If you don't like volatility, then gold is definitely a better investment instrument for you. It has been shown to tend to be stable and immune to inflation in the long run. Actually gold does not move, only the fiats are trying to fight and want to equalize the value. You should look at the fluctuations in a time frame of say 3-5 years.

I also don't want to oppose you investing in bitcoin. But because of the volatility, people generally slowly lose confidence when prices dump.

We know that if anyone want to invest either in BTC kr gold they want Profit. Now if talk about the profit so Bitcoin is better than Gold in term of profit because of volatility. Second if we talk about security,I think BTC is more secure because there is low chances of stealing nif you secure wallet or use hard wallet. I will prefer BTC over Gold .

I invest in both. because both have advantages and disadvantages.
Bitcoin growth is very fast so it can provide profits quickly, but the risk of loss is also large. Gold price growth is much slower than bitcoin, but the risk of loss is much lower because gold price is much more stable than bitcoin. but in the long run both are equally profitable.

For you maybe because you want to lessen your risk but for the op, he seems to prefer a faster way to earn so I think investing all of his funds in bitcoin can give him a better return in a short period of time but he should keep in mind that despite btc is titled to be the safest crypto, its volatility rate is still high so the money that we put in it can drop instantly if doesn't pump up because there are only two directions on which the price can head to.

in terms of ROI bitcoin is faster than gold the price fluctuates very quickly to move but the risk is high. Bitcoin is more suitable for the medium term and taking quick profits. the long term is suitable for gold, the price of gold does not fall too far, but the movement is not as fast as bitcoin, gold will always have a price.

Both are risky after such high inflation. As inflation rises, central banks raise interest rates to keep their money strong, and the price of bitcoin and gold falls. That's why I don't recommend either at the moment.

better to choose bitcoin if you want to invest with fast movement. but with bitcoin of course the risk is greater than gold. when viewed from what bitcoin has lived, bitcoin has reached a price that is still expensive for now. choose to invest in bitcoin too, it will not be easy to profit if it only goes up a few percent even though the risk is quite large. but if you dare to take that risk, you can take bitcoin for investment with fast movement.

One Bitcoin was valued at $70,000 which defies imagination. Moreover, since Bitcoin is a digital asset, it can very easy to  be kept to oneself.

it is clear that both are certainly quite attractive investments and have their own advantages, it must be remembered that most people still believe that investing in gold has more value than bitcoin. most people still show themselves by using gold as accessories and also the added value that can be displayed, that bitcoin may not be able to do. Bitcoin is often better to grow your wealth in the long term, especially because of its ups and downs in price. That volatility could rise the cryptocurrency's price all the way to the moon for a short period of time. If you're lucky, you can sell your BTC when it's at its highest point to secure as much profits as possible. You can't expect much from Gold, since its value rarely changes over time. It's relatively stable, so it's only good for preserving your purchasing power (not expanding it).

Each asset/commodity has its own advantages/disadvantages, so you decide how are you going to use them for your own benefit. Remember to invest wisely and there should be nothing stopping you from achieving your financial goals. Just my thoughts
