Are you kidding, 484 numbers is too many for Countdown to Legendary. I'm not sure that with that many merits there are MS who are willing to make you immediately at the Legendary rank.
Try walking normally, no need to look for shortcuts by doing prematurely to reach a new rank without effort from yourself. Please come here again when your merit count is less than 25 to reach Legendary, anyone will be willing to help you.

Ehhh....I'm seeing a lot of that in this thread (or maybe it's just my extreme cynicism from years of exposure to members who'll do pretty much anything to rank up).  I'm not sure if people think this is a thread where you'll get merits if you post about how many you need to get to the next rank, but there's obviously a few.

I much prefer the thread where members get to toot their own horn when they actually rank up instead of this one, which seems pointless.  Your merit count is visible, right there for everyone to see, so why would anyone need to post something that's obvious?

It's the legal begging thread basically. I check it from time to time and help those who are extremely close to ranking up if I can find something worth meriting. I try to only help out those who have done most of the work themselves vs those that are miles away and not trying to put in the work.

For example, Issa56 gained over 100 merits in a week. They likely would have made their rank quickly regardless of if I helped ofr not, but they had been putting in the work and I thought saving them a week wasn't a bad thing.

I'm not a merit source but I almost always have 200-300 merits at my disposal so helping worthy members is a small way of me giving back to the community that has given me so much.

Maybe I'm shy and avoiding myself from harsh tongue so I do caution myself against that. Like you say everyone have eyes to see. I can suggest op can limit the number of merit you need for rank before updating it here.

Even that thread where members get to announce their rank has also been said to be a merit begging thread too. Those who made the accusation may not be wrong because most members who post there are in the habit of listing users who they said have been helpful to their stay in the forum and rank up. It is ego massage. And those whose names are mentioned are most likely to pat them on the back by meriting the post.

You are not the only one who find those comments harsh. I do. I do not know why some members like to knock others like it is a war zone here. But it is always good to walk away when you feel someone is attacking you.

I think have several user misunderstanding about Merit post count down depending with rule have wrote by OP, check again with this point here there are not any priority with still far away with merit points achievement based on your account. Every one can check here with number merit left from this user @Issa56 and need 60+ reach Hero Member, but few week time needed he has reach target with Hero Level.

Better allowed the rule adopted by OP and not dropping any users with large number of merit points needed reaching their target level up from Full Member until to be Legandary

• Minimum required Activity to participate in this program is 50+, any account making count down post here with less than 50 activity level will have his post reported to moderator and possibly deleted.

Maybe this user could be our motivate how to push highest level
