The cards you have in mind are both Gddr6x memory and they get really hot memory temperature often creating throttling and thus reducing your hashrate during mining plus damaging the card over the long run.Unless you have a super cooling system to these cards,these are not that recommended as the first mining rig for a newbie,I would suggest you start with maximum of cards of Gddr6,buy a mining motherboard that has enough PCIex slots to run 12 cards so you are covered in case you want to expand further than your 6 cards.The best for me as a card to start is the 3060 ti as one of the most efficient cards in power consumption and also in stability.Whichever way you go do not get in trouble with Gddr6x cards like 3070 ti,3080,3080 ti and 3090 unless you are experienced with such setup which I doubt by reading this post here.

Thank you for advice, can you suggect motherboard for 3060ti ? i will start with 5 x 3060ti and might add more cards in future.

The cards with the lowest power consumption are also the cards with less noise,as the less the power consumption,the less the heat and thus the less the fan spin percentage should be.As the coolest cards which almost make no noise are the Rx 6600 cards from AMD but they have lower hash rate than 3060 ti,they run at 33 Mhsh while the 3060 ti at 61 Mhsh or a bit more.

Stick with the 3060 ti as it will not make that big of a noise,except now in summer which needs the fan spinning at least 70% but in winter they will be almost silent,stick with them because 5 of them makes 300 Mhsh or more while 5 of Rx 6600 make like 150 Mhsh.

you can set them to 120 watts and drop the clock on ram just a bit will do 57mh but you can slow the fans to maybe 60% in a warmer spot.

then in colder spot boost the ram a bit and get 60mh with fans at 60 mh.

every 3060 ti i have has run in the 55-61 hash speed at 60 to 70% fan speeds.

look around for them.

Getting a rig with 9 cards and even the better version with 3 fans compared to the 2 fans one,which means less heat and less problems,together with near 550 Mhsh in total hashrate I would definitely buy it for 4300 USD.

Of course after testing it for one day to check for any anomalies that this board has,it looks quite cheap to me,despite the fact that the prices of video cards have gone down during the last couple of weeks.If it has no anomalies then I would suggest to get it and put it running right away.You have to ask the seller to give you one day testing and if everything look good go ahead and get it.

I have a 2 fans 3060 ti running from almost 1.5 years and is one of the stablest card I have ever had,0 problems from day one up until now.

Very quiet video cards AMD 5600XT, 6600XT, 6700XT. They practically do not heat up when mining, but they are not good for all coins in mining. There are a lot of rumors about hunix memory problems in the 3060ti. Recommend 3070 without ti. If you buy new with a guarantee, then choose what is cheaper for you.

I have 5 x 3060ti ready in a rig and i am started with hiveos. i would like to know about recommend flightsheet setting for this.

Should i choose hiveos free OS mining pool or ethermine pool in flight sheet?

what do you think about nicehash over hiveos? which is fastest payout mining pool that pay in bitcoins ?
I am looking for better easy to use mining pool with manual payout with minimum earning .
