What do you mean by "how to open BitcoinZ wallet.dat" on your PC?  Are you looking for it's location or some way to view the contents inside?  I think if you better explained what it is you're trying to accomplish, someone might be able to help you.

Also, you posted this in the altcoin section.  If you posted it in the Technical Discussion section you might find all the help you need with whatever it is you're trying to do.

I am trying to open wallet.dat file as it would be standard BitcoinZ wallet - I want to take a look inside.
Just the same as opening a wallet in Bitcoin Core.

If it is the same as Bitcoin Core, then you can simply just load up the wallet.dat with the correct wallet.

You can refer to their wallet download page, there is a full node wallet information, which is generally known to generate a .dat wallet file.

No, it is not the same as BTC.

There are apps there but I've checked them and there are problems which blocks me from checking my wallet.dat:

1. one app refuses to open this wallet
2. Electrum does not work with .dat files
3. BTCZ wallet seems to be the same format as for BTC but keyhunter does not find any keys in it

Have you tried with the default BitcoinZ wallet? and which wallet did you generate the .dat file in the first place?

Keyhunter only supports bitcoin wallets, so you can't use the tool for this coin. You need to adjust the code to suit with the specific wallet magic code of BitcoinZ, refer to their address prefixes: https://github.com/btcz/bitcoinz/blob/f8842ec2859d38c22b8b03ee61c91f9f59cad403/src/chainparams.cpp#L159-L173.

Yes, I've tried few apps, mainly the main ones and any haven't opened the wallet.

I don't know about wallet file more than that it is for BTCZ. Looking inside binary data seems to be a wallet. Source told me that this is BTCZ.

Adaptation is not possible as magic bytes are too short to find keys - file consists of these magic bytes way too often than the private keys exist so I would get very many false keys. One 0x80 byte is for secret key, so it is far not enough.
Bitcoin have 10 specific bytes before private key.
