What happened::

Hello Guys,

I am new to crypto and mining in general and wanted to tell you about this scam website that I found.

The name of the website is linzhiphoenix.io and they claim to be the official website of the of the company manufacturing the Linzhi Phoenix.

At the time they really looked official and I gathered some money from friends and what I had put aside and acted based on my emotions.

The transfer was with BTC, I never really had any suspicion about them.

On the website it said 2 days processing time. After the third day with no confirmation of shipping I decided to contact them again. They made up some excuse for "delaying" the shipping and asked for some understanding. I started to worry, all my friends were telling me that it is a scam. I didn't want to believe.

The next week they were already hiding and not replying....

I don't know what to do and where to turn.... I know it is my responsibility to protect my coins, but still

I don't think they have a profile here

Additional Notes:

These scammers must be stopped and not take other people's money.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

sorry for your loss, you are not the only person who has come to this forum to post about being scammed by fake linzhi websites. unfortunately, I don't really know if there is any way of getting your money back.

as far as I know, linzhi.io is the only legitimate website, other websites that claim that they are the official website for linzhi are lying and are only there to scam people.

So you sent the payment to address 34rJytHdpdeAfjXbhTVrSgTzskL13JK8xP?

Because it belongs to kraken.com exchange, see:

https://oxt.me/address/34rJytHdpdeAfjXbhTVrSgTzskL13JK8xP
https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin/address/34rJytHdpdeAfjXbhTVrSgTzskL13JK8xP

Try to get in touch with them and see what they may be able to do for you. If they decide to help, you will most likely need to involve the authorities.

-snip-
Because it belongs to kraken.com exchange,

I hope it's true.
Based on Kraken provisions, users are required to do KYC for withdrawals. Up to this point, @OP you should immediately ask kraken support to confirm whether the scammer's address is connected to their service and explain your problem.

Faster action will have a better chance of saving your funds.

This space for rent.

Sorry for your loss. That money is gone. You should be extra careful next time.

Linhzi.io isn't even selling any product as of now, but I am not sure why people keep getting scammed.

This is from Daniel their official telegram group admin;

⚠️You will be added to groups / contacted by scammers who offer sample units. It's all fake. We currently have nothing to sell! We don't know when sales will open. We haven't decided the price yet. (depends on the then current market situation).
We do not take pre-orders. We can't say anything about a successor with more memory yet. There's no point in PM asking.

The situation is unsatisfying for us too. But we want to sell bug free machines, at a fair price. No preorders or promises..
We will announce all news here. No posts --> no news

⚠️ only real is:
linzhi.io
@LinzhiCorp
@LinzhiCorp_News

EVERYTHING ELSE is fake and you will get scammed.
Currently we have NOTHING to sell. No devices, no samples, no pre-orders

Please don't fall for fraudsters in the meantime :-)
