2BTC is practically useless. What benefit will it give you. A good mining rig costs a few hundred BTC

Yes, but the point of a loan is to be able to make money off of it.

hi, as a previous user but not now newbie I found the loan usefull to cover a short term requirement instead of waiting for funds to clear. Can I still use the facility? if so I would like to loan 2 BTC for 8 days, regards reg.

This is awesome, thanks for providing the service. But people should really be using Bitcoins autonomously as a replacement for fiats, even if it means waiting. That just pressures the markets to make Bitcoins all the more easier to use.

A general enquiry. I have used the facility offered because it was usefull to me. However if the advertisement simply stated ; 0% interest free loans. Is there such a thing and if so what would be its basis?. Admittedly as restated here by me it sits oddly in a capitalist system and even in BTC completely free transfers are at the bottom of the list (0.0005) seems to be the acceptable minimumn to get the deal done!. I am generally curious as I appear to be the only one (so far) please correct me if I am wrong, to use this offer?. reg. http://iwantfreebitcoins.com/5603

hi, Perhaps I should be more specific. Does IBB offer as standard 0% interest free loans. Or is the offer currently only available to newbies, which I think is termed a loss leader. Of what limit, duration, or security is required, should such a facility be available?. I know from recent experience that the cost of a BTC went from about 3.6 to 4,2 GBP in the last week of my current loan so there is built in increase in value there but traditional banks add interest to that as well as leveraging deposits to generate revenue of their own. I was just interested to find out how an alternative approach would work/. regards reg

1. yes, IBB offers 0% interest free loans to everyone , whether newbie or not. (maximum amount offered to newbies is 2 BTC only)
2. if not a newbie, you can get any amount, usually upto 10 BTC. (sometimes we offer more depending on the request/risks and/or BTC price)
3. whether BTC goes up or down, you pay back the same amount of BTC you took as loan.

thanks for that explanation- it sems more like a gentlemans agreement or family arrangement! the amount duration and decision to loan are individually asessed. But how is this applied in an essentially annonymous system where almost everyone has a pseudonym? I could apply for any amount of loans and keep defaulting- how do you differentiate between different annonymous users? reg
