I dont regret it. Instead I might regret not buying when the price is below $30k then after few years the price skyrocket again at 6 digits. I dont want to repeat the same mistakes that I did few years back wherein I didnt buy while the price is quite cheap then bullrun happened year 2017. I feel so much regrets.

So now im making sure to accumulate and hold for long term. Regardless of the outcome I will gladly accept it because its my choice to invest and trust Bitcoin.

A quick question for anyone here who purchased bitcoins say on June 9th just before the unexpected dip began? Do you regret your decisions and are you confident that bitcoins will bounce back?

I bought Bitcoins when the price was at 40k usd and guess what I am still confident that Bitcoins will give me profit.
Before investing in Bitcoins, I have known it’s capabilities. I don’t doubt on Bitcoins.
And yes to your questions, I don’t regret buying Bitcoins. Instead whenever possible and whenever i have some money, I buy the Bitcoins irrespective of what price it’s on.
I have seen previous what Bitcoins have done and that’s why I bought the Bitcoins for long term.
These bear market will eventually go, so no need to panic and take unnecessary tension according to me.

Actually, this is not a new thing when it comes to Bitcoin, because we all know the price of Bitcoin has always been on the fluctuating nature ever since it came into existence,  this recent fall in it's price from $30,000 to $20,000 was just 35% decrease in it's price, which is not even up to what have happened in the past, because we can remember back then in March 2021, something of this nature occurred whereby the price of Bitcoin fell from $60,000 to $30,000 in a matter of fews, which was over 50%, but irrespective of all odds it's price bounced back to stability in few months. But although, am very sure those who bought before the dip in price will actually feel bad and wished they had waited a few days, but for the fact that it has been done, they just have to accept it that way, because thats the spirit of Bitcoin. its not an investment for the weak of mind, but an investment of bravery, time and patience

Buying the dip is the best opportunity in this crypto market and it should not be regretful for its part of life cycle that every price will surely come back up soon. Patience is needed while market is in current situation right now. For sure to those people who bought at $30k, they know what they are into and HODL is the key of success for they know bitcoin will rise up no matter up.

Well, if I intend to trade it short term, I might regret it a bit but if I will hold it for the long term, I would never think of regretting it as bitcoin is still cheap since it's lower than its ATH. Based on its history, it will always bounce back and will create a new ATH, so what we have to do now is stay patient and take advantage of the cheap price as it does not happen all the time, who knows, it might be the lowest dip this year.

I have never regretted my decision to buy bitcoin at any price because I believe the price of bitcoin will increase very high. And if the bitcoin price drops again after I buy, I will buy it again because it is a discount. So why regret it if we can later get big profits after the price starts rallying again.

So before the price increases again and you are too late to buy it, that's when you will regret buying late or not doing anything.

The value of bitcoin dropped unexpectedly this year from $30,215 to $20,385 within a few days from June 9th to June 17th according to coinmarketcap,

A quick question for anyone here who purchased bitcoins say on June 9th just before the unexpected dip began? Do you regret your decisions and are you confident that bitcoins will bounce back?
how many times this needs to be answered? for my years of being here there are so many thread that asks the same thing in everytime there is same happening like now, when price drops here and increase there .
maybe for me ? every time I investing is also a part of me accept that there will be some dumping to come or at least will increase more chances .

Happened to me multiple of times already. There are times that you just cannot predict the movement of bitcoin. So here is what I learned from those experiences.

1. If you hold long enough, even if you bought it on top, there will be an opportunity that you can recover your funds. In my experience, Bitcoin has a cycle and each time, it records a new all time high. You just have to wait for that moment.

2. You can always do cost averaging. It means, you buy more bitcoin when it dips so the average cost of your bitcoin is lower than the highest price you bought. It also means more risk since you are putting in more money but it is worth it if you can hodl.

OP. Your question is very stupid. Any person is cunning enough to say that he does not regret it, simply because he wants to be consistent. Yes, of course, bitcoin has volatility, and we can't guess the best price. But anyone who understands the value of bitcoin also understands that at some point it can be a good plus. And, of course, the cheaper he buys, the more pluses he will receive.

I only bought a small amount of Bitcoins in May above 30,000 USD and even though the value is much lower now I don't feel bad about it. For me bitcoins are a long term investment and I try to be less worried about short term price fluctuations. My problem is that I don't have much spare money this year to invest. So there is not really any opportunity to buy the dip anyway. Every month I try to buy atleast a small amount bitcoin, at the end of June I bought close to 19,000 USD. Nobody knows when the bear market will be over, but if we think long term it shouldn't affect us that much. Once bitcoin reaches a new ATH it's not so important at what level did we buy.

It only took a week for the price to decrease that much and if you are buying bitcoins to gain some decent amount of income in just a short time, then you are in trouble because things like this can happen too often, especially after the bitcoins bull run where most of the people are taking advantage to sell their bitcoins in order to safety their gain. For the one who bought when the price was above $30k, they need to be patient and practice perseverance on not to sell their coins this early rather they switch to the motivation where they gonna hold their bitcoins for the long term instead.

Not seeing any regret for those who bought at $20k or even at $30k.

Still a win win isn't it? the last all time high is $69k if I'm not mistaken, so that is a huge discount price already. Regrets is not buying this bear market, and then you FOMO buys at a all time high.

Missing the chance to buy the dip is the biggest regret than just what you have said. The market drops inevitably, you can't see it before you buy but it guess what, even if I buy Bitcoin at $21,000 then it went down by tomorrow to $19,000 there is nothing I have to worry about. The market will just then move up again, it will reach back $21,000 or more. That is why we should not let our emotions affect our decision and much more we become affected to the market changes as this certainly happens from time to time without telling us.

OP should remember that there were those who bought at $60,000 also. So, if those who bought at $30,000 feel any sense of regret; what do they have those who bought above them do? My only regret if I bought at those points I mentioned above wouldn't be that of panic but that of "I could've got more sats with the same amount if I had waited some more" kind of feeling. To state it plainly, no one should be remorseful at whatever level they're buying in. In the nearest future we all will realize that these selling/buying points now are even far too cheap.

I didn't purchased them in the date you mentioned, but I had a similar situation in 2018. There were no regrets, but man, it was very painful to hold it in the red. Looking back now, I see it as a kind of "initiation" that everyone have to face at some point. Once it passes, you will collect the rewards in the next cycle.

The best way to hold is to not follow it. But it is hard when you are a beginner, you will be thinking about bitcoin everytime.

Do I regret buying before the dip? No not at all. Would I regret buying after the dip? Definitely. Buy the dip and hodl. Thats all the strategy I need. In fact, I would prefer not to even think about the "end" of the dip and just buy whenever I see such massive Bitcoin discounts. Because in reality, thats what they are. Discounts. And once you start thinking of them that way, you will find yourself buying at every dip.

Don't fool yourself into "waiting for the perfect opportunity". 1 BTC = 1 BTC
Bitcoin will always grow, regardless if you buy it before the dip or just buy in the dip. So there's no need to regret, as long as you have your long term investment plan, you will never be at loss. However, if you prefer to get more discounts and buy more bitcoin, then do DCA during the dip. That will be  more profitable. But always know as long as you chose to invest in bitcoin and maximize your portfolio through hodling it, then there will be huge profits waiting ahead, just be more patient while you're still in the process.

There is no time to regret it, Bitcoin is still at its lower price, so instead of regretting anything, I think it is more sensible to work harder to get more funds in buying more BTC while it is crashing.  DCA is always the answer to those who buy at a higher price.  This way we are able to lower our average buy price.

When an investor or trader is DCA-ing he is confident the Bitcoin will bounce back.

The best way to hold is to not follow it. But it is hard when you are a beginner, you will be thinking about bitcoin everytime.

Bitcoin has experienced a drastic decline not only this year, but several times Bitcoin has experienced a deep decline. Indeed, what is most
memorable is the bearish trend incident in 2018, when a lot of people panicked because they bought Bitcoin before the dip. But right now
only newbies are panicking and selling Bitcoins at low prices, so indeed for experienced people, buying before the dip is not something to regret.
Because they know Bitcoin will surely recover soon, but in contrast to the newbie who will definitely have feelings of regret. Even though the thing
that will definitely happen is where we will buy before the dip, because the crypto market is very volatile and it is difficult to predict Bitcoin
price movements. So actually there is no problem buying before the dip and we don't need to regret it, as long as we can be patient and wait for
Bitcoin to recover again, then we can still make a profit.

I am quite confident a price recovery will come in mid-long term, if I would have bought some random sh*tcoin I would of course be worried about my investment, since those tend to die after a significant bump. But since we are talking about Bitcoin, I dont think my positions are lost forever.

Bitcoin is the major of cryptocurrencies, one of the vastly known, secure and ever expanding. In the mean time, this price ranges are ideal to add some satoshis to the bag, if possible.

Bitcoin is the best asset in the crypto market, so regardless if you bought it at its high value, it will always bring profits in the long run. Though the market is not impressive to look at with this bearish market, but the fact that you accumulate a lot of bitcoin in your portfolio, that gives you much advantage to be in a high position when the market gradually turns bullish. With the bear market on hand, it will be the best entry to start investing in the crypto market.
