction(tx) output(o)" model.
each of the 'recipient' columns of a transactions seen in block explorer (those on the right)
bc1qfriend (0.00006)
bc1qchange (0.0001)
are the outputs.

the ones on the left
bc1qaddress12345 (0.00018)
are the inputs

when you make a transaction
it spends a previous unspent transaction output(you received) in full by you putting it as your input(amount to spend) and gives back the change as a new unspent transaction output (utxo)
just like how bank notes work. you have to spend a whole bank note and get change back that is not in the same form as the original bank note(smaller value)

Changed address. You should use it and good non-custodial wallets will allow you to have Coin control features. You can choose inputs for your transaction, you can enable changed address feature too. The changed address feature mostly will be enabled as a default option.

usually your wallet creates these new change addresses for you at the time you make a transaction. but once they are made they are part of your wallet which you can back up

each wallet manages things differently and has different options to look deeper into your wallet.
EG when you use the backup wallet feature. if it backs it up as a file then that file contains all the keys for all the addresses it has created.
if the wallet backs up using a seed (a password of 12-24 words) it uses that seed phrase to create the addresses where all the addresses are made from that seed phase as the key

UTXO stands for Unspent Transaction ("TX") Output, which means as soon as the UTXO is spent, it is no longer a UTXO, we call it a spent transaction output.

So your 0.00018BTC UTXO has been spent, and the transaction in which you spent it has created two more UTXOs: One of them is the 0.00006BTC coin that you sent to the other address, the second UTXO is the 0.0001BTC which your wallet has sent to a special address inside your wallet (as I mentioned, this is called a change address) and can be viewed if your wallet allows you to view change addresses.

it is exodus wallet.

it is exodus wallet.

Exodus wallet does not show you the addresses by default, you must export them into a spreadsheet using the built-in Export feature in the PC app.

the way they check your balance is not accurate and you are the one who can access the data accurately.
Move your coins to a well-programmed wallet and if you don't care about privacy, keep track of your wallet blance with XPUB that can be checked using electrum or block explorer.

I don't think I have to use it to check my wallet. That website is used when I need to check address and wallet of others. Honestly, I don't use it but forum members share it and I re-share it to others.

Third party sites can track your data and they can sell it to other third-parties. It is the same when you use blockchain explorers to check your transactions, addresses. You should use it with Tor connection.

a wallet doesn't have only one address so if your wallet has a balance then it maybe saved in one address or multiple which depends on how you stored it. First check your wallet and see is the balance is still showing and if yes then look for the address where it stored then try that address on the explorer to see if its showing balance or zero. It shouldn't show zero when the address has balance if its still showing it then try using different blockchain explorer.

Walletexplorer can't be helpful here.
Walletexplorer put different addresses in a same wallet if they are co-spent in a transaction. For example, if you make a transaction and use addresses A and B as inputs of that, then both addresses go to a same wallet. This is all they do and there is no way they can know which of addresses is the change address.
