Seems like noone reads the rules of the thread. Maybe it's time to send a red message "hint hint"? I'm obviously not going to start tagging folks but I might consider a neutral even though I feel like neutral is a waste of effort.

Maybe it's not the time to conclude that anyone who violates the rules of this thread will get a neutral/red tag.
I tend to notice that the OP seems to fail to understand why the suggestion to lock this thread and create a new thread with self moderation is one of the best pieces of advice to prevent such things from recurring. OP should do it, or should I make one?

The OP should be the 1 to make a new thread since it's his idea. Making a new thread in your name IMO would be a dick move although the intention is good. Maybe send him a pm?

No, I'm not going to start the same thread because it's highly unethical to do so on other people's ideas that are still active. I hope the OP follows up on this request very soon,, so this thread is no longer messed up by some user lazy rule reading/ rule skipping.

Alot has happened on this thread, and this thread could have been cleaner and decent if it was self-moderated and ops give strict rules, majority of those who are violating the thread rules are too lazy to read the first page properly and comply with them and since there are carried away by the taste for merits they violate the rules without even knowing them.

The OP hasn't been to this thread in quite a while, although I'm sure it's possible he still checks threads every once in a while. if you already PMed that's great, if he doesn't have enough time to moderate his thread there's @skarais ready to make a new and cleaner one.

Yes, boss, I did send him a pm since yesterday but yet to respond to that, but I am sure he will do something about that cause that is the only option left to savage this thread and the idea from spammers and rule breakers.

Let's wait for further developments, I really support the idea of creating a new Thread to eradicate Spammers who seek profit here without wanting to read the existing rules.
Firmness must be exercised to prevent people who are lazy to read the farming rules here, serious handling from Op is expected for the common good and the continuation of this thread.

Wishes are not only applied in writing, you have to try to get there. The amount of Merit you need is still very large, I don't think you are making a countdown here, the bold text you print indicates as discussed above (ignoring the rules).

It is possible to make your wish become reality and the only way to do that is by following rules and working hard to achieve you wish, dishing out quality content and putting in more effort into research, (don't expect anything, because most times what you so desires delay to come) so live your life doing your best willing and in no time the merits will get to you on its own through your contribution and helping others in the forum.

-But right now you are way far from getting it right, most especially now that you posting your countdown against the rule of this thread, 200 merit is way too much and you require to put in your own efforts and get yourself closer before you can get pushed up.

Many users are lazy to read the rules on the first page. They only read the title and immediately go to the last page. That's what they do in every thread without reading it first, if they are beginners they can still understand the mistakes but for those who have been on this forum for a long time but still make the same mistakes it seems they really should be warned with a neutral/red tag.

Neutral for spam cases can be considered but must be handled case by case, but red for spammers is not. I think @Fivestar4everMVP is the person most responsible for spam prevention in his thread, but somehow he's not saying anything here on how to handle it.

So far this thread has had 957 replies based on ninjastic.space (including this one), but currently the number of replies remaining is 923. This means that there are 34 replies that were missing or deleted regardless of whether someone reported it to mod or the user deleted it themselves. But I think if this thread had self-moderation then there would be many other replies that might be worth deleting especially those that don't adhere to the rules.

Sounds interesting. But I believe you are not serious about your initiative to make it because the OP is still very serious about this thread. Indeed, lately after several offers of rules from friends that have been agreed upon, many accounts come with no regard for these rules so that it looks like every countdown form is like spam left here.

OP really cares about the thread that has been created, maybe he is busy or forgot to make notifications so this thread looks messy because many people ignore the agreed rules. Behind it all, I'm sure when the OP sees a thread like this there will be something new that can neutralize it back to the way it should be.

No, I don't mean to take over this thread because I know the OP is still very capable of managing this thread well, preventing spam or something breaking the rule. If indeed there are more and more rule breakers by the day and the OP hasn't considered any constructive suggestions, it might be time to ignore the thread.

Here's a possible solution many merit contributors to this thread would consider if multiple users ignore the rules and break them. I'm just passing on the best advice I can think of, but if that doesn't work then I think I'm ready to ignore it.

This discussion has taken up more than a page, need action from OP to eradicate spam in this Thread. They need to be taught a lesson because they are lazy to read the rules, they should be ignored as a form of support for fighting spam here. To neutralize spam, it must be moderated directly, Op must move quickly so that this problem can be immediately resolved.
@Fivestar4everMVP has full rights over the idea, let him play the main role in neutralizing this thread so it runs as expected.
